Week One Death Toll

You saw them that first night - the faces in the sky - as you did what little you could to stay warm. Whether this is your first time inside the arena or your fifth (*coughcoughLottiecoughcough*) you know what they mean. Another tribute, dead. Out of the game. And you have no idea if you will ever see them again, if you have any hope at all.

Once the sun is finally gone, the night begins as music rings loud and clear; the anthem of Panem plays. Anyone with a view of the sky can look up and see the proud seal of Panem displayed bright in the sky. The seal is soon replaced with the faces of the fallen:

The following tributes have been randomly selected, and will die within the next few days of the arena. Players are encouraged to use this post to plot out deaths however they like!

All characters above may be "bought" out of death by another player for the price of 50 Credits. All these prices will double each week (i.e. what costs 10 credits now will become 20 next week, then 40, then 80, etc).

Players without enough credits are allowed to pool credits from other players, so long as it has been discussed by all parties. Please be sure that you leave a comment to this post so that the mods can be aware of what you are planning.





CAPITOL NEWS.

The frigid glacial setting of this new arena hits closer to home than the usual arenas, as temperatures plummet down into the single digits and remain there for days. What little snow remains from the falls from weeks before remains stiff and frozen to the ground beneath the frozen blue skies.

You may have come in after our OOC post about this, so I'll copy paste this bit for you.

IF YOU ARE A NEW PLAYER:

You are cleared for no activity and will begin this round with the default 100 credits all new players are given. If you have racked up more then 100 credits in activity while playing in the Capitol, you can choose to go in with those credits instead of your default 100.

Basically, you can go into the arena with 100 credits or with the 25 you made playing Sandy before the arena but you can't add them together.

Ok, who would like to off Eponine? She's gonna be pretty easy to kill, as she has no weapons and no intention of fighting. In fact, she WANTS to die so she can go back to the Capitol and live a cushy life with good food instead of struggling in the arena.

That being said, Eponine will be found near Howard in all likelihood...

I am totally open to all suggestions so please gimme some ideas!

If you're not looking for someone specific, Wesker is happy to help.

If she wants, she could even ask him. He'd find that amusing. (I.e., she wants to die, so maybe she sneaks away from Howard while he's sleeping or whatever and finds Wesker and is all "kill me please.")

So I actually googled it (and i'm glad that google can't report my searches) and I don't think Steve would think he's able to kill her in one blow and that'd make him uncomfortable with doing it.

Most likely if we continue the thread he's going to just pick her up again... Do you want her to just run away from him?

Yes! Sorry, just be sure to let the mods know, because the sea side of the glacier is very dangerous. Birds are the only easily accessible food.

I guess someone was impressed with Sigma almost losing his hand in the first five minutes by grabbing onto a blade... so uh Sigma will be getting some fire starting materials (5), and a sleeping bag. (20). So he'll have 75 credits left.

SO just to clear up some confusion, the replying to Grey and Sherlock will go toward next arena (And you can also count those for alliance for 25 points next round). You just have the 100 for this one.

Momoko-mun is fine with it, that's super awesome actually. I was planning on getting one anyway, which would have definitely put a dent in her credits.

Also, I put up an open log with Momoko just now, assuming that she's alone for the moment and Don is out scouting/gathering supplies, like in Dean's log, and I was wondering if Don would take the knife with him or leave it with Momoko? I'm fine with either!

Alpha's camped out in a hidey-hole by himself right now, haven't decided just where yet. He's keeping an eye out for Howard as a potential minion ally, he'll probably be pretty ambivalent to anyone else he comes across. Except for Wyatt, who he finds hilarious and Grey, who he wants to stab in the face. A lot.
