| Hello everyone. Fritz here. The Games wasn’t my creation. Originally, the Games was the work of people like Te and Hats and those on the original mod team. It was the tireless work of Lisa, whom this Game has really belonged to alongside Te. There’s been a lot of changes there in the team just as there has been in the playerbase in the four years this game has run. From Megan and Manda who helped in the Spring to Summer (or opposite seasons, as was for Megan), Lysoke and Reiko who pulled through and got me through some of the middling legs of the race before it was over, Danya and Ema who were around at the winter’s end, other mods and helpers along the way... And of course, those who were never mods but who helped me immensely both with their advice, counselling, and offering writing help when I was at my wits end (looking at you Michi,Terra, and Bri; I couldn’t have made it without you). There’s been a whole lot to happen here, a little of it stressful, but most of it wonderful. We’ve all done some amazing things here. We’ve met new people, we’ve tried new means of storytelling and written our hearts out, we’ve stuck it by one another all this way. We’ve challenged ourselves and I feel it’s been rewarded. This is only my second ever game and my first time modding so my experience has some bias. It’s a little funny, as I was never fond of the books, the Hunger Games. But I played here, with all of you and some who sadly couldn’t make it to endgame with us. This became my home game, for better or for worse. There are many people from here I know I will never forget. I type this now to you wearing my Mockingjay pin. I am so grateful to have had the chance to play with you and I am proud to bring this all to its close. Together, we made a fantastic story through and through. It was three years here for me, culminating to all this, a game embodying and growing bigger than the story this lifted off from. I know when this all ends, many of us will part ways and find new pastures to play in or move on to. Before you go, I want to thank you all. I, personally, cannot think of a better game to play. -Fondest Regards, Fritz, Head Mod/Gamemaker. Moving forward doesn’t mean having to say goodbye completely. From here we open the Games up to be a musebox. People may play as much as they like here, whenever they like. Personal post-game plots are absolutely allowed and encouraged. On July 4th we will be posting a 10 Years Later log but people are welcome to play out the time before then and of course the time after. We also have a Love Meme that is up right now! Share your favorite memories from Games, thank fellow players, receive affection! And finally, here below you can plot out the future of your characters and let everyone see what is had in mind. Happy Hunger Games |

| The main battle met 20 comments within the allotted time! Congratulations! With both this and the ingenuity of some of the ideas in said battle, this portion of the uprising has been assigned full marks. That's 25%! The speeches and confrontations have not yet reached completion however. Rather than docking points, the District breakout and, subsequently, the last Propo pieces, will be temporarily postponed to allow those involved with those pieces to catch up. Remember, the quicker and more complete the thread, the higher the points going toward District 13's approval and willingness to work with the offworlders! This extension will last no more than a week. |

| Hello Games! Have you ever considered what horrors you would unleash if you were a Gamemaker in the Games? Is there a Muttation you've been dying to see? A particular death trap you've dreamed of your characters being victim to in the dark recesses of your mind? Now's your chance both to help out mods and make these dreams a reality! Or should we say nightmares? Just place a small blurb of your idea below. We'll take a look at your ideas and try to incorporate a few that work into the Final Battle of endgame!
Happy Hunger Games!

| And thus concludes the Peacekeeper experimentation and Tribute power experiments. Firo and Eowyn may be noted among rebels as having swapped and changed formulas for powers within the DC and thereby making a poisonous result. Peacekeepers who would've have tried this altered concoction would have reacted very negatively, thus bring the operation into open view. The power experiments are shut down. People who have their characters die will lose any powers they were given or they can also fade out over time (depending on how people wish to play it) as will happen to most of the powered Peacekeepers. However, if you wish for your characters (or some Peacekeepers being NPC'd against) to keep their abilities (presuming they don't die), this may be permitted. Just be sure to keep it all within reason. |

| Hello again from your friendly neighborhood mod team! We're sorry this is getting to everyone so late. Life's been crazy across the board for the entire mod team. Poll ResultsWe've got the results from the endgame poll that we're sure you've all been waiting for with bated breath. For a breakdown of each option, please refer to the original poll post. Option 1: Leave it alone - 2 votes Option 2: Cut Content - 4 votes Option 3: Mash-up - 19 votes Which means we will be going with the future District Liberation events being run concurrently, with Districts two at a time and a longer span between each Liberation to facilitate everyone not feeling so bogged down. The next Liberations will be going up on 01/25 with more details. Liberations from now on will be posted once a month. Side SwappingSecondly, we've been asked to put into place a system for players who keep getting shafted by the RNG to be able to hop sides in order to play with each aspect of the Rebellion and we think it's a pretty good idea! Here's what we've come up with: If your character has been on the same side (Capitol or Rebellion) for two consecutive Liberations, as a player you can apply on the next Liberation post to have your character switched during that Liberation with the following criteria: 1. Provide links to two threads, one in each of the two most recent previous Liberations, with at least 3 comments from your character each to prove that character had been active on the side they were initially shuffled to.
2. An expenditure of 400 Credits These restrictions are to prevent a mass exodus from either side, as we still want people to be able to tag each other in District Liberations instead of having to NPC all their interactions in battle. If the numbers of one side or the other become too stilted, the mods reserve the right to refuse a character transfer from one side to the other. However, we will be having one final, optional shuffle before the last event with no number restrictions, so if you're certain you want your character on either the Capitol or Rebellion side for the end, you will have an opportunity to switch before then. The option to switch sides will be included under credit expenditures in all forthcoming District Liberation posts. Anything Else? We'd like to thank the player base for patiently baring with us while we get everything sorted and we hope that these decisions, while it won't please everyone, will still please the greatest amount of players and improve the game as a whole. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to make them one this post. |

