may the odds be ever in your favor

Hi guys! Unsurprisingly, it's Lisa, apping yet another Faulkner character. This one is Temple Drake, the protagonist of Sanctuary and Requiem for a Nun as a Panem AU. Temple, with her score of 2, won the most distasteful Hunger Games ever and has spent the last few years out in District Six with her husband, a wealthy Capitolite who was once her Escort. Temple's flighty, self-absorbed, promiscuous and very...Capitol, despite being a Mentor from the Districts, and she's not all that happy to be back Mentoring. She's going to give it the old college try, though!

Temple app is here - please be warned that it mentions sexual assault and dead infants. Temple a character with a pretty triggery history, so I have an opt-out for her here, although of course I won't introduce triggering subject matter to a thread without asking first.

I'm available to plot at [plurk.com profile] hotpinkcoffee and would love to hash out former Capitolite CR as well as Mentee CR with her brood of D8ers!
itscalledfashion: (:P)

Hey everyone! Ema here, having brought you such dumbasses as Revas Tabris and babes as Rochelle, I'm here with D7's new Capitolite Stylist!

His name is Cassian Bouchard and he loves color and patterns and he's going to have a lot of fun dressing everyone up and chatting their ears off. He's super socialite Capitolite who indulges in every vice that you shouldn't indulge in so let me know if mentions of drugs or alcohol bother you!

If Capitolites or mentors want any assumed CR feel free to hit me up over plurk to discuss it O: (here: [plurk.com profile] arlathvhen) Cassian doesn't have much taste for bidding aside from like....having mentors come to tea parties and have to nod along while he shit talks and talks about the latest fashions, can you BELIEVE someone is trying to bring back plaid, UGH. But he loves anything trendy, and he is a total social climber so he'll be rubbing elbows with anyone that can help him get higher on the food chain.

So yeah, yo! I hope you like my little noob.

HI GUYS, this is Jo (Anna, Porrim, Oceana) here with a fourth character, Ransom Averell. She is District 1's mentor, fresh back in the capitol thanks to the fact that nobody else wanted to be here. Nice. She was a Career from D1 whose games were about 18 years ago, when she was 15, and she won mainly by being clever and good at tracking/manipulating others into fighting it out. Since then she's been enjoying the good life back in 1, but now she's ready to move on to something better and more important than maxing poolside. She will be implementing some Very Strict Training regiments, D1ers, so be prepared for your Tributes to be whipped into shape!

As always, you can reach me on aim @ salacities or on plurk @ gothbless! Also, please feel free to comment here if you'd like to work out pre-existing CR with Averell, if your character has been around long enough to know who she is or even know her from back in the day.
08:30 pm - HI DISTRICT FOUR
sociopathicwolf: (sizing you up)
This is Bri here, Sam Wilson's player, adding to the train of new characters by bringing in this Panem AU! This is Derek Souza from Kelley Armstrong's Darkest Powers trilogy. In canon he was an angry teenage werewolf who was the result of a genetic experimentation project that messed around with supernatural babies.

But here, he is a mentor for District Four! He won his games when he was 15, and is known for brutually hunting down and slaughtering his fellow Tributes in an animalistic fashion, resulting in his nickname of the Wolf. His vocal chords were also damaged during his games (which took place in a mad scientist lab), so he doesn't talk much, and tends to respond with grunts or growls.

He mentored for a year or two after his games and then retreated back to District 4 once the new Tributes came, because screw those off worlder guys. But now he's back, and he totally wants to be here! He doesn't want to be here. At all.

His bff/handler/wolf tamer is Chuck Hansen, and they'll probably be tag-teaming Four's tributes with their asshole mentor methods very soon.

If anyone wants previous CR with Capitolite characters, I'd love to work things out! I'm looking forward to throwing him at all of you. (His app is here if anyone's interested, and my plurk is [plurk.com profile] brbsoulnomming!)

Hey there party people! Alyssa here, player of that one bird guy that really loves arrows, bringing in a new Panem AU character to this here game! Meet Chuck Hansen from that one indie movie nobody saw about robots punching giant monsters. AKA: Pacific Rim! In Canon, Chuck's an angry Aussie with way too many chips on his shoulders that pilots a giant robot with his daddy.

He has a lot of daddy issues.

Here, Chuck's a mentor from District 4, and he's here to win it all. No, no he's not. He won his game when he was 14, and is known for slaughtering an inordinate amount of 'kaiju' mutts, and also getting impatient and hunting down the last few tributes left in his game. He kind of tripped the last guy into acid blood and then tossed him off a building to win, whoops. He's also kind of known as "Striker Eureka" because of a throw away comment the Capitol never let die, so that might be a thing.

But mostly, Chuck did his mentor thing for a few years, and then fucked off back to D4 because these new off-worlder guys were lame. He's back now though, fashionably late as ever, so, HAVE FUN GUYS.

And copying Bri here, but Chuck's best friend evaaaaar is Derek Souza, that one weird wolf guy, so be prepared for double teaming from these two jerks, D4. They're coming for you. /points at eyes, points at you.

For Capitolites, if you want some previous cr, feel free to hit me up, I'd love to work things out! You can get a hold of me my pm this journal, or by hitting me up over on plurk at: [plurk.com profile] screeches! But yes, I'm really very excited to throw this guy all y'all's way, so!!!!

Hi guys! Hannah here, player of Arya Stark ([personal profile] needlebearer) and Emily Finch ([personal profile] conifer), bringing in my third character. This is Lilah Cadash, also known as the Herald of Andraste, the Inquisitor, from Dragon Age: Inquisition. She's a dwarf, and is about 4'5'' tall. She's in District 12 with a score of 7, and she'll be coming straight into the Arena, a few days after the Cornucopia. As always I'm on plurk at [plurk.com profile] viridianwings, and I'd love to plot things out, especially for castmates! Lilah's app is here if you want to find out more about her.

Hi there, everybody! It's Lampy again, the person behind Haruto Soma and Felicity Yoshida here with yet another character from a tokusatsu show! This is Miss Gritta, a sweet young lady who just happens to be 7 feet tall, rather wide, and purple. Though part of her series's troupe of villains, she's not particularly malicious or evil, and mostly just wants to have some tea and keep a close eye on the Emperor of Darkness. At least she'll be able to do the latter here, so that's... that's something. (Someone needs to keep him from trailing so much glitter all over the place....)

She's in District 7, and she has managed an impressive score of 4! I look forward to throwing her at as many of you guys as possible! She'll be going right into the arena once everything's set up. Oh yeah, and if you want to talk plot or whatever else, I'm available on Plurk as [plurk.com profile] lampdevil!
