Cold As Ice
The temperature over the weekend will plummet sharply and however at around -15F/-26C for several days. The skies will be clear without a cloud in sight. But never fear, Tributes. This bitter cold respite is just the calm before the storm. This cold snap could prove deadly to anyone foolish enough not to find adequate shelter.
Run To The Hills
As the sun finally begins to warm things up on Tuesday, the forest will seemingly spring to life with animal activity. But it's not just any old animal making an appearance. Jabberjays will fly through the arena, imitating the cries of loved ones and friends, both ones in Panem and ones from Tributes' homeworlds. These feisty mutts will scream incessantly for hours, almost herding Tributes toward the caves using the voices of loved ones crying for help to urge Tributes on. Once an adequate number of Tributes have been lured into the caves, the real fun will begin.
A Butcher's Tale
Those who have been driven into the caves will encounter a labyrinth of tunnels leading deeper and deeper into the ground. Eventually, they will reach one of several small chambers, stalked with various weapons: machetes, axes, hunting knifes, swords, maces, spears, clubs, hammers, scythes, and bows & arrows. An announcement will instruct them to choose their weapon wisely. There are also backpacks with food, water, and clean underwear for Tributes to help themselves to. The Tributes will then be told that they have 24 hours to kill the Tribute they've been assigned, after which time they will be freed from the caves. If they decide not to participate in the bloodbath, they will suffocate, as there is only enough oxygen in the caves to last 24 hours. Those Tributes who successfully murder their target will be let back into the main arena on Wednesday morning, with whatever weapons and supplies they can gather from the caves.
Those who decide to participate must sign up by Monday 23 February at 1159pm Eastern time. Those who sign up will then be assigned a target to go after in the caves. If you choose to participate, your Tribute will have a 50% chance of death with no buy-out option. However, if your character survives, they will have access to whatever food, water, and weapons they can find in the caves. The results and log will be posted on Tuesday.

reallypretty incompetent if they do end up fighting rather than just both suffocating, maybe Julian could just get in a lucky blow by some miracle?Also, Julian is set to die this week anyway, so if you want Initiate to give Julian some fatal injuries as well that is totally fine with me. :>

Initiate's a very very experienced fighter and totally built to kill buuuut... he was avoxed not to long ago and one of the lingering bits of conditioning left with him is fear of killing. Trying to do so fucks with his head. He won't go down without a fight, because he promised not to, but once he realises Julian
sucks at thisisn't going to nail him, he may just... accidentally... step into it... after all, hey, at least one of them can live!EDIT: The only thing I need is for him to be able to walk away to die.

That all sounds good to me! I was scratching my head like how is Julian going to possibly kill him?? but that seems like it would work great! :> Julian might be pretty unwilling to make the first move (unless Initiate does something that makes him panic) though, so I’m not sure if that will be a problem?
And Julian can give axe throwing a whirl! He has zero experience with any sort of weapon, so I can feasibly have him grab anything to try and use.
