Events
Mercy
As with any arena, the more time that wears on, the more the numbers dwindle down. It's down to the very last surviving people to have made it to the Capitol's inner depths to do what they absolutely must. Whether that is to destroy the Snow's Revival Mechanism or defend it, neither side can afford to lose. And as with any arena, only one person may come out a Victor.

Pods & Traps
Dancing Light
Even when the sun is hidden well away by the clouds and the night has fallen, the Capitol is never without light. The city shines in every way, brighter than all the rest. Even now this remains true, as people make their way through the dimmed city, they'll find their paths suddenly lit from above and below, even side to side, in great pillars of light. It's almost a beautiful sight until one realises that these blazing pillars are hot, shooting fast, and obliterating anything in their path. The light dances fast and the only place it will be taking any partner is to their doom.

Muttations
Lightfeeders
Deep in the Capitol sewers, these unassuming leeches make their home. Ranging from a few inches up to one foot in length, the Lightfeeders are seemingly blind, inching their way docilely through complete darkness. That is, until a wayward light is shone on them. Provoked by the brightness, the leeches will attack anything that carries it, swarming towards the target and gnashing at anything they can reach with rows of viciously sharp teeth. Capitol soldiers know well which tunnels to navigate in the dark, just as they know that an exceptionally bright light blazing down on their enemy could send these mutts into a frenzy to rival the hungriest of sharks.

HOW THIS WORKS: Thank to the Games Insurance plan, everyone, even 4th wall-ers have 200 points. Getting rolled before the eighth round halts progress regardless, but HOW that progress is halted depends on if you're willing to pay up the points! This is all based on the war motives you supplied last week. If you pay forward, your result will be the one in brackets. If not, you take what you get! Once the character's progress has been halted, you are free to have them "escape" capture or heal their injury soon after and continue participating. Your endgame can be whatever you wish to make it!

If you contributed to the Games Insurance plan, your character gets one free hideout and one of any of the other items available for purchase.

Sponsorship Programme.
By our [always accurate and never at all leaked from inside sources] calculations, the above war survivors are presently at the most risk of death. If not sponsored by the end of the week, these survivors will find that status a lot more difficult to retain. Any and all of those wishing to offer aid must be willing to gamble. 200 Credits isn't too much to turn threats the other way, now is it?

Any Rebels or Capitolites who don't get aid in time?

Sorry. We tried.

We would like to remind you however, that saving someone from the dark grip of death isn't the only thing people can offer. Around the city, items can be found. Get these items while you can. There may not be anything to scavenge them later.
