Character: Jennifer Blackwood
District and/or job: Tribute Comfort & Care Administrator.
Basic personality: Reserved, polite, savvy, appearance-minded, a do-gooder, views herself as the voice of the Tributes. She's the wife of a politician and a former escort who now works as a liaison between the Capitol and the Tributes. Her character is inspired by Guinevere of Arthurian legend and the fictionalized version of Eva Peron from Evita.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Jennifer has an office in the Tribute Center which has an open door policy. Any and all characters are welcome to visit her to air their grievances, discuss, the weather, etc. She's recently hosted a Saturnalia party, which is open to anyone in the Capitol during this past week.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I would love more CR with escorts, stylists, mentors, etc. All Capitol folk, come at me!

District and/or job: District 1
Basic personality: In canon: bubbly alien Disney princess with a tendency towards typical teenage thoughtlessness. In game: Pretending to still be bubbly alien princess while harboring a secret desire to stage a hostile takeover.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Recently, Feferi lost her boyfriend (in the mini-arena) and lost Arena 12 when she could have won if she hadn't left the safety bunker, so there's a lot of growing frustration. She's also lost a lot of close CR in general, so she's throwing herself whole-hog into becoming a Capitol darling in hopes that gaining the Capitol's trust can help her help the Rebellion. Normally in the Arena she "plays the game", tries to survive and put on a good show. She's getting more aggressive with each Arena, after having faltered on a few attempted kills.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Anything, enemies, allies, rivals, anyone she can have a dynamic with either for real or for show in the Arena, she's almost a clean slate at this point as far as CR goes. Capitol citizen CR would also be really great!

District and/or job: District 5 Tribute
Basic personality: Former almost-tyrant goes through redemption arc and becomes mostly a huge softie with hair-trigger temper and some slight identity problems he's still piecing through and a need to do some good for once.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Not too too much. Settling into his new self, making friends, navigating his torrid lovelife. He got his horns sawed off in arena and died getting cut in half by a door. After that, a little machine with his voice was really awful and acted like who he used to be while Initiate watched in horror back in the capitol (this is going to posted in Jennifer's log most likely. I would love for people to witness this to be surprised at him, give him shit, or symapthize???).
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Initiate has one more arena ahead. After that, I am calling it my deadline for some kind of plot leading to him being avoxed. This will be permanent, lasting the rest of the game. (Though my goal is for him to eventually get to D13 from there.) In the meantime, Signless just won the arena and he's going to scream like he just one the lottery because he can't believe that just happened. He's going to be pretty happy/relieved about it.

Basic personality: Calendius is sort of like the overbearing soccer mom you never actually wanted who lives vicariously through his Tributes. You better believe it's uncomfortable and annoying. He's also very handsome has 6% body fat and those things totally count as a personality traits.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena Basically he's mad D2 hasn't done better (the injustice of it all), and huffed and puffed over it at any and all viewing parties or public gatherings.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'd like for him to stupid/obnoxious at more people? Really I'm up for anything with him. He actually does want to be helpful, he's just a jackass about it and has a lot of rah rah team loyalty going on for District 2.

Basic personality: Extreme nihilist suffers depression and hates you all.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: She's still haunting District 13, not doing too much atm but question every choice anyone ever makes around her with both apathy and cynicism.

People who wish to try to break her shell are welcome. People who want to make some friendships-only-not-really-because-she's-herself are also welcome. Just trying to give her footing.

Basic personality: She is generally friendly, but also takes no crap. She's kind, gentle and protective with people who are vulnerable, loyal to her friends, and doesn't back down from confrontation with antagonists. She's soft spoken but also often wry or bitingly sarcastic. She's perceptive and usually accurate, but she can get in trouble if she reads someone wrong.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Joan is currently in District 13. Her most recent plot point would probably be her ill-advised confrontation with Jade.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I've volunteered Joan to go on the mission to the Capitol to retrieve people for 13. I would love to have her encounter Capitol folks in the process, both people she knows and people she'd be meeting for the first time.

