"But do you see that?" -- IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
For those excited to have traditional District visits, we are sorry to inform our players that it shall not be. At least, not how you're expecting. Instead, we bring something much greater:
The mods of The Games are proud to present the very beginning of WAR TIME! We've updated a ton of pages, from apps to info, and will continue to be doing so over the course of the next few days. One of which we have ready for you is your new associations page! If you're wondering what this is supposed to tell you, all those who properly filled out their shuffle info have been rolled accordingly! How it works is as follows:
Offworlders get one group. These are the people caught in the shuffle and who will be continually reshuffled during the 11 main war missions. You will note that beside each name is the Character's role and current allegiance (not the allegiance of their choice but what side they are on). There is also a note that says "Districts" with a number beside it in black or clear. These numbers will be collected for each District that is fought in.
That's right, you will be fighting in and for the Districts. If you serve on the Capitol's side for the first and second, the first two numbers will be clear. If the third is fought for the rebellion, it will be black.
Rebellion: ❶ ❷ ❸ ❹ ❺ ❻ ❼ ❽ ❾ ❿ ⓫ ➽
Capitol: ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑧ ⑨ ⑩ ⑪ ✖
The next group is District 13. It shows Panem Natives and those shuffled into 13 who are non-soldiers as "allies". There are no hostages at this time.
The Capitol group is similarly indicative. Panem Natives on Capitol's side can be seen. There are more allies here, some who are not soldiers. Due to the rebellion being more popular than Capitol, those who CHOOSE to be on Capitol's side are exempt from shuffling, even those who are soldiers (unless arrangements are made).
The final part of that group are the hostages. If your character is not fit to be in war (as indicated by the roles) or refuses to fight for the Capitol despite being rolled onto that side, they are kept as hostages. AS non-soldiers, they are exempt from shuffle and will require other arrangements for changes. You can request for your character to be moved from non-soldier to soldier status at any time, and vice-versa.
If your character's been rolled over to District 13 see this IC post and our information about District 13 here. If your character's been rolled to stay in the Capitol, you'll want to check out this IC post, and this OOC thing letting us know what will be motivating your character for the first battle and various battles to come as rolls dictate.
There will be further shuffles with each District Liberation. More details on how District Liberations rolls work will come with the District Rolls (the new death rolls for war). The first one will be running next monday in District.....................
[Drum roll]
12! We hope you'll all enjoy this new format for The Games as we head into an exciting war time and on our way to a satisfying endgame. And of course, as always...
May the odds be ever in your favor.
