Random bits

Some small bits and pieces. Some of these are buried in info, but they've just come up more than once lately so we wanted to just do some reminders, plus an announcement about new NPC system for escorts/stylists.

Privacy

There isn't really any privacy in or outside of the arena. The Speak Easy is the only location to guarantee privacy, and of course quiet conversations in public places are hard to follow and more likely to stay private.  But in the training center and especially in the arena nothing is private.

Communication in foreign languages can work. Any language common now (English, French, German, Russian, Mandarin, etc) and Latin are not going to pass, but ancient, uncommon, and alien languages will pass fine. (And as commented, before I realized I'd posted this wrong, tactile sign language in obscured areas.)


Mutts, etc.

Any mutt/arena trick/etc in an arena you are more than welcome to use unless it says to contact mods (in which case we will let you know what's being triggered within). We generally will not be NPCing the mutts, etc unless we decided to hit you with a random death. So, for example, if you have a thread set in Small World, don't feel the need to wait for us to NPC the little mutant freaks. 

You can also always volunteer to die, even if you are not rolled, at any time. 

NPCs

We have the create an NPC situation set up!

There might be some bumps as we feel this out. But go for it.

Also, a reminder... these character have ALWAYS been here. Every character has an escort, stylist, and most likely several mentors. Also, career districts intentionally have more than normal (However your character would likely only interact with one.)

There was a confusion about random deaths. These will now be commencing. So, keep in mind. Not being rolled doesn't make you safe for the week.
