District 12 Stylist Post. Response Needed.

This post is mostly for District 12. Sorry guys.


Basically, I really want to kick up Cinna's rebelliousness now that one of his favorite Tributes won't be returning. To do that, I need to know which of the Tributes are actually his. I know that someone of you have written into your prose that Cinna has designed your clothing (and I hope you made sure to note it was fabulous :|). Even if you haven't though, if you're interested in saying he is your Stylist and are interested in being the canvas of his political statements, can you please let me know?

To be clear, your character does not have to know what he's doing. Katniss is totally unaware of the way he completely uses her in canon and your character can be just as clueless about that as she is. He won't be openly discussing it either, but if you'd like for your character to figure it out they can always call him on it.

Even if you'd like to not have your character be his outlet in that way, if you are saying he's your Stylist can you please comment here? I just want to make sure I know who has been assigned to him.

We should realistically be saying that he only has half of the Tributes though, so the if everyone in the District wants to claim him I'm going to have to cut it off at the first half that comments.

I'd love to have Cinna be a stylist for the Signless -- and if Cinna explained it to him he'd be more than happy to willingly be a canvas for political statements. He's all about sticking it to oppressive governments in non-violent ways (plus I'd really love CR with them).

I do have to say that Cinna wouldn't explain anything, but if Singless caught on they could talk about it?

OH RIGHT haha reading comprehension, I'm sorry!

He might, after a little while. If you want Cinna to put him into something particularly politically charged, I'm totally up to plotting something like that. He's already probably been noticed for being a super obvious pacifist while in the arena (including a Very Impassioned Speech about how people don't have to hurt other people, accompanied by throwing down a knife that he could have probably used offensively if he'd wanted to), and trolls are currently fashionable, so he'd probably be good for that if Cinna wanted his hidden message to be seen by a lot of people.

Now I'm kind of sad I took him from before his execution, because flaming shackles would definitely be a statement.

If you want links to anything relevant that Cinna may have seen, I can give them to you (or I can summarize, whichever you'd prefer). And yeah, I'd have loved to have taken him post-execution, but I wanted to play a nice and friendly character and if I'd have taken him after he would have been a) dead and b) a cynical hate-filled screaming ball of rage directed toward all of creation. So.

The flaming shackles may still be a thing that come up, though, because Amanda's Psiioniic is from post-execution and would know about them. If you're super into the idea we can probably make it happen, somehow (plus I want him to get the details of his really brutal death dropped on him at SOME point).

Here, he's having a very Intense Reunion and messy sort-of breakup (the word 'moirail' gets tossed around a lot; it's a term for a type of troll romance which basically equates to platonic life partners) with the Psiioniic. The execution is mentioned there, too, briefly.

Here, he's meeting his first hostile tribute and getting his first injury. This also includes the knife-throwing I mentioned before.

This is going to be his first death. There was also a thread earlier of him meeting up with Karkat/making an alliance with Cuthbert that devolved into a discussion of troll biology and reproduction, but it was super long and not terribly relevant. The important thing in this to note is that Karkat is revealed to have the same blood color as Signless, which is a big deal, because his blood is a mutant shade. All the trolls who have noticed that have made very clear that that's a Bad Thing and implied that he honestly shouldn't even be alive (including Karkat himself when he first saw). So Cinna is welcome to ask for details on that if he likes!

I had it mentioned in the prose of a comment that Cinna designed Phil Coulson's stuff since Coulson was in 12?

and Coulson might actually be ok with the whole wearing the political FU to the capitol once Cinna explains it or gets that across to him or whatever. Because right now Coulson just things Cinna is part of the capitol crazy. So he's picking the boring shit to still blend in as a spy type person.

Holy crap I know that the last thread we started was my fault entirely for losing track of completely but I really would love to do some things with Cinna!

That said, I would also not mind Cinna using him for his political statements. Tony's gonna eventually be on that team I'm sure!

Oh ;A; My goooooood I want one. I don't know anyone who would play her, but Cinna needs his design partner, and Peeta needs his Stylist. Ah well, he'll have to make do with talking to Cinna, because he seems like a cool guy, especially since Katniss likes him, and she rarely likes anyone.

I would be so happy if we got one though. You know she's kind of epic. She has to be to put up with Cinna basically putting them all in intense danger.

She is definitely epic. I feel like, and this is going more on the book version, that she's right along with the rebellion, but might be a little more grounded? Like, Cinna has all of these wild and crazy ideas, and maybe she's the one who told him that they couldn't LITERALLY set them on fire with real fire, maybe go to something else? I always imagine her to be more technical.

...That's just random thoughts, I have no idea, I'm just thinking.

I've been keeping it pretty vague in posts but it would be pretty cool if Cinna was Pruna's stylist and am happy for him to use her as a cavas of political statements because that would be fun.

Also I'd say she's sorry about killing his favourite tribute but she's not...

Oh. That might be kind of sad because she's a child.

And Cinna pretty much won't be able to blame her for anything she does in the Arena, but he might be a little more emotionally closed off with her than the others.

Yeah, and she wont know what's going on but it would make quite a statement I would think because she is so young. It's up to you if you think Cinna would do that though.