| Hello players, on the HMD we recently received some feedback regarding Capitolite characters and the limitations the war has put on them. We also have noted some confusion among the players about what characters restricted to the Capitol are dealing with and what their situations are. This post is to answer some questions about what the Capitol environment is currently like and to open the floor for players to ask the mods any further questions they might have.
For Staff Members, including Mentors: they are currently on furlough, receiving just enough pension to get by but not coming in to work with their now non-existent Tributes. This means that unless they're independently wealthy or saved up, if they want to go to lavish parties they'll have to rely on the kindness of strangers, start cutting back, give up information about any rebellious Tributes they had for a nice reward, or take offworlders out on friendly dates to try and sell them on the Capitol ideology via a generous 'promotion' budget they have access to.
They will be having regular contact with the Peacekeepers, who will be all but harassing them for any information they have on their former Tributes. Scheduled interviews and polite interrogations and depositions, so on. As mentioned above, they are also being encouraged, as the human faces that the offworlders dealt with most, to try and sway the offworlders to their side and butter them up; for example, some old Escorts are receiving stipends to take former Tributes out to fancy dinners or to parties, and they're certainly being incentivized to spend some time talking to the offworlders in the Detention Center.
For characters killed on the battlefield and revived in the Capitol: they are awakening in Peacekeeper Headquarters, which looks like you're typical office building, and then returned to the Detention Center or to any outside home that they might have (for example, Black Tom can return to the castle he got at the Crowning). Like reviving from the Arenas, they will be reset to the physical state they were at when they first arrived in Panem.
Offworlders in the Capitol have access to all the facilities of the Detention Center, including training rooms and the District Suites, if they choose to continue living there. They are likely to be invited to parties, if only because the Capitolites want to curry the favor of the few offworlders they have that haven't turned against them (or are too threatened or brainwashed to do so). 'Hostages' are being trained in medical care or hovercraft maintenance so that they may be deployed to the battlefield soon.
In general, the attitude in the Capitol is both paranoid and delusional - the government is trying to keep spirits up with even more exorbitant spending, but keen-eyed Capitolites can see the cracks in the veneer; the types of luxurious foods have been seriously reduced as delicacies from various regions are unavailable, the prices for everything has gone up, taxes have increased heavily, and there are strange new 'installations' being put in under major streets (which are, of course, additional booby traps, not that the construction workers are allowed to say that).
After the power chip incident, the Capitol is doing damage control by calling the incident an attack by Rebel insurrectionists who were, obviously, immediately neutralized and are no longer a threat. The government is pressing hard the idea that the Rebels have been entirely eradicated from the city, and is spinning even their losses as massive victories over the Rebels - the result, of course, of the excellent work by the Peacekeepers, the generous contributions by the taxpayers, and the firm guidance of President Snow.
Arrests for seditious speech or flouting even the most trivial social mores have become common, so residents will need to be careful about who they talk to and where. An accurate rumor has gone out about certain blind spots and though the Peacekeepers are rushing to cover it up, you can handwave that your character has heard this rumor so you have an IC location to discuss the rebellion openly. You may also invent blind spots (such as a wealthy family's bathroom) for your characters to use for seditious speech.
If you would like your Capitol-bound character with Rebel sympathies to be involved with smuggling people out, or for your pro-Capitol character to 'suggest' people to the Peacekeepers to try and recover, please let the mods know and we'll see if we can work out a way your character can do that during the next District Breakout roll. |

| Hello, Games. We have a small bit of retcon to address, then something exciting. With the last plot, the power chip liberation, these powers were meant to have been received within the DC based upon IC voluntary sign-ups. They would then be taken to a room where they would receive these abilities as part of testing, albeit with them suppressed. There would be an injection process involved which will be further detailed. However, due to a small slip, a number of character got powers involuntarily, some of such individuals being from District 13. For the following characters: Bayard Rick Grimes Daryl Ellis Karkat Wyatt Please assume these powers were involuntarily given without their knowledge at an earlier date. This can be following their last arena death and revival. They would be considered a part of prototype experimentation. For all other non-powered characters who received abilities, you may assume your character willingly volunteered or received abilities without their knowledge. Now on to the fun stuff. | Hello, Hungry Gamers! Today we're bringing in a small new mechanic we think a few of you may enjoy; District Disposables! We're going to allow people to app Districter characters in much the same way as Disposable PCs. These characters can be played for one District Liberation and then put right back on the shelf, allowing you to expand Panem and the world of other characters without being burdened with significant extra play duties. For example, some playable options include:>The family of a Mentor >The family of one of the Arena NPCs >An AU of another character you've been wanting to play >A totally new OC >A Hunger Games Canon Mentor (I.E. Enobaria) For a look at the APP process for District NPCs, please see here. |

| For those excited to have traditional District visits, we are sorry to inform our players that it shall not be. At least, not how you're expecting. Instead, we bring something much greater: The mods of The Games are proud to present ( fire is catching ) |
