Arena 06 Death Post - Week Two

INSIDE THE ARENA.

Its quieter than normal, but maybe that is a good thing. A scuffle here or there. New allies made, new enemies met. There are more tributes inside this arena than there have ever been, and tension is high as the entire world seems to be waiting for the worse to happen. So many people. So few bodies in comparison.

It's midday when a single canon fires and when night falls, the anthem plays and the fireworks above the castle burst into greens and blues. This is the only face displayed in the sky:

The perfect springtime sky does not return to normal right away. The seal of the Capitol lingers and soon a voice can be heard across every inch of the arena. To some, the voice of Claudius Templesmith may be familiar. To others, maybe a disembodied voice will take some getting used to.

"Tributes. There will soon be a feast in Fantasyland."

Short and sweet, you either know what this means or you don't. Either way, will curiosity get the better of you?

The following tributes have been randomly selected, and will die within the next few days of the arena. Players are encouraged to use this post to plot out deaths however they like!

Any character above may be "bought" out of death by another character for the price of 100 Credits. Player Characters without enough credits are allowed to pool credits from other player characters, so long as it has been discussed by all parties - out of character.

If a character is being bought out of death, please respond to the appropriate thread below. Please make sure to respond to this before the next death roll post, so that both players and mods are on the same page of who is really dying, and who... might not be.

CAPITOL NEWS.
Sudden snow storms made quite the mess of a few outdoor parties for those citizens who got a little carried away with their spring fever. Almost 10 inches over night! But as is typical for a Rocky Mountain springtime, the sun is back and the snow is gone barely 24 hours later.

Jewelry stores are seeing a boom in diamond and precious gem tiaras. And fur-lined capes are all the rage these days, to knock of that mountain-air chill.

Did we really say FANTASYLAND FEAST!? Yes. We did. No, you won't know what will happen to you or what you may get until it happens.

If your character is interested in attending this feast, all you have to do is reply to the appropriate thread below, before midnight tomorrow night (Monday at 11:59 P.M. MST and see what happens!

You can expect to see the official post for the feast to go up sometime on Wednesday. Other than that, hope everyone is having a wonderful time in Disneyland!

SO YEAH. R is going to be wandering as usual. I'm totally open if people want to be attacked by him, bitten, or killed (would have to talk to you if you want them chewed up).

Other than that, he's basically like a slow-moving target who's sadfacing right now over being a shitty friend to Howard. R could probably be distracted from attacking if he's given rats or ducks. Music is another big one. Other than that, he isn't rocking any weapons or trying to gun for items. A crafty thing would be to point him at another Tribute and lob him off onto them.

Omg. Can Some buy out Rapunzel's death and either die or be injured for her? There is nothing he would not throw himself in front of for her, even though they've never met.

Oh, hey, Merlin's in our district? Huh, a district of magic users...

Anyway, Lindsey's still languishing in Fantasyland, possibly in the company of one Gabriel.

He might go wandering around looking for food a bit sometimes, or just to get out of the magic castle, so to speak, so if anyone is going that way (especially for the feast!) feel free to bump into him.

He'll have his powers and he has things that he can use for a weapon... he might possibly try to kill anyone who he meets up.

Daniel Jackson | Stargate SG-1

Daniel will be wandering around trying to get across this message (somehow) to the surviving Tributes: that they don't have to fight, that they can ruin the games by non-violent protest and everyone refusing to play.

I'd be interested in anyone trying to hunt him or attack him.

I'd also be interested in Daniel maybe saving someone or accidentally being responsible for someone's death.

I'm up for plotting! Pruna is mostly hanging around Fantasy land and Tomorrow land, the latter mostly for the food.

Also she has a knife now so anyone want to be killed by an eleven year old assassin?

Wyatt is sticking close to Howard in the Thunder Mountain area, but also goes on walkabouts from time to time - both to look for supplies and to check traps, and to keep an eye out Howard's phantom menace.

Wesker's lurking about Tomorrowland, powered and smug. He will probably be unlikely to leave the area, but hit me up, we might be able to work something out. :D

Okay I'm off to work but I'm gonna throw this out there for Alpha (who doesn't have a set place to stay yet) and Diana (who's in Fantasyland with Kurt, Blaine, and possibly other people and doesn't realize she has access to her powers yet). I will respond when I get home!

Aunamee will be capturing and tying up Grey as bait in Fantasyland before the feast. He'll have a spear and he'll try to kill anyone who approaches. Anyone into this? c:

Katurian will be trying to strangle people with his cape while they're sleeping. Anyone into this?

Pretty much just looking for people to meet Hyperion and either get friendly or creepy vibes from him! Rest assured, he'll take the first excuse he can find to kill off your character. Maybe not this week or the next, but some day. But only after they're friends.

If your character is somehow related to technology it might be even more worthwhile throwing them at each other - Hyperion's got (currently dormant) cybernetic implants in his arms and eyes.

Howard, Punchy and Javert

Javert is going to be a zombie, roaming around with Karis and R. Maximus will mercy kill him into undeadness, then I should be getting an open post up for him.

Howard is heading towards Fantasyland but still camping out in Frontierland.

Punchy's in Tomorrowland and I should have an open post for him up soon.

So Gaius needs to kick the bucket. Since it's his first death, it'd be cool if
a) he and his opponent killed each other in glorious battle because today is a good day to die
b) someone used his complete lack of knowledge about modern contraptions/zombies/amusement parks/whatever to kill him

Aunamee is going to be capturing Grey in Fantasyland, tying him up, and stealing his spear so that he can use him as bait to kill anyone who approaches him. Anyone want in?

Adel is going to be kicking it, probably by way of Asha Greyjoy.

Draco Malfoy

Draco will be wandering around Fantasyland still. Thus far, he's been poking around at things, and has sort of figured out that some of his magic works around those parts, and will be fashioning himself some sort of makeshift wand in order to better use his magic.

I'm not sure if he's still hanging around with Atticus or Katurian at this point, but I'm up for interactions.

He survived his first week in the arena, this is kind of an accomplishment!

Anyway, he's probably ranging around trying to get his hands on some kind of cutting tool because if he can do that it greatly increases what he's capable of.

I suspect he's going to end up ripping wires out of something and using them as line to fish for piranhas in the swamp because what is doing things the easy way.

He'll also show up for the feast because food so... there's that.

Barbara Gordon | The Batman

Barbara has made it her mission to keep track of Harley - something she is already immensely regretting! Most recently, it's lead her to flying off a cart track and into the den of some sort of creatures (but here's hoping they survive. <3 )

Assuming they do, they'll also be attending the fantasy land feast. Just to tempt fate, of course. (Dang it, Harley....)

Most of the time, though, you can find her chasing after Harley. They camp together at night, but the blond girl often manages to sneak off during the night.

(Barbara hasn't really been trying to put a stop to it, even if she could. Because. What else is there to do except follow Harley around???)
