PLAYER PLOT POST


Sometimes we want to plot with our fellow players, but are either too shy to approach them, or we just don't get the chance. This is a place to brain storm, bounce off ideas, and do anything you'd like, plot wise. Its sole purpose is to foster connection between players. These will be posted once a round.

How this works:

1.) Post with your character’s journal.
2.) Throw in some tidbits about their current state in the game. (PROTIP: This step is important! Let other players know what sort of plotting you'd like to get up to, who your character is, what their goals are. Some people are familiar with other canons, and some are not, and the more info you give, the more likely you'll stumble on some awesome ideas.)
3.) Comment on other characters with things that might interest yours: Brainstorm, start a thread.
4.) Profit.

REMINDER: Your characters' close CR is likely going to be interacting with you anyhow. Use this post to reach out! Do not be nervous. People around this game only bite if you ask nicely.

Also, a reminder towards plot: The rebellion is still going, under ground. This would be a perfect time to start feeling out where your character stands, or has been standing on it.

Is still riding off the high of their double win, and still hasn't really caught on the darker implications and shenanigans going on. She can sense a little bit, but she's trying to be willfully ignorant to enjoy the fact they finally won.

She's open to just about any CR right now.

Elias|

Is starting to get a flavor of how fucked up these games are. He has always stayed less confrontational but is already started to get worn thin by just the taste of government bullshit going on. His whole hands off on being the slightest bit rebellious is starting to wear off.

He's open for just about any CR.

Lottie|

Is currently enjoying the capitol and all it has to offer. She doesn't want to go back into the arena and is pretty much in denial she was there and that she sorta killed someone.

She also is open for all CR.

KAIDAN ALENKO is still acting like a damn marine. He's not at all pleased that he's back from the dead and not at all pleased that he's going back out into the arena soon. He'll be a little more cut-throat when it comes to protecting whoever he decides to protect this round. A little less soft and a little more territorial/aggressive. Always up for any kind of cr. negative positive or neutral, it's all good.

Wanna keep up a little bit of that CR from last time? Ariadne's going to be a little bit more hardcore this time around as well, and I think she'd be pleased to see that someone she allied with is still around and kicking.

And hey, maybe we can pit them against each other in some way, if we liked! I think that would be fun. Particularly if Ariadne has to die again.

HAYMITCH -- He doesn't like these games anymore than the games that used the kids. Especially now that Snow's added the ~special~ incentive for the winners again. Of course, Haymitch isn't a natural born leader, so he's just riding the wave for now, unhappy as ever, and unsure about the coming future.

DARIUS is around as an example of how fucked the Capitol can be even if you're not in the games. PCs talking to him may be approached afterwards by an offended Capitol resident hissing "That's an avox! You don't talk to them, it's not done!" followed by vague hints about traitors and criminals. They don't know what he did to get detongued, and they don't care, they just know it must have been very, very wicked.

I do need to run him into Gale, Haymitch, and Katniss.

Right now Tate will be training in the Capitol and preparing for the second Games.

So I feel we are pretty down with CR but yes. Lottie needs to be terrfied by Tate, and Finnick and Elias bros. Finnick should start working on Elias being rebellious maybe?

Also, when Sammy comes around she is gonna get real and have her eyes on Tate. So we will have like...a revenge train.

Dr. Grey - He actually... isn't in the game yet. But that doesn't mean that plotting for CR cannot happen!

Grey's application, Grey's Nexus Wiki (Grey is 27 at the start of this game, as he was when first introduced to the Nexus.)

Grey's goal, initially, would be to survive and get back home. Post arena, however, he's probably going to slowly come to the conclusion that there really wasn't much left for him at home anymore anyway and, you know, the Capitol isn't half bad with all of it's fancy technology and great food! Besides, the games are rather fun.

I don't have anything specific in mind at this point, but am very much open to brainstorming and coming up with ideas for CR.

Grey needs a Capitol doctor to interact with. Why haven't we any of these?

Ariadne just finished up her first Games, and is still reeling from the fact that she's not actually dead. She's very much taking it as a hint that she should try harder this coming Games, and has been training quietly when she isn't attending parties. She doesn't really know about the rebellion, but she's all for it. She's also starting to realise that she is rubbish on this end of the games, and that she much prefers building to offing people.

Open to absolutely all CR. I'd love for her to kill someone this coming Games as well, and discover that her time with Cobb has made that a possibility.

Elias likes her, and I think we should keep that up. They are both sorta...mellow but passionate types.

