| Remember when your characters came into The Games? They had those weapons, precious items, Things of Significant Value on them and then they were either lost or replaced with a near perfect replica.
Well now we want to know what those are! To avoid making us sift through hundreds of apps for information that might or might not be there, please comment to this post with a list of whatever was on your character upon their arrival, even clothes if you feel so inclined! Pictures are encouraged and appreciated, though if you want to link to them instead of embed them to keep the page from overloading, that would be aces.
It's important that anyone with items of this nature reply to this post, and even if your character had nothing important on them at the time, comment anyway and let us know!
We thank you for your cooperation! |

| We've got some important stuff to announce here. Because of the importance of it all, we will need everyone to comment below right here to prove they've read everything. The first thing that people should know is that due to plots and timing issues, endgame will not be ending in March, but in June. It will mean the same amount of content as before, only now it is more evenly spaced and allows optional downtime. ( cut for length. ) |

| With team work and skill, the mission went off perfectly! The transmitters put in place and the staff none the wiser, the Capitol only knows it's train was attacked and raided, taking suspicion of the main objective. 13 is one step closer to a successful rebellion with the ability to talk to the districts now in place. Of course, this mission wouldn't have been a success without the help of those who risked themselves to carry it out and Coin knows that. A week after the mission's conclusion, the new supplies stored and the transmitters proven to work, those who volunteered will find a small token of 13's appreciation waiting for them when next they step into their rooms. ( And your prizes ) |

| With the end of the arenas, drops will be working in a new system. Henceforth, all drops unless otherwise specified will be considered casualties of war OR victim to the offworld sickness. If your character is an offworlder and you do not specify at the time of drop, the result will be whatever is closest to the time of drop. For example, if there is an illness wave after the time of drop, they will die from that, but if there is a set battle or RNG event at the time of drop, they will pass from that instead. If your character is not an offworlder but the drop does not specify their end result they will be assumed victims of war. If neither of these results work, you must speak to mods beforehand. If you wish for your dropped offworld character to be victim of offworld sickness before war time, you may note so. As was established in the Thicker Than Blood plot, all dead offworlders return home void of memory. Panem natives will simply be dead. The second thing we'd like to address today is that we are altering the rule that only three Tributes may be apped. With war time nearing and only one arena left, we are allowing more Tributes to be apped in, pending mod approval of your current activity. Should we reach our Tribute cap, mods reserve the right to temporarily rescind this rule (though it will not mean that anyone already with more than three Tributes will have to drop a Tribute). Thirdly, with the final arena, buyouts will be permitted at the Cornucopia. After the arena we will likely be imposing some further changes so that points can be put towards something other than the arena. Stay tuned for that. Please comment below to show you understand this. And finally, we come to you all today with a special request. ( Read more... ) |

| Hello Games! We've got another announcement for you, this time regarding our mod team. There's been even more changes recently, some of our team had already found a want for help, and on top of that, an ending for a big game like this requires a lot of work. In order to best even out the load and allow us all to roll into a smooth endgame and get to play in it as well, we've taken on a few new helpers!
First, we welcome back Reiko (Albert Heinrich) who modded for us before a few months back. Reiko will be helping with OOC tasks like managing our private organizational sheets, sliding up HMD, PPP, and AC, among other similar tasks.
Completely new to the team is Lysoke (Panem Bucky Barnes, Jet Link) who has taken a stand as our District 13 mod, having already been a great help in this respect before having put on a mod hat.
Also helping with IC mod tasks is Ema (Cassian Bouchard, Nevas Tabris, Rochelle, Neorah Redglare). Ema will be around to help with answering mod questions, PMs, Plot Proposals, and so on, as well as helping with Celebrus and other future aspects of Capitol Propaganda.
Still with us as a helper is Lisa (Bayard Sartoris, Matthew 'Punchy' O'Connor, Jason Compson IV, Temple Drake, Thomas "Black Tom" Cassidy, Venus Dee Milo) who is around writing Panem Nightly, covering world building and similar aspects, and being our personal reference on early times in game as one of our oldest players.
Among our head mods, Danya (Clara Murphy, Darcy Lewis) will continue to work with our OOC dealings of lists, the wiki, and ATP. Sarah (Molotov Cocktease, Swann Honeymead, Wednesday Adams) will be sticking around Death roll, Celebrus, Panem Nightly, and other IC parts. Manda (MCU Bucky) will be around for Celebrus, Arena work, and other IC plots. I, your friendly neighbourhood Fritz (The Initiate - young GHB, Kurloz Makara, Hannah Megido) will be here with TYP, Celebrus, Arena work, Death rolls, and other IC plots as well.
There are several things that will be divided evenly among us, including the big plots of the endgame plot so each part is given the attention it deserves and things can be done early and we can all enjoy this Game's end!
Please give your new mods a hand for stepping up to the plate and taking on the extra load to make this endgame an enjoyable experience for everyone! |

