Arena Plotting

WHO WANTS BUGSPRAY????

So just so everyone knows, I've got a decent amount of credits to spare and I am totally willing to buy a can of bugspray while they're cheap for anyone who wants the ability to hilariously murder some trolls later because bugspray works on all insects INCLUDING TROLLS.

Going to be putting up a log soon to get started/done some of the things planned. Should be this week, in the next few days.

Might possibly be killing Ian and Shion?? That's up in the air, still need to do some talking over.

Karkat, Susannah, and Shaggy

Hi. I've been a bit bad about keeping up this last week but I'm working on balancing things better for next. In the mean time...

Karkat is teamed up with Signless this time and they're mostly hunting bugs which they've been supplementing with canned goods and the very rare dog and hiding out in abandoned houses. They have not yet started to feel the effects of the bugs but that will probably change in weeks to come once they run out of cans. These bugs, however, can only be semi-safely eaten by trolls. Humans will die if they eat them, as they found out by accident when they shared food with Joly.

They're still willing to share food as far as I know. (And if people ever did want to die by supper as Joly did, Ink and I could probably work out something?)

Susannah got hit on the head with a brick and is in a delirium still, at least at the start of the week. Donatello is taking care of her.

Shaggy is just kind of wandering around like a doof and will probably be feeling the effects of the local food soon because wow did he eat a lot of fruit from the trees. He's open for any and all random encounters.

Mostly just continuing the other stuff from the last plot post:

R's - going to probably stumble up to Guy soon in Week 2 and I'm hoping to kill him off by Ellie beginning of Week 3? After that he'll be dead (for reals) and dropped. Maybe Topher can run into a tussel with R once he's hungry.

Alex Murphy - Running at some point into Shaggy and giving him food? I can do a parachute and have him end up going MAN and sadly watching Shaggy inhale it.

I think mostly that's it because Punchy is week 1 backdated? Other than that, I'm open to Alex traveling to explore, try to help other tributes. He'll only kill in self defense and he barely knows how to work his cyborg body, so it's not like he'll be The Most Effective.

Need a random murderer?

Rat is available for anyone needing someone dead. He has a crowbar for something messy, or a knife for quicker and cleaner. He'd mercy kill or just straight up murder someone if they were in his way.

Clara Murphy

I really don't have much planned for Clara other than ongoing awkward married life in the Arena with Alex.

I'd love to have her exploring the area on her own for a bit and possibly running into some of the people she met in the Capitol (especially Tony before he bites it if his death roll isn't bought out). I figure this'll also give her a good excuse to either be injured (or come across someone who already is) so she has an excuse to meet Hawkeye.

Other than that, I'm open to just about anything!

Nasir

Nasir is teaming up with Gannicus and they're both going to try and kill people. I can have Nasir split up as needed, seeing as now that he wasn't expecting Gannicus and is hopeful that his boyfriend might be here too. So he'll be looking for him.

If you're not his boyfriend and you're not Gannicus, he's probably going to try to kill you. So if you want a fight/to have your characters murdered, do hit me up.

As for plans I think the only solid thing I have is Venus will run into Gannicus and Nasir. And maybe Felicity too, with Nasir actually stepping in to protect her, which is probably going to be the one time that happens in this arena.

Max and Topher

Max is checking on the French Boys and Sandy once Pruna's face hits the sky. Always open to saving people or killing people. Come on, who doesn't want a tiny 12 year old girl to be their knight in shining armor or to humiliate them with death?


Topher is about to have a string of horrible luck as the Capitol tries to kill him off to get him back in the Capitol. If you want in on this action let me know! His future (accidental) death is already in Spike's hands.

Thane & Charles

Thane is going to start making appearances. He spent his first week enjoying that he could hide in the fog and shadows. He got a good feel for the Arena.

This is the week of fights and scraps and GETTING into it for him. He really wants to get into fights with people...

and if anyone is up for being gloriously murdered by an assassin (even not this week, but in future weeks!), I am happy to do so. He's not into the torture scene, so he's glad to make the actual DEATH part fast (neck snap, and now that he has a knife, he's GLAD to use that knife). Although getting into an awesome fight leading up to that would be great. :3


Charles is a really unhappy camper and not dealing well with it. His jacket is gone, he has a large bump on his head... and he's pretty well not allied-up. So if anyone wants to let a depowered mutant hang out with you, he'd like it. :] He's not likely to forget it.

No major plans with him, though!

First - wow ! With all of these gifts, Eponine is going to be quite certain that it's her birthday! I don't think she's ever had so many presents all at once!

So Orc is feeling a little more zen this arena but the party is just getting started and thanks to the abundance of monsters he is just as vulnerable as the rest of you.

He's doing his best to protect anyone he knows, especially Eponine (Spoilers: She dies anyway lol)

So who wants to meet up with rocky and chat, fight or something else?

Cassandra "Sandy" Marko

Sandy's gonna be shaken up by losing Pruna so early in the arena. Thankfully she did alot of training and working out before this arena so she'll still be functional.

She still doesn't want to kill unless it's in self defense, but she will steal whatever she can get her hands on if she doesn't know you personally.

She is also clutching that Axe like it's a lifeline, and what's creepier then a little girl carrying an Axe in a small town like this?

Anyway, if anyone wants to meet with her, have her try to steal from them or something let's do some plotting. She'll be in relatively close proximity to Shepard, but she's been known to wander foolishly.

Here's the new girl, fresh from the miserably cold weather of Berk to the miserably cold (And sometimes hellishly hot) arena.

She's got no supplies and the only weapon she's scrounged for herself is a piece of fencepost that she is woefully unprepared to use.

She's eaten a little but that's obviously not going to help much.

