For the first time, you're all about to get a taste of what the true Hunger Games are like. Since the quell began, there have been a lot of new and interesting events and showings to match that of the Capitol's new guests. But now, for the fifteenth arena of the seventy fifth quater quell, it's time to call back to the roots of the Games to remind our Tributes and us all what these Games really mean.

For the first time in the quell, all of you Tributes will be participating in the pre-arena chariot rides, hearing President Snow's speech, sitting down for the Caesar Flickerman show, and witnessing a very special surprise that may change how you view this next arena.

You will learn more about your Districts than you've gotten to thus far, and moreover, you will show how YOU as a Tribute, have come to represent your chosen District, as a person, the District's service, and the District's key trait and value. Key values are as follows:

5 ~ Power ~ Strength

10 ~ Livestock ~ Compliance
11 ~ Agriculture ~ Service
12 ~ Mining ~ Obedience
You will all ride out upon matching chariots for the Tribute Parade, Panem's anthem playing loud and fans screaming louder. This is your first chance to make a statement to sponsors. Rumors have it that there will be a later voting poll where the winning District or Districts will recieve special reward. Voting will be based of a rubric of:

-Most exemplary of District
-Best Tribute performance (putting on a good show)
-Best outfit
-Best in Parade
And of course, there will be a prize not only to the Tributes but to the District itself!


Escorts, it will be your job to make sure your Tributes are appealing to Capitol audiences You will need to help them prepare for this glorious event. Mentors, you will need to use your experience to help in ways just the same, both working to get you sponsors and give you the best chance in arena. Stylists, of course, will be responsible for the outfits made and worn.

More rumors tell of a secondary voting round where individual tributes will get a chance at receiving help from a very generous sponsor, following the Caesar Interviews.

Remember this is your chance to make a statement. It can mean the difference between life and death in the arena, and also, the difference between peace... or rebellion. All the world will be watching.



[OOC: If your characters choose to rebel, there will be consequences and ripple effects that carry through the rest of the game. Escorts, Mentors, Stylists, and other staff may be at risk of torture, avoxing, or even execution. Rescue will need to be arranged unless these consequences are fine with you. Tributes may be met with these or any number of other punishments.

On the flip side, chosing to be pro-capitol or pro-rebellion now will have lasting effects on the Game's outcome.

Choose wisely. Afterall, the Games are just games. Would you like to see what a real war is?

You are getting the chance to plan early. The final decisions post will be on August 24th at which point voting will open. The voting will close August 31st for the Chariot winners. The IC parade will not be occurring until September 13th.

Chariot outfits seem to be more uniform in canon, so now that I think about it, it's probably best. Do you think Steve would look better in gold or yellow? (Psii's all kinds of weird colors, so he's going to look atrocious no matter what color he wears lol)

Sure! Sayaka will be in this dress and Daryl will be wearing this jacket, I think! Oh, and they'll both have these crowns. I'm not sure if the plan was for everyone to wear them or not, so I'll leave that to you! :)

Outfits: Psii and AU Steve will be dressed in matching wheat suits. Sayaka will have a sherwani style grain colored dress and Daryl will match her. To tie the pairs together they will all be wearing these crowns.
Partners: Psii & AU Steve, Sayaka & Daryl
Attitudes: Sayaka and AU Steve will generally be surly and quiet.

How is this? I think I should wait for Psii and Daryl's players to give input for their attitudes, unless they will be the same way!

Aah, in hindsight, Sayaka will probably be more overwhelmed than surly - still quiet though.

Also put the "presentation" attitudes they will be pressured to do, in this case comitment. Psii will put on a stoic but calm face to appear reliable.

Also: Bouquets of wheat will be laid in President Snow's direction. (The bouquets will later catch fire due to an unfortunate placement of pyrotechnics that none of the tributes could have foreseen--except for Psii, who purposefully neglected to point this out).

ETA: I've tried contacting Iron Bull's player with no success, so if all else fails, I've selected this jacket (no turban) to handwave.

Really sorry for not getting back to you sooner! I seem to be in the opposite timezone as most players and I'm barely waking up.

As for Daryl's attitude (if you want to edit it, no big deal if not), he's been in Panem almost a year and has done the publicity thing long enough to understand what's expected of him, and how to behave himself. He'll pretty much be like Psii — stoic and calm, and also willing to help his chariot partner Sayaka through the ordeal so that they'll both hopefully make a good impression on the audience.
