Arena Update.

Float On
On Saturday night, the gravity systems within the space station begin to "malfunction". Every thirty minutes for the next forty-eight hours, the gravity systems will continue to malfunction, causing Tributes without gravity boots to float off in random directions. Anything not strapped down is at risk of drifting up and crashing into things. When the gravity systems are engaged again, everything (and everyone) will smash back into the ground again. We repeat: This will happen every 30 minutes for the next 48 hours. Good luck getting some sleep! ;)


In The Air Tonight
On Wednesday night, something wacky will happen in the science labs! Some of the chemicals stored in there mysteriously combine together and create some toxic fog! The hazy green mist will start to pour out of the science labs and slowly spread throughout the entire station, causing coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing, headaches, nosebleeds, and after prolonged exposure (i.e., 30 minutes or longer) open sores which will bleed profusely and ooze bright orange pus. After two hours, the fog will escape out through the air filtration system and leave the station. Luckily, the science labs come with some handy safety showers! But most of them aren't connected to water pipes. Some showers will spray blood (a literal bloodbath!), others vinegar, others rubbing alcohol or bleach. Needless to say, trying the showers might make the oozing wounds even worse.

ARENA PLOTTING

I'm still trying to work out exactly what went down during the first week in the Arena, but Shepard is *very* available to murder any dudes why might need murdering, and she has her cool Biotic powers, so it would probably be an interesting death.

Marco, Black Tom and Venus

So! Little Marco needs to get killed. Anyone up for taking out a helpless teenager?

Both Black Tom and Venus are around and willing to kill people - Venus is a little more discriminating about it than Tom, but basically if she doesn't particularly like you or you've gone for any of her friends or the younger Tributes, she'll go for the throat. Black Tom will go after just about anyone.

I'm planning to get opens up for my boys and maybe for Venus at some point this week, too, if anyone would like to do anything! :)

Black Tom needs to die, but I have some ideas for that.

Bucky Barnes (616)

Bucky is still trying to lie low while looking for opportunities to win the trust of hero-types! I'm up for having him kill someone who's trying to off someone else, or just rescue someone from environmental hazards.

Or, really, anything else you want to do with a secretly re-brainwashed Bucky.

Jet and Cassian

Jet is dying so any and all plans for him need to be expedited if they're still going to happen! I'll be putting up a catch-all log for him that spans week 'o' and week one, so that would be the best place unless anyone I've talked to wants to do it in their own posts.

Jet's still open for plans, if anyone wants him! I think I have a plan for him dying this time, though.

Cassian is also dying! This one needs someone to kill him, preferably someone with powers as opposed to a trained assassin. Unless someone wants a really close assassin on assassin fight which could be cool too!

Kenny

I would like Kenny to actually successfully kill someone this arena, so if anyone wants to be murderized (whether intentionally or accidentally) by this kid... :'} He's got some actual stabby weapons (and rope) thanks to the Cornucopia and credits he earned in the kiddie arena! However, he won't intentionally go after any other fellow younguns, though if he's attacked he'll fight back regardless.

Alternatively, mercy killings due to someone getting unlucky with environmental hazards and etc. are fine too.

So far he's gonna be killing a bunch of French dudes at once and then eventually off Clementine after she becomes a walker, if that will be of any influence to people who might happen to witness. :')

So Ruffnut barely survived her first confusing week as a space viking. She may or may not get her arm ripped off by Charlie though.

She'll be dragging around a Hiccup and an Astrid Personaorb so if you're interested in that lemme know. She could and would beat someone to death with one of the screaming orbs.

She'll be looking to explore the dark corners of the station possibly tripping over monsters and machines on the way.

Time for Psii to have some death visions! They will continue until Psii leaves the powered arena. If you'd like Psii to know/warn of certain deaths, even outside death rolls, feel free to tell me. The details of his premonitions can be as clear or muddy as you'd like. (Default is his visions/voices are too jumbled to pick out individuals clearly, so your secrets are safe if you'd like them that way.)

I'd also love to do a thing where he straight up tells someone they're going to die, and they don't believe him. He's used to that lmao. His plotting post has more information if you need it.

Aang and Bruce Banner

Well, Aang needs to die. Before he dies, I want to stuff as much stuff into his time in a powered arena as possible. That means bending, Avatar State, saving people, and possibly killing someone in a fit of desperate or careless bending, likely in an attempt to save himself or someone else.

Avatar State can be easily dealt with, if no one wants to get into a fight with him and shove him onto a convenient rock. He can just fall on something similarly conveniently placed when gravity starts getting wonky.

For the bending, he will be trying to help people who are having trouble with the gravity and the gas. He can use firebending or airbending to shoot himself around in zero-gravity environments and will make liberal use of Newton's laws once he's figured them out. He can also use airbending to disperse the fog... but here's the rub. He's been mostly sustaining himself on pulling nutrients from the air around him instead of actually eating, since good food is hard to come by. Thus, even when the fog is gone, he's going to be affected by the remainder in the air and is going to get progressively unhealthy without understanding exactly why.

I want him to kill someone. There is bleach in the showers, and bleach can be bent like water. He will not know what the bleach is or how it differs from water. He can easily kill someone with that on accident, or he could panic and pull the air from a person's lungs, or he could blast a person in the face with fire... the remaining gas in the air will make him sick and sloppy, and he'll be easily scared into doing something stupid. And after that, he'd be easily killed because he'd be too scared to defend himself.

Let's make this arena one for him to remember.

