Events
Hot Lava
The battle is only just beginning. Crews of rebels are preparing to enter the city whilst Capitolites are evacuated further away from the edges. While the latter are being kept largely in the dark, Rebels have managed to gather schematics of the current locations of pods within the Capitol. They're everywhere. The city itself may be more dangerous than arenas ever before. Getting in or out won't be easy. Especially with the Peacekeepers sent in to clean up what's left. Peacekeepers you've never looked too closely at... until now.

Pods & Traps
Creeping Hydra
Topiaries are not an uncommon sight in the Capitol, lining the streets and framing doorways in stylized shapes that used to be pleasing to the population that roamed the streets. Many of them have seen better days, singed as they are from the intense fighting throughout the city. Still others have been given some modifications. When triggered, these shapely bushes unleash a wave of tendrils from their roots, stretching out towards whoever may be in the vicinity. They are just as quick to wrapa round and ensnare their victims as they are to pierce limbs and torsos, growing a network of branching vines through muscle and around bone and bursting through flesh again. Hacking away at the base may stop growth, but there are always more tendrils to replace them.

Muttations
Acid Salamanders
Amphibious by nature, these creatures seek out the damp, dark places of the underground where they lie in wait for their unwary prey. Sound is their primary sense, and any undue noise is bound to provoke them into letting loose a blast of sickly sweet vapor. Anyone caught in this haze might find their mind playing tricks on them, visions dancing around them, but the hallucinations are only a distraction as the gas slowly seeps like poison into their veins. Take care not to disturb these creatures with your bare hands, either. Their mottled red and black skin oozes with corrosive mucus that can eat away flesh and muscle in a matter of seconds.

HOW THIS WORKS: Thank to the Games Insurance plan, everyone, even 4th wall-ers have 200 points. Getting rolled before the eighth round halts progress regardless, but HOW that progress is halted depends on if you're willing to pay up the points! This is all based on the war motives you supplied last week. If you pay forward, your result will be the one in brackets. If not, you take what you get! Once the character's progress has been halted, you are free to have them "escape" capture or heal their injury soon after and continue participating. Your endgame can be whatever you wish to make it!

If you contributed to the Games Insurance plan, your character gets one free hideout and one of any of the other items available for purchase.

Sponsorship Programme.
By our [always accurate and never at all leaked from inside sources] calculations, the above war survivors are presently at the most risk of death. If not sponsored by the end of the week, these survivors will find that status a lot more difficult to retain. Any and all of those wishing to offer aid must be willing to gamble. 200 Credits isn't too much to turn threats the other way, now is it?

Any Rebels or Capitolites who don't get aid in time?

Sorry. We tried.

We would like to remind you however, that saving someone from the dark grip of death isn't the only thing people can offer. Around the city, items can be found. Get these items while you can. There may not be anything to scavenge them later.
