Mad Science Showdown Plot + an important announcement
Hello, Games. We have a small bit of retcon to address, then something exciting. With the last plot, the power chip liberation, these powers were meant to have been received within the DC based upon IC voluntary sign-ups. They would then be taken to a room where they would receive these abilities as part of testing, albeit with them suppressed. There would be an injection process involved which will be further detailed. However, due to a small slip, a number of character got powers involuntarily, some of such individuals being from District 13.
For the following characters:
Bayard
Rick Grimes
Daryl
Ellis
Karkat
Wyatt
Please assume these powers were involuntarily given without their knowledge at an earlier date. This can be following their last arena death and revival. They would be considered a part of prototype experimentation.
For all other non-powered characters who received abilities, you may assume your character willingly volunteered or received abilities without their knowledge. Now on to the fun stuff.
There's a new mission of rebellion from the Capitol side! For this mission, we have a few roles available for Capitol soldiers (or hostages, civilians, etc) to play. They are:
The Planners
These are the people who get the information and form a plan with it which they will discuss with the rest of the group. There should be at least two, one of which should be someone who's willingly signed up to try a power serum and therefore knows the right door. The planners will need to later pass information to the other offworlders not to willingly accept any power serum after this plot. Minimum of two people needed. Planners may also fill one of the other roles.
The Distraction
This is someone guaranteed to be caught, but will be punished for misdemeanour rather than anything large. The Distracter will need to cause a big enough commotion so as to draw peacekeepers to them and away from observance points. Minimum of one person needed.
The Fall Guy
Someone needs to block out the cameras so that those preforming the mission won't be caught. If the fall guy is a hacker with access to computers (i.e. not being held within the Detainment Center) they may be able to shut down surveillance briefly and get away with it. Otherwise, the fall guy will need to be willing to accept the blame and consequences as it the price of allowing this mission to be planned and acted out. One person needed.
The Sabotogers
The sabotagers are those going on the mission. It is their job to use the distraction time to sneak into the serum room. They will need to find a specific thing, replace it with a false copy using items in the room, and get out. Minimum of two people needed.
This mission will be a fast one, being planned and acted upon in a span of an IC hour. It will be a chance for Capitol Soldiers to strike a blow against Capitol forces, causing chaos among the Powered Peacekeepers and effectively eliminating them. When it becomes clear the serum is (seemingly) toxic to peacekeepers and once the head Peacekeeper has finally caught wind of where these experiments are being done, further work will be put to a halt.
Should the minimum sign ups not be met, it will be assumed that characters have no desire to disturb things within the Capitol and this plot will not run.
To sign up, please fill out the following:
Remember that your character must currently be situated on the Capitol's side either as a soldier or hostage or civilian on that side. Sign ups close on January5 14th at midnight EST. The Mission will begin aproximately Friday