| Hello everyone, it's been a while since the endgame vote happened and we'd like to update our playerbase on what to expect from The Games in the coming months.
After taking everyone's opinion into account it has been decided that going forward there will be one mini-arena and one final main arena. After the conclusion of Arena 15, Tribute characters will return to the Capitol for a short period, after which they will embark on the newly revived District Tours as part of the Capitol's attempts to keep the Districts in line.
It is during these District Tours that the war will break out and endgame will begin. When this happens, there will the choice for characters to remain in the Capitol as pro-Capitol allies, prisoners, hostages and conscripted soldiers; or to escape and become part of the rebellion. At the beginning the rebellion will be centered solely under the leadership of District 13 with the possibility of other avenues opening up later depending on character actions during the events of the war. Prior to the beginning of the war we will be posting more events demonstrating the increase in tension between the Capitol and the Districts, with plots based both in the Capitol and in District 13 in the coming months.
This means that with our current schedule endgame is slated to begin sometime in November. The current estimate is for the war to last roughly 3 months with possible extension depending on how things develop, after which (if the player-base wishes it) the communities will be left open as a musebox style rp for those wanting to continue playing out the aftermath and rebuilding of Panem.
A few other points we'd like to address from the gamewide vote for the forthcoming war: - There will be the potential for characters to gain limited use of powers, the expansion of which will depend on how the first few instances of this being allowed play out. - We will be opening up avenues for characters to explore the issue of how memories are retained after death, as well as investigate the trans-dimensional mechanism the Capitol uses to bring Tributes to Panem in the interest of them escaping back to their homes. The success of this will be decided at a later date.
We still have a few big mysteries left for long term solving and we hope these surprises will be exciting for everyone, leading into what we plan to be a satisfying finale to the game.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience in waiting for this announcement and hope that together we can give The Games the send-off it deserves. |

| Hello everyone,
Due to multiple people failing to check into AC in the past few months, the mods have decided that they will not be lenient with people 'forgetting' to post to it or hiatus. From now on, failing to check into AC in a timely fashion will no longer result in a strike but in your character being swept from the game and there being a two-week limit before you can reapp. It creates extra work for the mods when players fail to check in. We expect people to miss AC only for serious reasons, such as family emergency or internet failure, and if you have time to tag you have time to post a hiatus or let the mods know that your AC will be delayed.

