HI GUYS, this is Jo (Anna, Porrim, Oceana) here with a fourth character, Ransom Averell. She is District 1's mentor, fresh back in the capitol thanks to the fact that nobody else wanted to be here. Nice. She was a Career from D1 whose games were about 18 years ago, when she was 15, and she won mainly by being clever and good at tracking/manipulating others into fighting it out. Since then she's been enjoying the good life back in 1, but now she's ready to move on to something better and more important than maxing poolside. She will be implementing some Very Strict Training regiments, D1ers, so be prepared for your Tributes to be whipped into shape!

Those life choices? So terrible. She probably would have seen him either very successfully and diligently fielding for sponsors, or getting smash-drunk or overdosing at parties in the past, and she won her Games before him so she would have seen the whole train wreck from the moment it left the station.

And yes, I would love CR with Torin as well!! Is he old enough that he would have been around during Ransom's Games or would have heard of her?

Threats! That can actually be carried out on him! Zed is horribly unused to such things and will get so pissy so fast. If he's lucky, some CR will be able to talk him out of raising such a fuss...

Torin won his Games 30-something years ago, so he would definitely have been around then and heard of her. He's a pretty chill dude, and he's usually pretty polite to the other Mentors and will gently try to dad at the younger ones.

Oh, Zed. This is going to be an Experience, isn't it.

And awesome! I'm glad he was around, then. Ransom will probably be polite toward him, too, even if she's not so great at the interpersonal skills at times, so his dadding will be met with Much Awkward.

Such an Experience for everyone involved, pretty much.

Torin is pretty aware that most of the Mentors have issues, and as such, just kind of tries to smooth over interpersonal problems as best he can.

hello fellow mentor who's back because no one else wants to be here.

Derek here won his games when he was 15, too, which was about 6 years ago! So she was probably a mentor during his games, oops. He sort of slaughtered one of District 1's Tributes while their guard was down because they assumed they had an alliance with him, and killed the other one in the finale when it was just her and him left.

I can't imagine Temple and Ransom's CR would be very positive, but I would love to figure out some pre-existing Mentor stuff with them! Temple's method of training seems to be the complete opposite of Ransom's, since she's more like...forget teaching you how to fight, let me just splurge on Sponsor gifts for you from my rich hubby.
