Hi there! I'm Amy and I'm bringing you my first character, Lady Oscar François de Jarjayes from the absolutely amazing series Rose of Versaille which is totally getting a USA DVD release THIS YEAR and you all should buy it and watch it because yes. It is that awesome.

For her PB I'm using Hikaru Asami from the 2006 musical version because ~~I love Komu~~ I figured why not? And a dear friend made me this icon set ages ago and I've not really used them yet.

She'll be representing District 8, which matches her gamemaker score of 8 ;)

Personally, I'm an east coast USA-ian, but work evenings, so I'm on more Europe-type times. Plurk's the best way to get a hold of me -

i'm totally canon blind on Lady Oscar, but hi! i think we played together at mlj, briefly? anyway, lots of my friends really like rose of versailles, so i'm looking forward to playing with you!

Possibly on the MLJ front. I'm still there, technically, but its just not clicking, so I may drop soon. But we're here!

I expect a decent amount of folk to be canon-blind on Lady Oscar, so that's totally okay. We can have fun anyway!

You have absolutely no idea how excited I am for Oscar, and I love love love that you're using Asami Hikaru icons. She and Osa are my favorite Oscar/André pair, they're just so fab.

I've actually not seen the Komu/Osa digest. I own the main 2006 production, which is Komu/Kashi, and the 2006 Fersen & Marie Antoinette, which is Komu/Touko, but I've not seen the other cast digests. I really should, but my 'to buy' list for Zuka is just so long...

But yea, sorry. I can babble Takarazuka stuff all day. I'll stop now.

Oh no, please don't! I used to be a lot better versed in Takarazuka stuff. It was a mild obsession a few years ago. Now I've just got a few too many Haruno Sumire photocards to be healthy.

I was lucky enough see the Komu/Osa performance in Tokyo, but I don't know that there ever was an official DVD of it. I think the standard one from that run is the Komu/Kashi. I also have the '91 Oscarhen with Mayo Suzukaze, and it's good, but somehow cheesier than even a giant pegasus floating across the stage can usually be, fff.

Oscar is not much of one for dressing up, stylists or no. Then again, that's because she thinks dressing up = huge skirts and such. Formal uniform type things are more to her style.

Then, if our stylists DO app, then she will LOVE their style. And probably hate Cal's over-enthusiastic girly approach and affinity for weird clothes. Sorry, love.
