So we've gotten a few...complaints is a strong word, but mentions that people are not tagging out enough, and focusing on only making top level comments.

And a post full of all top level comments and few replies is no fun.

So we decided to up the points for replying to a top-level thread in a group post (AKA someone else's thread) to 10 instead of 5. And if that person is new cr that means one reply can get you over half way to AC with 35 points.

So go tag around guys.

Also, a reminder we are getting near the character cap for Tributes. We are sorta holding steady around the last 12, but if you're sitting on apping, or know someone who is, go for it. This ONLY applies to Tribute, Capitol citizens (OC, AUs, and Hunger Games canon characters) are all open indefinably.

Has there ever been any thought given to rewarding completed threads?

We will consider that, but that one seems a lot harder to make defined rules about (for example, does a finished thread that last 5 comments count as much as a finished thread that lasted 132?)

Could you do something like you do with thread lengths now where you get more points for a longer finished thread than for a shorter one?

This is a good idea, definitely! Just to be sure, this ONLY counts for replying to a top level comment in a group post; does it also count if you're not the one who replies to the top level comment but you're part of a thread with more than two people involved. So say A makes a comment, B replies, then C replies to B. Does C also get 10, or just the usual 5?

Oh! And if you reply to a group post, do you get the 5 for replying to another character's post/a mod post in addition to the 10 for every top-level you reply to, meaning for responding to one reply to a top-level comment on a group post you'd get a total of fifteen credits?

it seems fair that anyone replying to the thread get the points.

and so, if I'm understanding right you mean if the is a party post, and signless makes a thread chilling in the bathroom, and then replied to Lottie's thread assumedly not in the boy bathroom then yes that would count for 10 and 5 points respectively. but if you mean does that one reply get the 15 comments, then no. But if it was a new cr, it would get you 35 points.

Right, yes! So the top level comment you make is what gets you the 5 for responding to the post, and any reply to other top levels is its own ten. Just replying to someone else's top level doesn't count as replying directly the post, is what I'm getting, which makes sense. Thanks!