District and/or job: District 7 tribute
Basic personality: Manipulative and not to be trusted.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: In the recent arena Loki got into a bunch of fights, coming out the worse for wear and ends up getting killed by Natasha and Clint. All these threads are still ongoing. Otherwise he was skulking around and failing at getting extra supplies. When resurrected, he'll likely feel humiliated after all his big talk going in and being such a failure when it counted.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Once the arena threads are at least mostly resolved I'll have him out and about again and I'd love any and all CR. Let me know if you'd like Loki for something!

District mate! And he kind of knows your comic book person, so he might be a little confused on how this guy is not quite like the one he knows. But he's cute, too, and that counts for a lot in Star's book.

District and/or job: D5
Basic personality: Snarky military guy with trauma issues who works as a counselor for veterans and has recently become kind of a part-time superhero.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Sam helped Bruce Banner set up an infirmary and gave medical attention to their allies; held Steve's hand a lot when he was injured and then again when he was dying; teamed up with Venus against Loki, with Natasha against aliens, with Jet against more aliens, got his butt saved by Bucky against Rumlow (he had a lot of team ups, okay); set up a metal scrap Christmas tree in the infirmary and delivered weapons as gifts; possibly got bitten by a zombie; got mortally injured in an ill-advised fight with a Viking protecting some guy he'd never met; dragged himself off to die with Bucky.

It was an eventful first arena.

Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Sam is going to be a bit off the first week or two after the arena, mostly coming out in not sleeping at night thanks to nightmares! His close CR can probably expect him showing up at their rooms at night - I'll likely have an open log up for this later this week and can definitely do specific prompts for anyone who wants them. (Except Venus, I'm gonna tag into her open log.) He'll also be dragging some people off to blind spots to have a more Capitol-free chat with them.

He's going to be drawn to people showing signs of trauma or otherwise being affected by the arena, and will probably be spending a lot of time in the training room. I'd also like to get him more involved in the rebellion, but I'm still feeling out how to do that. Sam's been trying to play along with the Capitol so they don't view him as suspicious, with hit or miss success - he's not a spy okay - and he could probably use some help with that, too!

Basic personality: A cross between a spoiled manchild and charming psychopath. The Richie Rich of murder. Gets psyched about trick-or-treating but will also bathe in the blood of his victims. Thinks he's a god, his only friend ever was a creepy clown/serial killer, has a hair trigger temper, and longs to be famous. He can be charming when he wants to be but in general a very mean guy.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Right now he's trying to play up his poor helpless rich boy side (and getting angry that he doesn't have superpowers) but in future arenas he'll likely be actively on the hunt seeing as everyone will know he's not so innocent. He'd probably look for allies that would benefit him and in general try to play it Career-style. Outside of the arena, he'd be working out, acting superior to everyone else, and trying to get in cozy with the Capitol because he really loves the whole televised murder arena thing way too much.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He's going to get killed by a zombie and be pretty upset about that, although coming back to life will certainly fuel his god complex. He's also probably going to make a network post praising the Capitol to high heavens and talking about how great and fun the whole arena thing is. He doesn't get why everyone else is so upset about it. I'm up for anything in terms of CR because he's really new! Characters he'd ally with? Fellow narcissists? Other villains? Capitol characters he'd try to suck up to? Negative CR? Anything!

Character: Apollo
District and/or job: 4 haha him having a job haha what a bum
Basic personality: Apollo knows he's awe-inspiring and likes to show it. The confidence he exudes comes from his spoiled nature as a god. He has always been beautiful; he has never had to eat or drink and anything he puts into words is the truth. Sheltered doesn't even begin to cover his life before he started to speak with Ganymede, Hades and Iris. Everything was simple then. If he wanted to smash a village of mortals just for a laugh, he did; if he wanted to kidnap a mortal and play with their mind, he did. Yet, by the end of the manga, things are beginning to change.

