Hey everyone! I'm Amy, and I used to play here awhile ago, so if the name sounds familiar, that would be why! I'm going to be bringing in Shatterstar from Marvel 616. Now I have to say, this is a very different character then I'm used to playing! But he's awesome. So, I have to give a bit of backstory for him to make sense. 'Star is a genetically modified half mutant gladiator from Mojoworld. Mojoworld is ruled by Mojo, who is basically a big, bad TV producer. And some of his shows? Are gladiator style shows.

Is this starting to sound familiar? Because it definitely will to 'Star. He used to be a gladiator in one of those shows, but more recently he is a member of X-Factor, which is a mutant investigation group. Yeah, the guy is all over the place. The big thing I want to bring up is that 'Star used to be one of those emotionless warrior guys, but has started to "feel" things, and this brings on a whole new set of problems.

So, big warning that 'Star will most likely flirt with your character if they are attractive and of age. He might also greet himself by kissing them, the first time they meet. And he will do all of these things even if his boyfriend, Rictor, is around (thank god he'll be around). 'Star also watches an obscene amount of TV, but if any fourth walling is to happen, that can be talked about, since that's a tricky one. Seriously, he loves yelling out the "Are you not entertained!?" quote from Gladiator all the time. Also, 'Star doesn't always "get" normal things, and I'm going to send everyone to his app for that.

...Yeah, that is the character I'm bringing in. A former gladiator, TV and movie lover, very sexual person now, who says phrases wrong and will ask weird and super personal questions of everyone. Hello! I'm Allie, and I'm new here. Here being Dreamwidth in general, since Amy coaxed me over to the dark side, so I'm still learning the ropes. I'm bringing in Julio Richter (but don't call him Julio), also known as Rictor, from Marvel 616. He's playing for District 9. Hi, District 9!

Ric is an ex-ex-mutant; he lost his powers on M-Day, struggled with depression (and, trigger warning, a suicide attempt) that he doesn't talk about, joined the all-mutant detective agency X-Factor and learned how to be a real boy again, and then got his powers back and all was well. Except not really, because when does that ever happen? As far as powers go, he can generate and manipulate seismic energy, and he has an empathic connection to the planet's biosphere. He drinks more than he probably should, is kind of a jerk, and is probably going to get jealous if his idiot boyfriend Shatterstar flirts with your character. He tries his best to keep him under control, and challenges you to do better.
