Hi, I'm Kirk, and I never know what to say in these things. I'm new, I'm attached romantically to the evil mastermind behind Kevin (and in the same house no less, so if you can't reach one of us, you can try the other), and I look forward to being here with you horrible people. (Don't look at me, I was under the impression this was like "Horrible People: The Game(s)".)

I try to crack a lot of jokes. Gomen gomen, maybe I should have apped the Joker (no not actually, never that).

So here I am bringing you Edward Nygma, in the flavor of the DCnU/New 52 that everyone who reads it pretty consistently loves or hates. Riddler has always been my favorite Rogue since childhood, but I never got into the comics because 1) money and 2) catching up to a media that has more than half a century of material is a lot to ask of a person. The new stuff has only about three years of history. Much easier to consume.

Anyone who doesn't will be assumed as a "No, I would not like Eddie peeking around for weaknesses from past arenas or whatnot." edit: oh yes, Eddie is District 6, which I hear is where they put all the nut jobs, which is appropriate, so. Yeah. Also it's funny because Vin and I share a living space and now so do our characters.

Hello guys. This is Garshil, player of Nasir our favorite little ex-slave turned bloodthirsty Roman (and now Tribute) killer, bringing in Sirius Black from Harry Potter. He's 22, taken from when he was hiding and pretending to be the Potters' Secret Keeper (but before James and Lily died). Sirius is a brave, loyal person who can be very nice, funny, and protective (especially of kids) but has a mean streak. He's also going to be a pacifist in these games (unless convinced otherwise) because fighting Death Eaters is totally different than killing people forced into this situation just for sport.

On that note, I'm looking for someone to kill him. If your character is the type to kill an unarmed man, please do let me know and we can make this happen. Since Sirius has no idea what's going on and that these people are (more or less) as innocent as he is, this is the one time he'll actually fight back (and not succeed at all).

For content warning, Sirius might end up being an alcoholic after all this stress but if that happens and comes up in posts, appropriate warnings will go up.

Hello everyone! I'll be adding this bundle of fun to the fray. I currently play Vriska Serket here as well so it'll be nice to play someone a little more friendly, haha. By a little I mean he'll talk your ear off if you let him. For those who don't know Mordin he is from the video game Mass Effect. He belongs to a race called the Salarians who are warmed-blooded amphibians. They talk fast, think fast, and move fast. And Mordin is the perfect example of his people. He will be housed in District 12 after he gets out of this arena so hello new district mates! Are you ready for him? I hope so.

Hi! I'm HK, new here, and bringing the freshest of fresh meat,  onto the intro-train, the hard core cold blooded killer, Dr Dennett Norton. (Here is his app for some infos) 

Okay, fine. He's really the exact opposite of a hard core cold blooded anything. Just look at this face. This is a soft, middle aged nerd, the kind of guy who stands almost NO chance of survival in the Arena, unless he's very, very, astronomically lucky. Which means I'm hoping we can at least make sure he dies in interesting and terrible ways. (Which is where you come in.)  OR of course, he could somehow manage to kill someone else and then feel terrible about that. He is handy with a scalpel, if nothing else.

I'm KJ (Charles & Thane) bringing in someone everyone knows and wants to punch in the teeth loves.

Loki Laufeyson is being brought from Marvel 616, and the most recent issue of Agent of Asgard. He's from mid #5 of the series so he doesn't know the awful things he's going to do.

He's working to reform his bad ways (it's very difficult, and he's not THAT good at it).

Oh, and while I'm at it, he has the body of someone...much younger than he is (which is way, way old).

He died being a "hero", reincarnated into a child, then tricked Billy into aging him up.

Guess you can't teach mischief new tricks. ;)

Oh! He is very with it on modern technology, world hopping, and modern stories -- so he'll be relatively unphased by everything.

RIVALRY, AHOY!

This is Sar, otherwise known as the mundane behind everyone's favorite hypochrondriac, Joly, and this is Character #2! Siroc comes from a cheesy little action adventure series known as Young Blades, which aired on the Pax channel a good...eight or nine years ago. It's not to be confused with the Hugh Dancy movie, though I'm gonna bet the production values on that were a whole LOT better.

Young Blades acts as a loose sequel of sorts to the d'Artagnan Romances, featuring d'Artagan's son, a not at all believable lady musketeer masquerading as a boy, a passionate poet, and a genius inventor. A very loose sequel with references to modern technology, pop culture jokes, and everything else. It patently refuses to take itself seriously, and is altogether a pretty amazing little show. Siroc, here, is the gang's aforementioned inventor, and his inventions and discoveries have included: a flying machine, a submarine, cubic zirconia jewelry, plans for a prototype machine gun designed by daVinci, and, pretty disturbingly, a watermelon bomb. No, seriously. Several of these inventions have backfired in amazing ways. For some reason, they also let him be the one to do autopsies, so he's pretty well versed in the human body, and on ways to hurt people badly should he need to do it.

Siroc himself is a little hard to approach at first, but, once he's warmed up to you, is friendly enough, with a wry sense of humor who is willing to teach and learn from as many people and sources of knowledge as he can. He's a musketeer cadet in the grand fictional tradition where most of them fight with blades, as opposed to the actual historical variety involving muskets.

After this arena, he'll be hoping into District 8, and I'm really looking forward to getting him out and about. Additional information can be found over at his journal, though there IS a trigger warning for slavery and implied violence. Other than that, I can hardly wait to get him into the arena, and for him to start making friends!

Heya folks! I’m Amit, and I’m all kinds of new to this community (and absolutely terrible at this introduce yourself thing.) I’m bringing in Helena Wayne from DC Comics’ Worlds’ Finest comic series. This version of Helena is taken from the issues exploring the adult Helena’s backstory - back when she was a teenager and going by the codename Robin. Helena’s about fifteen or sixteen years old, a scrappy street brawler with a lot of heart and a good shot of idealism who wants nothing more to live up to the legacies of her parents - Batman and Catwoman (who was heroic in Helena’s world. Well. At least by the time she married Batman.)