To put it simply - Apollo grows up. He will always be a god who enjoys playing games (head games especially) with mortals - because the other gods are no fun - but he has lost much of his heartless cruelty. His eyes are open to the pain and misery of mortals and, instead of making things worse for them, he watches for their successes and their failures. There are things a god can do to make mortal lives easier, after all - not that he'll get overly generous.

In the game, his generosity will be almost nonexistent thanks to the power cap. It's easy to be generous when you're top dog. Upon arriving he'll do everything he can to look after himself - but, as time passes, it's not impossible for someone to capture his heart. Once they do, he'll probably do his best to look after them too. Apollo, you softy.

Basic personality: He's a stoic do-gooder who's a little awkward in social situations and especially when being flirted with. He used to be pretty angry and traumatized but he's getting better! Generally he wants to help and protect the innocent. If you want the tl;dr version, you can read his app here!
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: He literally just showed up in the arena for the last week or so of it, before getting blown to smithereens. If you want to backdate something with him in the arena, I have an open log for him here!
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He'll be in the Capitol for the first time really, and needing to acclimate, which should be fun! Because what is technology. Being from a medieval fantasy world is tough, man. Also, he's a recovering addict, so if that's a thing that pings you (or that you want to avoid!) let me know.

Character: Rick Grimes

District and/or job: District 3 Tribute

Basic personality: Rick is a moral, good-hearted man turned leader of survivors. His post-apocalyptic life has hardened him, making him both brutal and merciless when it comes to defending people he cares about. He's suspicious of new people, but if they are straight with him and don't threaten him and his own, he's a damned good ally and friend.

... He was also slightly unhinged, but he got better. Mostly.

What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Rick arrived mid-arena. He managed to meet up with his friend and de facto second in command, Daryl and found out that one of their other groupmates, Beth, was killed. He's also run into some of the other zombie survivors.

So far as usual activity, he isn't going to be out looking for fights, but he won't hesitate if threatened. Mostly, he just wants to keep his people alive, and any violence toward them will have bloody results.

Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He needs to have a proper reunion with his friends and take some time to be properly angry at being taken away from his family yet again.

I would love for him to make some friends, though it can take some time to develop that sort of trust with him. Negative CR would also be awesome. I want all the stuff and things.

District and/or job: District 11, tribute.
Basic personality: Disco mom Milla can be described as very cheerful, friendly and maternal a good portion of the time. Milla is genuinely as nice as she appears, even with her secret agentness. She's very likely to dote on any character under 18. She's sweet as sugar and easy to talk with. She's also likely to break your arm if you attack her.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Died in week 1 of the space arena. Now that she's back in the Capitol she's just kind of concealing her distress by cooking and parenting her suitemates. In private she's going to be SUPER unhappy and stressed, but will conceal it. She's very unlikely to hold a grudge against anyone who attacked her in arena, since she's breaking it up in a 'mission vrs real life' kind of situation.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: No big oncoming plots tbh. Milla is still gathering information and going to watch arena tapes to see what people can do. Very likely to be working on her combat skills or you know cooking for anyone who looks like they haven't eaten. She's playing herself off as MOM/TEACHER figure, so I'd love to see characters question her abilities/her past a bit-? I'm open to plenty.

Basic personality: A bucket of sass and rainbows hiding someone who is an incredibly intelligent and incredibly lonely man.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: I just apped him in and haven't had a chance to really play with him yet, but he will trapping karkat in a column of fire, and then killing Sheppard in a biotic vs magic battle, oops. good first impression dorian.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: DUDE ANYTHING. I literally just brought him in. Obviously cast CR but cross-canon CR is my favourite, and Dorian is pretty chatty by nature so he's pretty easy to talk to once he's in the tribute tower. If he likes you, he'll tease you, if he doesn't like you, he'll be a bit of an elitist ass, woops. He'll need people to help ground him and figure out wtf is going on, and obviously ANY AND ALL District 7 CR is so, so welcome.