| After asking some of the players and plotting some character beats for endgame based on the Long-Term Plotting post, the mods have realized that we’re operating without many pro-Capitol characters, and that that puts a lot of pressure on the few pro-Capitol character players to carry a lot of the plots. As such, we’re hoping that by putting in a Disposable Capitol PC program we can tip a few people into helping lighten the load a little bit. The Disposable Capitol PC mechanic is such: 1. Players with at least one other active character in the game can app a pro-Capitol PC under this mechanic. All players can alternately choose to just app a pro-Capitol PC regularly, through the usual application mechanism. 2. Disposable PCs must be pro-Capitol. 3. Disposable PCs do not earn credits for the people tagging them or for themselves. Disposable PCs earn AC by doing at least one open post per Arena cycle (so about one every four months). You can also tag around with them. The goal is to have them be a visible presence in the game but not a significant burden on the player’s time, as many players cited lack of time as a reason that they didn’t app a pro-Capitol PC. 4. Disposable PCs can be OUs or Panem AUs. 5. Disposable PC apps will include a basic outline of what goal the player has for the character (prison? killed as a martyr? karma houdini?). That section of the app will be kept screened so the player and mods can surprise other players. 6. Disposable PCs cannot be Stylists or Escorts. They may be Mentors, as each District can have multiple Mentors. 7. Disposable PCs can be previously dropped Capitol characters. You can drop a PC and turn them into a Disposable PC with mod consent. 8. If a Disposable PC is dropped, the player implicitly gives the mods permission to use that character in future plots for endgame. 9. If a player enjoys playing their Disposable PC, they can upgrade them to an actual PC through a streamlined app process on the traditional app page. Another issue players brought up is that, outside of the typical Staffer roles, it can be difficult to keep a Capitol character involved in the game or to think of a non-Staff position. The mods will definitely run plots with an eye towards keeping non-staff Capitolites involved, and at request we have compiled a non-exhaustive list of positions a Capitolite can hold that will require interacting with Tributes: - Sponsors - Restaurant owner/waiter/bartender for the Training Center Cafe - Training Center Avox handler - Training Center EMT or medical staff - On-site counselor for Mentors - Auditor - Tech support, including for Tribute info chips - Tribute interviewer (can also help co-write Panem Nightly) - Paparazzi - Certain ministers of Snow’s cabinet - Stylist assistant - Peacekeepers - Muttation engineers (genetic engineers) - Other scientists working in the Capitol - Young Capitol Children / Fans (can interact in TYP and in parties) - Party/Tower Decorators The mods are happy and willing to work with the player for any Disposable PC to make sure that your character gets to do something with the Games. We realize we have also been a bit lax in finding reasons for Capitol PCs who aren’t staff to get involved, and we’re going to affirmatively try to change that. |

| Hello everyone, just a reminder here to please, please tag your posts so mods can follow what you're doing easily. We rely on people to adequately tag their posts to look up gossip for Celebrus and Panem Nightly, check your AC, and quickly pull up threads that have plot-relevant material. If you don't tag your posts, you're going to miss out on things the mods want to do with you or run into AC complications down the line when your estimate doesn't match what we have from looking through your tags! So please tag your posts.
Thanks! Lisa |

| Hello players! We the mods have decided to try something a little new here in the Games, especially with end game getting ever closer! The Games was always meant to be an interactive game, where the actions of the characters held bigger impact over the world as a whole.
We've had Ariadne's execution, Eva's work towards taking out the power, Penny's assassination, and the recent Binding plot! We've also had open rebellious actions of District 3 Tributes combining with the patient zero plot, resulting in the wiping of D3 completely off the map, and Cecil's broadcast to follow! In Steve's first instance of speaking out, many Tributes were blown up on their pedestals. All these things have been the actions of characters going in to affect the world of the game.
This is a plotline too of the initial canon, where Katniss's actions led into wider rebellion. And likewise, had she turned down a different path, could've resulted in her swaying Panem back into complacency. How does your character intend to make their move? By inciting uprising in the Districts, working with the Capitol, or burning the whole place down?
Because mods can be scary to some people, we wanted to offer you all a place to work out some of your major goals in the game, even if they seemed to be otherwise wild or unbelievable!
Is your character a Gamemaker like Sigma Klim? Are they a part of the Peacekeepers like Albert Wesker? Do they do the news like Cecil Palmer? Are they an assassin? A graffiti artist? A spy? A hacker? A stylist with a message to send (like Cinna)? A regular person intent on bringing this place down? Now's the time to tell!
This is NOT the same as a plotting thread as this will be used for mod reference, letting us see what plots would best benefit the player base and if there are any characters who can help facilitate future ones!
Please fill out the information below!
And remember, you can't be late! Even if you're a new app-er from a week or a month from now, you are free to reply here. If you don't reply, we will assume you do not have any desired direction and are prepared to go right along for whatever right comes! |
