Anonymous comments have been enabled in the OOC community to allow anonymous criticism, however IP logging is enabled. The mods will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand somehow.

This is not a love meme, however, it's definitely not a hate meme either. Harassment will not be tolerated, please report any incidents to the moderators. Feedback of all kinds is encouraged. Participation in this HMD is not mandatory, however starting in January, all players must participate twice a year. We also highly encourage everyone to comment to at least three other members with feedback.

I especially appreciate that fine line you've got between her be here and be from be from the world that she is, while still being a child and having that curiosity and confusion. She sounds really appropriate.

So I'm a helper mod now. If there's any issues I specifically need to look at, feel free to bring them forward here.

In general RP, I've been making a lot of minor but frequent typos and mistakes. I'm sure if it's so frustrating for me, it likely will be for others. Consider this a notice that I am doing my very best to work on it. As for tag speed, I still have a rule that if a tag sits for over a week, I have to contact the mun in some way to say I'm not dropping.

For Initiate's character, he's reached that point where he's changed a LOT from when he first started. I apped him with intention of a redemption arc and I feel he's mostly there. Still with flaws of course, but there. However, because of this vast difference, there's naturally a residual worry of "is he recognizable as being the same character?"

As for his speech patterns, it is totally okay if he is difficult to understand! This means I am doing his speech correctly. It is meant to be disjointed, and occasionally inaccessible. His speech is meant to be peppered with slang, poetic language, and shit he just made up on the spot. Sometimes he can do double meanings. If you ever need a translation, when it's something you feel your character would know, hit me up! I won't bite.

Hannah is mute, terse, secretive, and anti-social. This can be a difficult combination for people to tag. Am I doing enough to keep things interesting and flowing with her, and is there anything I can do to improve?

She is also a new character so I am still feeling her out (not quite 100% fully formed as Initiate is). If there's anything you'd like to see, I'm all ears.

I have no frame of reference for Hannah yet but for Initiate, his character development makea a lot of sense considering the environment and people around him and I can't wait to see how he goes forward from here. As for voice, he's consistant and unintelligible at times, which I know is purposeful as you said.

Basically I think he's awesome and very interesting and I wanna keep tagging him forever. I wish I had some crit to giveso this was a bit less of a love fest but there you go.

Hey folks! Just Joan Watson here. I also have a personal HMD post here. I think my biggest issue is character development. In that she doesn't seem to have much. She's getting more used to and accepting of violence, and owns the "doctor" title, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I also sometimes forget things that have happened to her, which I'm sure is annoying to the people I play with. I'll try to be better about both of those things.

-Is Cecil's character development making sense? Does he feel consistent with who he was before everything that's happened to him recently?
-Is Cyrus' voice consistent? Do you have a good sense of him as a character? I worry that he's inconsistent between threads, and that that makes him hard to respond to, or to read how he's supposed to come off!
-Am I doing well at making threads interesting and keeping them going? Are tags pretty easy to respond to?
-Am I doing okay at OOC planning, helping you feel involved with stuff we do together in-game? Am I failing to follow through on stuff we've planned?
-How's Sam's voice??

I will continue to sing the praises of Cecil :) I adore how you write him. You give him that same bizarre view of reality that he has on the show and make it fit with the bizarre reality of Panem, and it's wonderful. I think his character development makes sense, considering the radical swing in perspective from being forced to participate in the games himself.

I am absolutely enthralled with Gary and his particular brand of... Gary-ness. I've said it elsewhere, but I really like how you're willing to play characters that will create negative CR and/or otherwise get on people's nerves, and there's something about the way that you go about it that makes it fun! He's quite consistently high-energy and oblivious, and I look forward to seeing how he develops after the mini-arena.

I know my Edna tags are a bit slower than Albert's and I've also had a couple instances where Albert is canon familiar with certain characters without saying anything icly, which it has been brought to my attention is borderline canon-puncturing. If I've done this to you and it makes you uncomfortable, please let me know.

I actually really appreciate the line you've drawn between canon-puncturing and not with Sam so far - acknowledging it without bringing it too heavily into their interactions, or stating anything that Albert expects from him as a result. That might have come off as infomodding or similar, but it hasn't happened yet, and honestly I like the detail of Albert unconsciously matching his speech pattern, having read the story he's from.

I can definitely get why that might be going too far for some people, and I think it's a personal preference thing - but rest assured, I like the balance you've drawn there quite a bit.

Great job with Albert in general - I'm canon-blind, but I enjoy every thread we've gotten to do, and I really appreciate your steadiness in tagging back and willingness to talk things out! I always feel like I can talk out where something is going with you, and that's awesome. I'm hugely looking forward to more between our guys!!

Brock's voice sounds very accurate to the canon and I've said it before, but I really enjoy that you adopt a glib approach to your prose. It makes the threads feel more lively. I'm hoping to be able to do some capital-P Plot stuff with you in the future. :)

Well, I know I sound like a broken record, but I really do tend to worry about the same things. Do my characters sound like believable people? Do they act and respond like you'd expect a real-ish even person too? (Realish, since these are pretty unreal circumstances a lot of the time.)

Does Wesker feel appropriately creepy and evil to you?

Also, I forever apologize for my typos. Especially leaving words out of sentences. I fix any of them that I catch, but some always slip through.

Please read through the tags you're responding to before answering, and keep in mind any interactions the character has either had or witnessed around your muse.

Also Homura seems to me to have had very little development and is like pulling teeth to tag with.

I've been kind of lackluster the past couple weeks because of school/work biting my ass, so I apologize if my tags have been lame and/or I've been slow. As far as characterization goes, I have to take some liberties because most of his dialogue on the show is sparse and reactive in nature, but he's not actually introverted. So I hope I'm doing okay with that without straying from his character.

I've really enjoyed seeing Kenny around - I don't know much about South Park but I know it takes a lot to take a character from a canon that's such a different genre to the games and keep him feeling true to both settings, but it feels like you do that with him really well. I look forward to seeing where Panem takes Kenny next.

I've really been enjoying Porrim. I'm canon-blind on Homestuck so I can't say anything there, but I think she fits excellently in this setting. She comes across as competent and intelligent but open, and it's really interesting watching her interactions with various Tributes and other Capitolites.

Plus I'm having a ton of fun with her and Sam!