Basic personality: Loud, direct, and obsessed with mayonnaise. He's a big eater with a thirst for adventure.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: He's just had his first Arena, in which he tried to eat Megan (or her magical energy, even if he was terrible at making that clear), accidentally killed Gary, tried to avenge Haruto's death, and he'll be dying soon via chestburster unless someone wants to kill him first. He's also completely accidentally making it look like he's got some sort of relationship going with Haruto, which he will maintain is not a thing why would you even think that.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: CR with other magic users would be awesome (and safe outside the arena without powers being a thing), as would CR with anyone with advice on what to do if the Capitol media has decided that you're in a relationship with your magical rival.

Torin Byrd

Character: Torin Byrd
District and/or job: District 2 Mentor
Basic personality: He's an unfailingly polite, pretty easy to get along with Mentor. He's more compassionate than one might expect an older guy from District 2 to be, and he's not really that into the debauchery of the Capitol. Still, he uses it as best he can in order to keep his Tributes alive.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: He usually hangs around the Tower to make sure he can keep an eye on his Tributes, and he tries to keep his activities low-key and as out of the spotlight as possible. He also spends a lot of time trying to get in good with the Sponsors, because they're the key to making sure his Tributes last as long as possible.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He will basically relentlessly mentor at anyone who looks like they need mentoring, not just District 2 people. Sure, he won't necessarily go out of his way to offer weapons training or anything like that to other Districts, but he'll try his best to offer sage advice and wisdom to those who need it.

Basic personality: Star is from a world that is run by an evil dictator who forces people to fight for other people's entertainment.. and he was one of the best gladiators. He was a very emotionless warrior for most of his life, and then he started to get emotions. And things started getting crazy from that. Star doesn't "get" regular, normal things. You say a phrase that anyone might know, and he will probably take it literally. He doesn't always get jokes, but then you might say something that isn't a joke, and he'll find it hilarious. He'll ask really personal questions about people, and won't be sure why they might be offended by it. He's also become a really sexual person, and if he meets someone attractive for the first time, he might greet them by kissing them.

And he loves TV. Star loves TV as much as he loves his boyfriend... maybe a little bit more, to be honest. This guy watches everything, all the awful reality shows, the old old reruns of old shows from the 1960's, whatever, he'll watch it. He'll watch it all. He's just very exuberant, and dramatic, and questions everything that you wouldn't think needs questioning.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Got into the arena in the second to last week, and all he really did was kill some evil space dogs, and kill Venus. Still need to figure out how he dies...
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Oh god, everything. He was put straight into the arena, so he'll be getting used to the Capitol. But everything here is like back on his homeworld... except slightly better. He could use friends, and will definitely want to make friends with his district mates. And anyone in District 9 will need to get used to his presence because he'll be around there a lot. He still needs to find his boyfriend here, which will be appropriately dramatic for television. Friends! Good looking people to make out with and make his boyfriend jealous! People who will be strong allies in the arena. And negative CR is good, that will always end up happening for him, he can be a little bit too much sometimes.

District and/or job: District 2

Basic personality: Tendency to distrust strangers, but that aside, generally a nice guy with a strong selfless streak when it comes to those he cares about. Easygoing when times are peaceful and a fairly coolheaded leader. Thinks a lot, hurts a lot, and makes a lot of sad puppy faces. The moral compass of his group and sometimes angsts over doing the 'right' thing while making logic-based decisions. Family/friends come first and he'll go great lengths to protect them. He forgets, sometimes, that not everyone is as good at 'moving on' as he appears to be.