Bruce, on the other hand, will keep hard to himself after Steve and Clementine die. He'll be staying in the science labs, except when the fog comes in and fucks him up. Then he'll probably go to a safety shower and get drenched with blood. Depending on how this goes, he could end up deciding to split from his team in an effort to get away from people while his temper is so strained. If he doesn't end up doing that, he'll stick around and try to give everyone medical attention who needs it. Who wants to come across a guy with anger management issues struggling to stay calm?

Forewarning: next week is my finals week. I will be busy, but after that, I'm free as a bird and will tag as such.

dave and thor

Dave Strider is up for death this week! I still have an open post up so if you want him COME HAVE FUN WITH HIM because now he will be gone. He is potentially being killed by Tom but I'm still working that out, I wouldn't mind having him kill someone or have an awesome fight before he goes!

Thor Odinson IS ALIVE and toting around Carlos while trying to figure out how to best use his powers. He's here for the fights and the protecting but not so much for the killing. I WOULD LOVE IF HE COULD LIFT PEOPLE TO HIGH SURFACES AWAY FROM THE FOG.

Charlie and Mister Scratch - OFFERING ONE DEATH AND ONE KILLER

Charlie is currently a giant darkness monster and needs to have a horrifying death. Any suggestions? I'm down for her being forced back into human form in some terrible way and getting killed, too.


Mister Scratch is still alive and has done diddly squat thus far. ANYONE NEED KILLING? Or injuring? Or corrupting? There's a breakdown of his powers and a permissions post here. He needs more CR of all kinds! Seriously!

Eponine

And I think, sensible girl that she is , she will be tying herself down to something sturdy after the first gravity-defying half hour... Which could make her a sitting duck, really. Whoops. Anyway, have at it. Deaths or fights or nice things too

Derek Zoolander

Derek pretty much ran straight away from the cornucopia and has been having a miserable time. His camouflage/makeup skills have helped him stay hidden throughout the first week, but he probably has no good excuse to survive much longer, so I'm absolutely willing to kill him this week. Or have him survive, if anyone would go out of their way to help a stupid sweet idiot! He's very happy to do what he's told. I definitely want to play though... totally dropped the ball on week 1.

MCU!Bucky and Clementine

Clementine is up to die. So I'm looking for a volunteer to kill a little girl! The only stipulation is I have plans for Kenny having to do a mercy kill on zombie!Clem so death cannot be by head injury.

Additionally, if your character is up for death we could do something fun where they kill her and then she reanimates into a Walker and kills them? Walking Dead, fun times!

Bucky is losing some of his most important CR this week, which makes for an extra unhappy and unstable assassin roaming around the space station. He is available to kill people, generally get into fights or other shenanigans. If you want a super-soldier with a crazy metal arm to run into your character I am for all the things!

Loki Laufeyson (MCU)

So Loki has been death-tolled for week two and it will be Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff who will finish him off. Already injured from the Cornucopia run, he's likely going to sustain extra injuries his first week in his currently ongoing log. Feel free to throw anybody in there to hurt him more - or if you want him to hurt and/or kill your character.

Brock Samson

DO YOU NEED YOUR DUDE KILLED? ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SEEING IT HAPPEN IN A WEIRDLY CREATIVE WAY? LET BROCK SAMSON BE YOUR MURDERER TODAY!

Brock is fully available for killing any and all adult males. Objects he has that will probably play a part in this murder: screwdriver, scissors, taser, portal gel. Let him portal gel you in the face (not dirty) and then shove your blind ass down a ventilation shaft. Let him jam a screwdriver in your treacea and say something dumb like "I guess you're pretty screwed." Etc. These are just some of the exciting options that await your date with death... Death by Samson!

On the non-grisly murder side of things, Brock will help out children and maybe women, though he's still kicking your ass if you try to kill him, ladies.

He will also be getting stupidly enraged by the malfunctioning gravity so please enjoy a frothing 6'8" person floating around super angrily and bumping into stuff.

Sam Wilson

Sam's still around and kicking this week! He and Bruce Banner have an infirmary set up in one of the science labs, which is open to anyone who needs first aid or just stumbles across it.

He's also out and about and available to run into in other areas of the arena! He won't kill or attack anyone outright (barring a few people), but he will fight anyone who attacks him or people he likes. I'm also up for rescues, him being rescued, or causing accidental deaths!

Nitou

Nitou's going to start to be getting more than a little antsy from not being able to feed on magical energy so far. He's already been chasing around a few magic users unsuccessfully, and he's about to have to make more of an effort so Chimera, the creature that lives inside him, doesn't decide to kill him for lunch instead. If you have a magic user and want an idiot running around after them claiming that he's going to eat them, then Nitou is your man.

He'll also probably be accidentally killing Gary with a syringe of neurotoxin he's going to mistake for future medicine, oops.

So Bilbo is alive for now but now he's the only hobbit left in the arena SO I'm definitely up for some more traumatizing shit to go down for him.

I'm open to anything, especially if anyone would like to hurt him/bilbo hurt them (it'd be on accident or in self defense). I'm also not opposed to him accidentally killing someone so there's that too.

Davesprite

Welp, Davesprite's dying, so who's up for this?

Being a game construct, he's going to be sort of hard to kill, but I'm going under the assumption that sometimes he might glitch out. This has both good and bad possibilities. Good, because it means if you want to do some awesome fight scenes, this can totally be a thing. Davesprite can take a lot of damage (destroyed wings, anyone?) and if your character needs to be killed, this could totally be a thing! On the other hand, any wounds he might acquire while in sprite-mode will inevitably catch up to him when he's in not-sprite mode. This can equally make him a sitting duck.

As of right now, my plan is to have him succumb to damage over time, but if someone wants to have at him, let me know!
