gamemakers: (announcement.)
Two smallish mod notes, just so y'all know:

The mods have decided if a character was a Tribute who applied for citizenship, and are then dropped, that player can reapp them from their dropped status (as a pseudo citizen) and not have to start again as Tribute. Another player can't take over that spot from them, however.

Also, withing reason, we are going to be using handwave logic regarding Mentors and what years they play the game.

For example, Enobaria was year 62. The chances we are going to get an Enobaria are fairly slim, so we will not be blocking a mentor from apping to year 62 mentor slot. And if an Enobaria does apply we will just use the same sorta handwavey ignore it logic that gets used in rp all the time.

The same if two players made Mentors end up the same year. Try your hardest to find an original year (and we will have a working list up soon) but we are going to treat it as a "shhhh don't think to hard about it" type issues, not as a "you can't app that" type issue if we have a little overlap, especially in regards to character who can't switch years (For example, I have a mentor app in mind who needs to be a newer mentor, so would need a newer year, and couldn't just be assigned a later year. That sort of thing.)

This doesn't mean that two people would have won the 62nd game. It is employing the same kind of handwaving rp logic as "My intro log has 5 things happening at the same time" and "my character is a huge Harry Potter fan but the Harry Potter-mun doesn't want 4th walled so they don't know who Harry potter is."

The only years this is not true with are going to be the 50th, 74th, and 75th, for obvious reasons.

Also, just a general plot check in: Capitol plots will be happening this weekend. Arena plot part 2 will either go up today/tomorrow, or the start of next week.

Hellooooo, dearies~!

Lynny [Redglare player] here to happily introduce my second character! This is Adelaide from the webcomic 'Hanna is Not a Boy's Name', AU'd as a former Hunger Games victor and now a D1 mentor! I would say I'm sorry to the poor tributes but I'm really not.

For those unfamiliar with her canon, Adelaide is a sassy bat vampire who pissed off some other vampires and was trapped in bat form for a couple months and terrorized a young uptight graphic artist named Conrad in his apartment. Our titular hero Hanna was hired to get her out of the place and she got him to use ~the rune majicks~ to get her back to normal. Then she punched out his zombie friend, tore his arm off and made a meal of poor Conrad , who then got turned into a vampire by Hanna to save his life. Then she's gone for a while and then pops up again in the backseat of a car while being hunted by a vampire hunter, there was a chase and an accident and then the comic never updated again. :[

BUT here in Panem she's a District 1 past victor/current mentor with some fabulous fangs, a pet fatty bat and a complete disregard for personal space. She became pretty famous in her day for delivering the first kill of her Games by tearing out the throat of another tribute and then won her games by beating her district partner to death with a hammer. The Capitol media just loves to compare her to Enobaria and I'm still not sure if she's more amused or annoyed by it.

If you want to know more about her AU, her app is here and my plurk is if you feel like friending me! For Capitol peeps/other mentors, I am completely open to past CR so don't be afraid to ping me!

I'll be posting some sort of IC intro for Adelaide after I get back from rehearsal tonight!

 Hey guys!

This is Gaila and Glinda-mun bringing in her first Capitolian. This is Pasha Andyrenia Chekov. She is a genderbent!au of Star Trek XI's Pavel Chekov. But obviously this version was born and raised in the Captiol. She was a child prodigy with mathematics, was rushed through schooling and now at the tender age of just eighteen is opening her own shop. Pasha owns SuperNova, an oddities shop that specialises in space or star related things and a peculiar knicknack or two. If you can think of something weird enough, it's probably in her shop.

It is worth noting that like her canon counterpart she does mix up her vs and ws, if you would prefer me not to use this in replies to your character just lemme know here or through PM.

Her app is here if you want to read it and you can catch me on plurk at pantiestealer  if you want to plot any stuff out.

Her IC intro will be up soon.