What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: The death of his zombros in this first arena of his is shaking his defenses. And that makes him shove down his emotions and attempt to focus on immediate goals that much more. He's a ticking time-bomb esp. considering his canonpoint so he's going to blow one day and it'll be messy. Talking about arenas in general, Luke tries to avoid having to kill anyone. He's always keeping an eye out for his people, making supply runs and being resourceful, and, due to his terrible luck, racking up some serious injuries. Daryl beat the shit out of Luke thinking he killed Beth when he was, in fact, keeping her from turning so that was interesting!

I WILL HAVE IT ALL. Luke wants to a) learn about Clem's adult friends (I know there's a couple of people who expressed interest and I need to thread with when the timing's better and I'm not juggling as much lol I start sweating when I have just five threads going, pfft); b) look into that cure for zombieism the Capitol apparently offers; c) have de-stressing sex some other third thing.

Character: The Ψiioniic ("psionic")
District and/or job:District 9 Tribute
Basic personality: Former slave in cahoots with Troll Jesus Signless, Psii is used to being the asshole best friend. He's crass and mercurial (read: moody), but usually doesn't show either malice or affection unless someone else gives him a reason to do so. He doesn't trust easily, having lived a rough life since he was very small, but he will legit throw his life away protecting every half-pathetic nookeater who asks. He has a problem.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Psii arrived and had a bit of a crisis when he realized he was basically enslaved again. Signless was the only person he knew here. He discovered tacos and alcohol in his few days in the Capitol. He entered arena 12 operating on his usual instincts, avoiding conflict but defending himself with blasts meant to kill. He tends to shelve emotions like panic or worry to make way for logic in tough situations, but it inevitably comes back and bite him in the ass later, usually in the form of nightmares. He aced all the puzzle rooms he came across, and tossed things around with telekinesis while prophesying the manners in which people would die. At the end of the arena, he will convince (or forcibly toss) Signless into the safety bunker, since he will see the final explosion in his visions and know Signless will not die in it.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: My last arena plotting post, in which I'd really love to have more death visions and more fights! I should note that even if someone fights Psii (or many trolls in general) that doesn't necessarily mean Psii won't care whether they die later. Trolls cultivate and protect rivals as well as friends. In Capitol news, I've heard the Tribute Tower is probably still infested with tribbles, and I would like Psii to find one! I also plan to have him appear in various places, manic and sleep-deprived as he pursues various activities to fill the time he'd normally be on a coding binge. If ever you wanted a scarf knitted or equations scrawled on your wall.... Psii is covertly pro-rebellion, being an outlaw under a similarly brutal regime back home. What he lacks in connections here he makes up in cleverness and resourcefulness, though he's inclined to hide his genius hacker skills from those he doesn't trust, which is almost everyone. Right now he's more likely to show someone how to make a shiv.

knitting, you say

Well, I have no idea how to even do a knitting thread but I'd love to do something with these two at some point. They do still have yet to figure out that they're both close to Signless, don't they? Maybe something at the crowning.

Character: Ragnar Lothbrok.
District and/or job: District 10, Tribute.
Basic personality: A warrior through and though, Ragnar is a man of the land and sea, constantly looking for ways to better himself and cement his name in history, to prove his favour with the gods. He is immensely brutal in battle, but protective of those he cares about, politically minded, charismatic, ambitious, patient and perceptive.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Ragnar has just arrived during the last segment of the current arena (which I plan to chuck up an open log for). At the moment he will be getting used to the surroundings, keeping to the shadows and looking for any loot he can pick up to utilise to defend himself. He is completely new to the entire experience and told very little, coming from a time in his canon where his fate is up in the air, he'll be keen to defend himself and make it out alive so he can figure out exactly what is going on.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Once Ragnar wakes up from his defeat at the arena I plan on posting an open log with him so it would be great to meet anyone really! He knows how teamwork can be of use so he would be keen to speak to others from his assigned district as well as anyone who can tell him what is happening and how the world works since it's so different from the one he came from. I'm up for positive or negative CR in anyway since at the moment he knows no one.
