HOW'S MY DRIVING?
This is not a love meme, however, that also doesn't mean it is a hate meme. Someone's driving can be good, feel free to say as much! Just try to give them an idea on how.
Also please make sure if you are asking for crit you are also giving it. If everyone only posts for themselves, no one will get any feedback. You don't need to comment to everyone, but please be sure if you comment to reply to at least 3 other people. We'll be keeping an eye on this post to make sure everyone's commenting around.
There are some helpful crit questions posted here if you are feeling lost on how to word yourself.

I do have a few criticisms, however, which are probably minor nitpicks in comparison. I feel that buying supplies has no impact on chances of survival other than what they get at the Cornucopia and just for IC story purposes. I mean, it seems better to save all credits for buying out deaths than to use them in weekly sponsor items, because they aren't taken into account in the death rolls (I think?). But that's a weak complaint of mine because... haha I don't really have a solution. I'm sure there are plenty of characters able to find food/water on their own without sponsor items, so saying they're completely necessary is wrong. But I think what you guys did for the Desert Cornucopia, that is failing at the Cornucopia will add in one's name more times to the death roll, was an excellent solution for this. Maybe if a character doesn't get any supplies that week and resources in-Arena are growing scarce (like the drying up water hole, for example), their name gets added one more time to the death roll? But maybe that will just make things more complicated and less fun. If so, don't listen to me :P
Secondly I've seen a lot of minor rule breaking around that the mods don't check? It doesn't really matter in the scheme of things since these have been so minor, but I thought I'd bring it up. For example, I noticed during some ACs new characters, even a few people who have been in the game a long time and are just bringing in new characters, would outright say they've added their 100 newbie credits to their new activity and come out with 250 points or so instead of 150, and this went ignored and their names just taken off the AC danger list. It seems like an easy thing to comment and correct, since the mods have to look at all the AC posts anyway? I noticed this was gently corrected before Arena 5 but that was the only time the mods spoke up about it and it's happened again since then and was not corrected since. Secondly in this Arena's Week 1 death roll, players spent their own credits to buy out their characters (from what I understand from the rules, if one player has character A and B, one can spend character B's credits to buy A out, but not A's credits to buy A out), but the rules say that only other characters credits can buy another out. I did see one helper mod on plurk kindly correct one person who brought it up (although, hey, I wouldn't mind if this was added! It seems like a nice perk and reward for lots of activity, but as of right now, it's not in the rules), and asked them to change it, but the other mod who took off the death rolls let the others go and use their own credits without saying anything. To me it seems like there's a bit of a miscommunication between the mods and what is allowed and what isn't allowed, since one mod allowed it and another said it was against the rules. I think more communication and minor rule enforcement might be necessary.
I hope those aren't super dumb complaints haha, overall you guys are awesome and one of the primary reasons I stay in the game. It's very rare to see mods that are so involved with their playerbase when it comes to plots and arenas!

Always feel free to drop us a line if you see that. I think a lot of what happens is just things slipping through the cracks, we do try to catch those things, but don't always see them. There's just so many little things to check for so many players now, string slip through.
Thank you for all the feedback ♥
