Events
Red Rover
Capitol-Soldiers have been kept and forced to serve the Capitol for three days into the final battle. Those who've been unable or unwilling to serve the Capitol have been held as hostages. No longer. On day four, Rebel forces reach the Detainment Center. With heavy artillery and large numbers, the DC is torn apart. That's not to say those trapped inside can't help with the process. Try as Peacekeepers might, they are beaten down. All that remains is saving the rest of the unwilling Capitol-Soldiers.

Pods & Traps
Shredders
Invading rebels should be wary of open spaces, just as much as closed ones. While it might be easier to see the danger as it comes, they might also leave themselves open to surprises from below. The low rumbling starts first, moving the ground like an earthquake--until it becomes apparent that the ground is literally moving. Paved with artistically cut stones, these seemingly harmless roads slide back on themselves, revealing an abyss of screeching saw blades below. On point with their name, these traps are meant to shred anything that falls within their greedy maws. Can you make it back to the intersection where the sliding road is no longer pulling out from under your feet? Or can you find something to hang onto until the ground returns? Maybe you would rather take your chances ducking into a residence and hoping that no one is hiding in wait for you. Better decide quick, whatever you do.

Muttations
Shriekers
In the hive of scum and villainy that is the Capitol, it's only natural that in their rush to evacuate the city, a child might be left behind to fend for themself. However, these child-like creatures were not forgotten by their hapless parents. Dressed to look identical to a Capitol child, the Shriekers are capable of mimicking the sound of crying and pleas for help that might turn compassionate rebels away from their tasks. Only upon close inspection are they distinguishable from real human children--particularly by their black pupil-less eyes. However, should anyone venture that close, they will undoubtedly be disabled by sudden shrieking that the creature produces, capable of bursting eardrums and shattering any glass in the vicinity. Bleeding from the ears is not uncommon, nor is the resulting confusion or disorientation. While they will not harm their victims directly, their screams might alert others to come closer...

HOW THIS WORKS: Thank to the Games Insurance plan, everyone, even 4th wall-ers have 200 points. Getting rolled before the eighth round halts progress regardless, but HOW that progress is halted depends on if you're willing to pay up the points! This is all based on the war motives you supplied last week. If you pay forward, your result will be the one in brackets. If not, you take what you get! Once the character's progress has been halted, you are free to have them "escape" capture or heal their injury soon after and continue participating. Your endgame can be whatever you wish to make it!

If you contributed to the Games Insurance plan, your character gets one free hideout and one of any of the other items available for purchase.

Sponsorship Programme.
By our [always accurate and never at all leaked from inside sources] calculations, the above war survivors are presently at the most risk of death. If not sponsored by the end of the week, these survivors will find that status a lot more difficult to retain. Any and all of those wishing to offer aid must be willing to gamble. 200 Credits isn't too much to turn threats the other way, now is it?

Any Rebels or Capitolites who don't get aid in time?

Sorry. We tried.

We would like to remind you however, that saving someone from the dark grip of death isn't the only thing people can offer. Around the city, items can be found. Get these items while you can. There may not be anything to scavenge them later.
