Welcome to our game-wide plotting meme! This is a place to brainstorm, bounce ideas off of each other, and plan anything you'd like, plot wise. The sole purpose is to foster connection between players and create fun times, so go forth and make a friend! Or an enemy, if that's your jam! And remember that getting all new CR is always a plus!

Character: Kurloz Makara
Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Non-soldier/Stylist atm (Soon to change that status).
Basic personality: Brainwashed self-punishing kid sabotages life and friends out of misguided attempt at everything.
What has happened to them recently?: Kurloz has been working as a stylist for the Capitol propos and has been trying to visit people in the DC in attempt to make them renounce their evil ways and join the right side a.k.a the Capitol. He is upset by but still pretty removed from war. However his friends keep getting hurt and now Meulin's been kidnapped.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Kurloz is preparing to become everything he hates and is seeing if he can dig up some of that old white armor. He'll be joining in on the next battle. Also he's getting his friends brainwashed left and right for "their own good". I am looking for Kurloz's abject misery in the Capitol to come to a peak and maybe hopefully someone will help him fix his own brainwashing.

Character: The Initiate
Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Non-soldier
Basic personality: disillusioned alien war-vet/child soldier comes to terms with the fact that he is still an asshole afterall despite attempts for otherwise.
What has happened to them recently?: Initiate killed some people after Terezi died and it was horrible all around. He received many injuries. Then in the power plot he knocked himself into a coma and put a big old scar on his mind+soul with fear, so now he's ugly inside and out. He's currently recovering in all ways and is effectively removing himself from battle in a surprise twist. He's currently wheeling around D13 with a glasgow smile and a (mostly) privately negative outlook on the rebellion's fate.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'm behind again but once I'm caught up I will be looking to further establish things with newer CR and strengthen that all up. I want him to reach a point where he offers mercy and second chances to people who may not be all that great (like himself) and he could use some encouraging words from others to bring him there if possible.

Harleen Quinzel // Al

Current or Ideal Role: Soldier
Basic personality: After some extensive torture and reprogramming Harleen has become a timid, meek and shy little thing that feels like she's a waste of everyone's time and efforts. She's apologetic about everything involving her former life and can't even think about life back then without getting a headache. She does genuinely want to help others though and while she's scared half to death when she's thrust in front of people, and even worse when she's thrust into battle. However when she's on the battle field instinct takes over to keep her alive and could very well cause her to hurt or kill others.
What has happened to them recently?: After a battle in District 9 Harley was killed, tortured and reprogrammed. Now she's trying to adjust to her new life as Harleen Quinzel.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I signed her up for the valentines plot so we'll see how that goes.

Basic personality: Would-be gallant knight with the honour and fighting skills to match, and a mess of insecurities beneath.
What has happened to them recently?: Literally just arrived, settling in as far as possible in the Detainment Centre and learning about the place she's supposed to fight for, while thoroughly despising all of it.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'm planning to put her into the Valentines plot, so if anyone would like to build CR through that I'm game. She's still very new and I'd love to get her out there some more.

Emily Finch | Hannah

Character: Emily Finch
Current Allegiance: Capitol, soon to defect to the Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Propaganda
Basic personality: Introverted, serious, but friendly Victor with PTSD and a ton of guilt about her Games.
What has happened to them recently?: Emily went out to the fighting in Seven as a propaganda symbol, and was inside her house in the Victor's Village when it exploded (thanks to her rebel brother), so she's been recovering from wounds for a while as well as moving deeper into her relationship with Beck and trying to play the part of a good Capitolite.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: She's going over to the Rebellion in the next shuffle, so this is your last chance if there's specific Capitol CR you'd like with her. Speaking of which, if anyone on the Rebel side wants to be involved in persuading her over to their side/capturing her during the next District battles, that would be great, as well as new and existing CR on the Rebel side once she's over there.

Character: Jeremy Fitzgerald
Current Allegiance: Rebels
Current or Ideal Role: Currently soldier, could be taught healing duties, anything of the sort.
Basic personality: Quiet, shy and awkward, and incredibly guilty. Jeremy's got a lot of regrets since the war started, so even though he's afraid to go back out there on the battlefield, he's determined to do whatever it takes to make up for what he did under the Capitol's control. He's just not very good at it.
What has happened to them recently?: Jeremy's been rescued from the Capitol's control and de-brainwashed, but he's still recovering from events prior. While under the Capitol's control he was given mind control powers, and he took full advantage of it, using it to tell opponents to use their own weapons on themselves and all sorts of horrible things. He stayed in the D13 prison until he felt ready to try helping the rebels again - but that didn't go well with the D9 missions going to the Capitol and another encounter with brainwashing. As a result, Jeremy doesn't remember going on the mission at all or anything that happened (to make plotting easier) and is currently trying to get hammered in the D13 moonshine log.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Since arriving in Panem, Jeremy's been dealt blow after blow to his psyche and self-esteem, so I would really like something positive for him to help cheer him up and encourage him to get out and be more social, rather than being reclusive and fearful of the Capitol getting ahold of him again. Also, if any plots allow for powers, Jeremy still has mind-reading and mind control abilities that could prove useful, even though he is reluctant to use them again.