Momoko is quietly freaking out about her first Games coming up and trying to prepare herself as much as she can, mostly in attempts to make herself a Capitol favorite and putting out feelers on possible alliances. She has no idea about the rebellion and would probably avoid it if she did on the belief that it would just be inviting trouble.

I am open to any and all CR--she's so introverted, it's hard!--but if anyone wants to plan for in-Arena alliances I am especially interested!

Since Momoko and Ariadne are both introverted, would you be interested in trying for something of an alliance? It could be interesting to see if they can get each other out of their shells during the brief time they have in the Arenas, as well as an opportunity to keep each other alive.

Annie Cresta|

Poor BB just had a freakout because of trackerjackers. She'll probably not be leaving the Training Center anytime soon because now NO WHERE IS SAFE. She is accepting nice friends who want to give her head pats and snuggles, always. It would also be fun to have people creep on her. (Though you will have to remember to Beware of Boyfriend)

Well. She was last round's victor, which only surprises her a little. She was more concerned with other people dying than actually losing because that's just... how she is. She's pretty angry with the Capitol now because she blames them for her having had to kill Kaidan in the end. When she learns he and some of the other tributes (Ariadne, Ken, etc.) are alive (again), she's probably going to feel very confused. And more angry. She's a District 9 mentor now, but she's a little bitter. If there are any other mentors who want to kind of tell her what's what, well she's totally on the 'Capitol Sucks' side and thinks Snow is a giant douche. So if rebellions and things go down in the future, she would be an extremely useful ally to have. Just putting that out there. ;D

Tony Stark|

Just arrived. Look at that delicious piece of fresh man meat. He's probably going to just snark at people in the Capitol until it's time for him in the Arena, where he will probably sneak off and build things if he can. He's been placed in District 12 of all places, so Haymitch, Effie, Katniss... sup friends! ;D He's pretty much cool with meeting anyone, friends, enemies or otherwise.


**Basically all three of them are totally open for any CR you want to throw at them,and I love you all!

Eliot has just arrived in Panem. He's furious at being taken away from his team, leaving them without a protector. He's lived long enough, though, to know to charm his potential allies and enemies until he knows what kind of situation he's dealing with.

He's open for just about any CR.

I really want Kaidan and Eliot to be friends or at least partners for a bit. Kaidan is 100% down with the protector role, too. Last round he had (and failed) a band of kids to protect. Same thing might wind up happening this go.

So Lily Rammsteiner is still frightened to death with accidentally harming someone whenever she blacks out, and I doubt she'll ever get out of the habit of trying to help everyone else any time soon. That being because she trusts just about everyone so far!

Any kind of CR is fine with me, especially anything that may lead to her learning something new... since my precious baby knows so little about the world around her, SOBS. AND THIS IS HER FIRST TIME IN THE "OUTSIDE WORLD" AND SHE'S BEING FORCED TO KILL. I am a terrible mun, I know.

Now let me hold all of you in my arms as we ready ourselves for the next Arena.

Okay, I have no ideas for this and no vision of how it would play out, but I would love put Momoko in a room with a giant talking turtle.

Emily is super pissed about being alive again - or more specifically, being alive here. And she's livid that they removed the scars on her stomach (she felt like she was losing herself before, this is just adding fuel to the fire). She's getting tired of fighting, but that's been slowly building for awhile now... She's probably going to start having flashbacks to Ian Doyle.

Max is brand spanking new to Panem, and on the surface, she's in it to win it. She does have protective and territorial streaks though, so "weaker" opponents might earn her sympathy.

I've noticed a lot of "super soldier" "genetically engineered" types...I'd love for there to be some camraderie amongst us.

Also, a big concern for Max is her tryptophan requirement. If anyone is interested in being vested in helping her (or trying to keep her from getting a steady supply of either tablets or the foods that will substitute) give me a shout!

Wyatt is brand spanding new to this madness and will be heading into his first arena "blind." (I.e, no idea that if/when he's killed he'll be brought back good as new and expected to jump right into the next one.)

He's open to just about any CR, but I think anyone who might know him (in the historic sense, especially if it's skewed history) would especially be fun to interact with. Also, this version of him is pre-Tombstone and learning about all that would rock his world. Oh, and not to be forgotten, he is just filled with dislike for this whole situation and any way he could help "bring them to justice" would be right up his alley.

There is also a rebellion slowly brewing. So he can get hooked up with that. Since Elias is his mentor and will soon be caught in it, that should work well.

LATE LATE LATE but Kevin will likely be training right now, or attending social events in order to stare at people in an unsettling fashion.

Negative CR is more likely from him because...yeah he's a psychopath but he has made one whole friend so far so anything can happen.
