In person, Brainy's going to seem like a self-serving dick but during his time in Panem he's going to be secretly operating under a false online persona in Panem called Lonestar that occasionally communicates with the Tributes anonymously and offers assistance, sometimes in cooperation with the rebel Hacker. Lonestar will be portrayed as a citizen of Panem that can provide the Tributes with hacked information, useful computer programs, ways around surveillance, the ability to have encrypted private conversations, and sciencey things they can use to get their rebel on, without having to rely on the actual rebels.

If your character would trust that online persona enough for it, they can make requests of him and he'll arrange a pickup for the tech.

I just put up the first post from him under that persona on the network. If your characters have IC questions feel free to have them go crazy. He'll be trying to earn their trust. If you have any OOC questions, feel free to ask them here.

PLAYER PLOT POST

Sometimes we want to plot with our fellow players, but are either too shy to approach them, or we just don't get the chance. This is a place to brainstorm, bounce off ideas, and do anything you'd like, plot wise. Its sole purpose is to foster connection between players. These will be posted once a round. So make a friend! Or an enemy!
