So the damage from the attack of "Rebels"-

The roof is gone as a place to hang out, currently. There was clearly an explosion up there, to get people into the building. As well, District 12's floor has been pretty heavily damaged, and clearly some fighting took place there. Some rooms on the floors not occupied were also ransacked.

12's suite will be put together again in about a week, the roof will be operational in about a month. In addition, smoke damage, bullet holes, and some disturbing dark red splashes can be found for a day or two as they are cleaned up.

In addition, Andrea Norton was killed in the attack, although she is the only non-rebellion casualty.

A porpo with Peeta Mellark is looping on a fairly regular basis, as well as film of the attack, a very, very old looking helicarrier bringing in a group of roughed up looking rebels, faces and heads covered can be seen, before everyone vanishes into the building. The helicarrier is shot down easily. The Capitol reports they are in the process of attempting to identify the Rebels.

ALSO THE CURFEW IS NOW OVER.

Query: If Eva were to try and subtly get information on the identity-search of the rebels without actually giving away that she's doing so, where would she go? I don't want her to actually find anything, but since in her heart she's always keeping her eyes out for her kid, it'd be IC for her to quietly dig. And probably would tie into my next open log with her.

So the best place for her to poke around would probably be Peacekeepers. They won't tell but they would be the only people she could really prod out without prodding in the wrong place.

Will the District 12 folks be staying somewhere else temporarily?

They're rooms are still manageable, it's just a big mess. So they might want to not be there.

Question! Would it be possible for a Tribute to go poking around, maybe not on the roof, but near it? Close enough to see some of the damage? Or would all the stairways and elevators be blocked off?

If not, then how about the rooms on unoccupied floors?

The roof would just be locked off, but all the other floors they could.

In addition, if he talked up the right person, he might be able to see it from a distances from another building, it's not the only tall one in the area. He would see people working, burn marks, and superficial damage in what wasn't covered with construction tarps.
