Ok, so the groups and (hopefully) relevant threads are as follows:
The different groups are:
Combat One and Combat Two- Will be going in to fight the aliens and take out the eggs. Anyone who is wanting to kill their character off (Which must be mod approved) will need to go in these groups. Aggressive, fighting type characters, but they don't need to be super heros (Ripley wasn't.) You will also be in smaller groups, if the group are too big, just so you guys can break apart smaller for threads (Since I know 10 person threads are a hot mess) There will be some freedom, but the two combat teams will be going to diffrent physical locations.
so you guys will be able to interact before/after/inbetween attacks and over radios.
Intelligence- The smart and clever but maybe not so physical ones. They will be tracking the teams, telling them where to go, etc. If you are on this team, you will need to be pretty plugged in to at least be skimming over one or both combat teams. You will be jumping into their threads to let them know what's happening over head phones, and you will likely, to an extent, be NPCing the aliens (In the sense of going "Oh, hey, we have a heat signature to your left." kinda thing)
Homebase- Healers, chefs...people who want to help but are not useful in fighting. Also, anyone refusing to sign up will end up in this situation anyway, the Tribute building will be on lock down so these would be the people the unwilling to help would be interacting with. Injured combatant (and peacekeeper NPCs) will be brought back here. There is opening for like a mini-USO show or anything like that if anyone wants to have a little more fun here. Characters who don't have powers useful to healing, who stay here, will not have access to their powers. If you wanna blow shit up, you have to go kill some aliens.
We will be interacting as mods, and have another post with a little map, as well as rolling combat characters for (non-deadly) major injuries which they will be taking into the arena, though patched up with Capitolmagicscience. You will be able to decided they type of injury if you get rolled.
We'll have one more thread, after everyone had their groups and injuries, etc for plotting with a little map and the check points y'all need to hit up, and then you guys can go nuts with plotting. Does that sound good? The mods are going to be monitoring threads, but generally we wanna give you the framework and let you guys run with this. Please avoid doing too much plotting until this last post goes up. There is still relevant information you'll need for plotting in that post, and for this event, plotting will need to be focused on the OOC post more than plurk.

POWER
Re: POWER
He's looking to collect more information about the rebellion and sabotage Capitol where he can, so long as it doesn't get him caught. On the flip side, he cannot read minds, so any collected information would have to be left somewhere or transcribed to someone else (during the fighting) so that he could retrieve it later.
What info could he collect if any, and how might he be able to use this for sabotaging purposes? If there's anything that he can do, I'd like to sign him up for this. :)
