INSIDE THE ARENA.

The most recent and considerably more exciting fireworks display may have you displaced from your comfort zone. That is, if you've had one here to begin with.

The days stretch on, and the body count rises, and each night the sky is filled with the music of the anthem of the Capitol and the images of the most recently fallen tributes:

It's early in the morning, just after the sun rises on the most recent day that you hear was sounds like a crackle of a speaker coming to life. Half a moment to follow, the voice of Claudius Templesmith soon fills the air.

"Attention Tributes. There will be a feast in Frontierland, where some of you may be able to acquire a few useful tools. Everyone is welcome."

CAPITOL NEWS.
There is a buzz of excitement over Timaeus's party, and everyone who is anyone will be there, dressed to the nines. But expect your stylist to be a little stressed these days. The prince of fabric has dramatically increased in price in the last few weeks. Bolts of silks have nearly tripled in cost. The only excuse producers give are "malfunctions at the factories in District 8."

OUT OF CHARACTER & MOD NOTES.
Oh my gosh another feast!?!? Yes. It will be run similarly to last time. And by that we mean that, you won't know what will happen to you or what you may get until it happens.

If your character is interested in attending this feast, all you have to do is reply to the appropriate thread below, before midnight tomorrow night (Tuesday at 11:59 P.M. MST and see what happens!

You can expect to see the official post for the feast to go up sometime on Wednesday.

mmhmm, yeah, I wasn't sure either. Especially as Bruce is a large quite frankly kind of scary looking guy.

How old is she, btw?

WELL there's a potential excuse to have him take her under his wing, if she'll let him. He's determined to try to protect every kid he can ever

She's a few from in between the third and fourth books, so just before Paul arrives.

She's definitely up for a team-up at this point, so that seems likely. How do you feel about 4th walling because she's likely to bring something up when she hears that his name is Bruce Wayne.

My policy on 4th walling more or less boils down to I'd rather you not share any specific details of anything that is coming up, if she'd know about Batman the Animated Series - so like no spoiling that Tim gets kidnapped by Joker and etc etc. Honestly though just in general Bruce is too famous a character and too pervasive in pop culture in general for me to expect no one to notice him.

He'll be taken aback, but hey alternate universes, so he'll probably just ask her to keep it quiet and then watch to see what she does.

Oh yeah, no problems there. I don't picture her as someone who watched the shows/movies or read the comics, but she knows who he is, because who doesn't? So she'd know basics, but not specifics.

Yeah, she never had that feel for me either, but well, she does have brothers who might and all.

True. I usually play her just knowing what most people know from mainstream pop culture.
