Hello, everyone!

My name is Elizabeth, and I'm joining your games with this sweet lovely girl, Pierrette. She comes from the book series The Sorceress's Tale and is an itty bitty medieval witch hailing from the French coast. No joke, she's delightfully small. :D

Pierrette is a "traditional" styled witch, where she is a worshiper of a pagan goddess called Ma, the goddess of the earth. She can conjure light, perform spells, curses and rituals and generally be a clever little sparrow. ^.^ She'll be joining you with Group 2, and once in the capital she is assigned with District 10.

AND with that round of apps, we have meet our cap.

As this is the first time it has been reached, we expect to run into some kinks, but this is our plan right now:

We will NOT be publicly discussing how close we are to apps reopening for Tributes, and we will be speaking to anyone we see discussing it. This is to make sure anyone who is trying to decided whether they want to drop or not doesn't take "I will be drop 9 or 10" into account, and feel pressure to open apps again with their drop. People should not ever feel they should be dropping so someone else can play.

We will also be giving a weeks notice after we hit number 10, until apps officially re-open.

We won't be advertising it anywhere outside of the community however. I will be working on an advertisement to push for AU characters, so be thinking of who you might want on an AU wanted list!

The results of the poll for canon caps is pretty clear, and although it is not a mod comment, we feel this comment speaks well for the "no general cap" reasoning.

We did, however, decided to go with Britt's suggestion that, for every 10 round apps, there will be a limit within that period of no more than 3 apps per canon. We will add each "full" canon to the reserve page as we hit them.

I'm Kit, and I bring you the wonderful Joan Watson from Elementary. For those of you unfamiliar with the show, Joan is a former surgeon, former addiction counselor, and current consulting detective. She works with Sherlock Holmes, initially as his sober companion, now as his partner, solving crimes and catching bad guys. She's kind yet tough, doesn't put up with anyone's crap, and is so not going to be happy to be here.

I, on the other hand, am totally thrilled :)

This is Mel (Cinna/Blaine/Dan/Callista), breaking the character cap with a fifth character! Woo!

Now I'm bringing you Yukiya Ayase (boy it's weird to type his name in that order). He is from a yaoi manga called Okane ga Nai but he has been AUed to be a Mentor for District 5.

Some important facts that Panem residents would know about him:
- He is the Victor for the 69th Hunger Games. He was 13 at the time.
- He only won because one single sponsor poured an historic amount of money into protecting and saving him. No one single sponsor has ever spent as much money before or since and Yukiya's Victory still is used to show Tributes the power of sponsor support.
- When he turned 18, shortly before the 74th Hunger Games, there was a mini-documentary that aired which showed him coming back to the Capitol to meet his sponsor. They've been in a semi-public relationship since, which is why he hasn't been around until now.

That sponsor won't be making an appearance in game (unless someone apps him, which I doubt) so Yukiya will be free to interact with your fine characters.

On that note, Yukiya's history has some pretty triggering stuff in it. While this is not likely to come up in day-to-day interaction with him, if you would prefer it never come up in our play you can reply to my permissions post here. This should not mean that we can't play together, just that I won't have the subject come up no matter how close they get. That is still totally IC because it's not something he's really going to want to talk about.

If just playing with a character with that history bothers you, you know I have four others for you to choose from! Just let me know by commenting on that post because I wouldn't want to accidentally trigger anyone. You all are too awesome for that! ♥

Hello! I'm Pengu and I bring you offerings of a terrible alien fish from the obscure webcomic series known as Homestuck. Orphaner Dualscar is the ancestor of Eridan Ampora, so naturally he's 100 times worse than him. His title comes from his career of killing the guardians of bitty trolls in order to feed the great tentacle beast of the Empress (I assure you this is not a hentai). He's royalty and he knows it, he's extremely classist and xenophobic and he's aggressive as hell. An all around pleasure to be around, particularly in a battle.