So...who wants to meet up with a cranky, hungry Viking girl who's utterly out of her element? She's been wandering all over the arena trying to find something or someone familiar to her but the closest she's come is meeting a dragon.

Looking to get into a fight, gain an ally, help her out with setting up traps or getting caught in one? Thus far Sonja has been focusing largely on a policy of defense. She knows that there are bound to be killers lurking out and about. And so is preparing for first contact with one.

Roland Deschain

For plot reasons, Roland's got to die this week - anyone want to participate?

By that I mean either kill him or stand by and laugh/try to help/whatever while he dies some other way. Anyone who's nearby when he goes has a chance of getting 1 can of bugspray, 1 first aid kit, 1 swiss army knife, a screwdriver, and an extension cord that he's been using as a lasso.

Anyone want to throw some ideas at me as to how he could go? I've been thinking of having him fall from high up or get run over by something, because those are how someone close to him in his canon died and that would stir up some guilt issues. And something embarrassing would work fine too. However, Roland's supposed to be really good at fighting with or without weapons so I'm wary of having him die in normal combat with someone.

I'm also happy for him to end up killing someone before/during his own death, so if anyone wants that hit me up.

Also, if Starkiller, Don, or Clem muns are reading this, I know we said they and Roland could meet some time. I may make an open post for Roland before It Happens, but if we don't get to I'd love to work something out after the arena. Or just wait until another opportunity happens? So. Yeah. I wasn't sure about the etiquette on letting you guys know.

Her time so far:
- Found Ellie and teamed up with her, searching for supplies and avoiding other people and monsters
- Dropped a brick on Susannah's head when she was stuck in a house and thought Susannah would be hostile stole apples, regretted apples
- She and Ellie will have met up with Joel and Riley at the end of the week and formed awesome zombie survival family

Looking for:
- friend encounters
- threat encounters, non-lethal as I'm looking for Clem to make it to at least week 3 but injuries are fine
- any other ideas you might have are welcome!

She'll also be attempting to make her own bow and arrows as Roland taught her how

Fíli's still looking for his brother and it's starting to get to him that he hasn't found him yet. He's pretty much convinced he's lying somewhere bleeding out from some injury or starving or something. He's also feeling a little groggy because he's been ingesting some of the local food and water - it was all he had access to, aside from a bottle of water he got at the cornucopia and a bit of canned food he found when raiding some buildings. So that combination makes for a pretty stressed dwarf.

What I'm up for:
- Fights! Although Fíli's not going to start fights or attack anyone out of nowhere, if he's pushed into it or attacked first then he'll fight. He's pretty strong even with the effects of the food and water, but I'm totally up for him getting some minor injuries (or inflicting them if you want).
- Friendly encounters! Always up for these, especially if your character needs help in any way (tending to injuries, or needs food/water/weapons, etc.), but also someone for him to just hide somewhere with.
- ... anything else you want, honestly, so just drop me a line!

Enjolras (Les Mis) & Garak (DS9)

Enjolras and the rest of Les Amis are going to be holing up in the shoe store as soon as we get a log set up for it. They have a ton of supplies, and some pretty fierce allies (Venus & Max). They'll be attempting the barricade strategy again, since that tends to work out pretty well for them. Oh! And they have two doctors (Joly & Combeferre), at least for the moment, so if people need patching up, they might be a good group to try and find.

I can't speak for anyone else in the collective, but I'm open to a fight or two. Enjolras isn't going to be looking for trouble, but he's kind of done with the pacifist thing for a while. He'll attack if attacked and not make too many bones about it.

Garak has made contact with Spike, Bashir, and Natasha. He's hiding during the nights, and walking around like the sun and heat don't bother him during the day... Because, well, they don't. He's eventually going to kill Julian after they figure out their shipteasing angle, but other than that my plans for him are pretty nonexistent. He's willing to kill or injure anyone so. There's that.

Hey everyone! Putting this up for Vriska for those who want to stuff with her. Trying to get her out there to get more cross-canon CR so I'm open to all and everything!

The things I know I want to happen at some point are Vriska fighting huge spiders, stealing all the district 8 jackets/patches as humanly possible cause she's super biter about not being in d8 so this is like her giving the Capital the middle finger (Also help getting her more cross-canon cr), and her wondering into the amusement park either stalking someone possibly Shaggy for revenge for her eye. Also I realized that she wouldn't have her red shoes so.... maybe shanking a bitch to fix that.

Still trying to think about how ot have her die. I know I want it to be embarrassingly stupid and she will be mad about it forever.

rock lee & jack frost RIP BUNNY

so jack frost is still going to be hiding and barely surviving off of things he's been picking up. if it's okay with bunny's mun i really want him to be around bunny, especially if he's going to be on the death toll because i really like torturing my characters okay i swear i'm stable.

i still haven't had him interact much with anyone (I HAVE BEEN SICK LATELY ughe but i think i'm better!) so yes LET'S DO SOMETHING.

rock lee has been hurt and he's trying to survive/in the process of trying to feel better. i don't have all that much cr for him so if you need some new cr too i say let's try something! hopefully you don't mind a rather noisy ninja who talks about his teacher 24/7

I'm wide open for plotting with Kain! He's going to be keeping mostly to himself at first, but that doesn't mean he can't run into someone for a random alliance... or a random fight if it comes to it. Maybe taking on some of those spiders or other creatures together? Anything goes!

Had a slow week due to moving, but now that it's all over with I'm ready to throw her at some folks.

I'm tentatively considering the idea of getting her killed off towards the end of week 2. Waiting to hear back on it from a couple of close CR, so this would be the WEEK to do things if anyone wants an encounter before she's out.
