PLAYER PLOT POST

Sometimes we want to plot with our fellow players, but are either too shy to approach them, or we just don't get the chance. This is a place to brainstorm, bounce off ideas, and do anything you'd like, plot wise. Its sole purpose is to foster connection between players. These will be posted once a round. So make a friend! Or an enemy!

As with the HMD, please make sure if you use this post you use it both ways and reply to at least 3 other people.

How this works:

Character: Steve Rogers
District and/or job: District 9 Tribute
Basic personality: Good man with a good heart, just wants to do the right thing. An honest, unintentionally charming gentleman, loyal ally and friend, he'll stand up to any bully he meets and won't back down from his morals.
What has happened to them recently, in and out of the arena, and what can they normally be found doing in the arena: Right now he's learning about all this, but he's not giving up on who he is, always going to people's aid. He fights more to defend himself and others, but isn't actively attacking people. Often found with his allies (Stark, Thor, Natasha, and Bucky).
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I love Cross-canon CR! But I am down for anything right now. Being new, I'm still establishing CR for Steve, so I have open slots for everything. So, it's more do you want some CR with Steve? Because if so, then come to me my lovelies~

Sandy definitely needs to meet him at some point. He's a legend in her world of course even if he's long since gone.

Yes! I would love for these two to meet. It would be very weird for him to meet someone who's from a time that he's actually dead.

I think I'm going to say that her history books only have his personal history up to the point he was shot and killed. It talks about the next Cap after that but no mention he comes back from the dead.

Sounds good to me. I don't think anyone has let it slipped that he's died and come back yet, so that works for me.

I would love something with Cos and Cap - especially negative CR I think. As soon as he sees Steve in action being all heroic I think he'll have the biggest case of hero-worship so having a negative relationship would amuse me. But anything with the two of them would be awesome fun.

Yes! Steve is so unsure of Cos right now, but I definitely feel like it's leaning towards negative CR because of what Cos says his job is and Steve's peeve for bullies.

It would make him so sad! Even while being great for his cover :'c He'll have to do plenty of dickish stuff while Steve is around clearly.

If you have anything in particular you'd like to for him to see Steve do, heroic wise, I'd be happy to set it up or we could have Cos maybe see another thread happen and then we could do a post thread of that thread or something? Or even just see it and fan from a far for a bit or something. I'm down for any of it. ouo

I'm pretty sure just watching clips of Steve around the arena would be enough ~~to make him swoon~~ but on the other hand I do love the idea of a personal encounter where he's fanboying internally while being a jerk. I may ~~continue~~ stalking and if there's anything that seems particularly heroic have him watching from afar with potential for a confrontation over the spying?

Sure! Would Steve go to Elsa's ice fortress? (I notice the time period is set for during Hell-rena) Clem will be chilling there a little bit after Thor saves her before reuniting with her group :D

I can also set it for post hell-rena. He might run across her ice fortress, but idk about going into it, but I could make it work that he's looking for Bucky and wants to check (Steve just has a thing about ice...).

Oh hmmm... how about Clem lingering outside it, possibly contemplating setting off to find her group and Steve can dad like noooo stay here safe! (oh yes poor Steve D:)

Both my guys need CR with him once he's out of the arena. He and Eliot can talk army and special ops stuff. Kevin needs someone who'll have the patience to help him learn to at least fake being normal.

Both of these sound amazing! yes, once he's out of the arena, we'll definitely have to set something up for both of these CRs.

And yeah, Steve would be patient enough for that. Though being normal, fake or not, is hard.

I gotta wonder if when they get back out of the arena if the Capitol will be rerunning those exposes. Albert's made him look like a Nazi so the fallout between him and Mr. "punched out Hitler over 200 times" could be entertaining. (Especially since Albert was not a Nazi gdit)

ooo that would be interesting. Steve might jump to a conclusion at first for sure, but he's reasonable enough that he would be able to come around to accepting that the capitol was stretching the truth a lot. At least if Albert tried to communicate they were falsehoods.

Considering he was 12 when the war ended, it shouldn't be that hard lol. Then they can have old man bonding or something XD

I'll ask the mods if they're being rerun so Steve would see the exposé.

I will! And that would be awesome. Albert doesn't get to converse in his own language much these days. He knows French and Russian too, and his French has gotten a workout with all these Les Mis characters

Eva is Steve's Mentor! She's going to roll her eyes a lot as his iron will. And probably flirt with him in her older lady way. (Victory, meanwhile, will outright throw herself at him).

Up for finding out about rebellious shenanigans through Venus, too?