Character: Phil Gray/Phone Guy
Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Healer/Cook
Basic personality: Eternal optimist and overall phonedad
What has happened to them recently?: Phil was formerly a mentor for District 6 then war started. He was sent to D13 and currently works as a cook and staff to the infirmary. It's been one hell of a mixed bag with him, reuniting with friends and loved ones while watching the war unfold and friends tortured or forced to serve the Capitol. This was especially seen when he snapped at Jeremy and let his rage and frustrations boil over.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Phone Guy's holding down the fort over at Thirteen and those who come into the District are welcome to join or get taught stuff! He's not a fighter and given the last outcomes of the District Liberations, has accepted the probability of being sent back and dying permanently. He's done enough good somewhere!

Luna | Steph

Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Healer
Basic personality: Pacifist robot with an inferiority complex. Involved in too many death games for her liking.
What has happened to them recently?: Luna's been reprogrammed so she can't disobey orders, which kind of sucks. She's been working nearly 24/7 in the infirmary when not aiding in district battles, and recently she helped save the kids in D9 before getting her arm wrecked.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Overall my goals for Luna are to get her thinking more about freedom and choice, and I'd love for more CR to help her and/or challenge her along this road, new or old! I really want Luna to do something she'll hate herself for, because of her orders - opposing or neglecting people who need help because they're rebels, for example. I'm entertaining the idea of bringing her over to D13 again later on and maybe back to the Capitol later, but haven't decided yet.

Current or Ideal Role: Soldier
Basic personality: Silent Hill's chewtoy and a barrel of issues.
What has happened to them recently?: The universe hates James but he canonically deserves it. Ever since the War broke out, he's being fighting and getting captured by the Capitol but he tries and that's what counts in his eyes. Before all this, Sunderland finally managed to get his feelings across with Clara and overall doesn't mind getting captured and subjected to torture as long as she's safe.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'll be tossing him into the Valentine's day plot because it's going to be hilarious. Painful for him because canon but hilarious for me.

Character: Augustus Sinclair
Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Providing the Capitol with funds and weapons
Basic personality: Wall Street entitlement meets Southern fried bitchiness, Panem edition
What has happened to them recently?: On the business side, Sinclair is thriving amidst the mess that is the war, as his investments in D1, D8 and D9 have been secured. Inside however, he may be starting to unravel as he discovers Jason Compson was a traitor and dragged Swann down to Thirteen. He will be more vicious as times goes on, letting Capitol prejudices take over his decision-making process. He wants the lost district to burn.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He might be in the Valentine's plot for appearances but if you want to poke this guy and egg him on with his losses, your funeral have at it! Just know he won't take fools lightly.

Sigma Klim

Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Engineer, Tactician
Basic personality: Local man ruins everything. Kind, awkward old man tries really hard to do the right thing, even if it means he must get his hands dirty, ends up failing in horrible and spectacular ways and making things worse to his absolute shock.
What has happened to them recently?: Made a huge ass of himself at the D4 house. Was interrogated for being a rebel spy, is now on his best behavior. Worked with Quintus and Shepard to save the Peacekeepers, fought for the Capitol on the battlefield of District 9, was killed when his brainwashing scheme involving Jeremy backfired on him. Woke up in the Capitol recently.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Right now I have no plans for Sigma, but I'd love to be involved in yours! Let me know if you'd like to do something with a Gamemaker. One thing I haven't had the opportunity to play is that Sigma owes a massive debt and hasn't been quick to pay it off, but I'm not sure what kind of character would be involved with a plot like that. Just food for thought, I guess!

Basic personality: He's loud, loves adventure, and loves mayonnaise.
What has happened to them recently?: He's been serving as your basic mindless brainwashed grunt during the District missions, though during his last mission in D8, he ran into Haruto and had some of that brainwashing cleared out a bit. Outside of District missions, he's been wondering why he's got all these weird gaps in his memory and mostly normal.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Dude wants to rebel pretty badly at this point. Anyone who could get him an in to the rebellion would be someone he'd definitely want to make friends with, and he could also use other "oops, I've been brainwashed" friends. He's also been signed up for the Valentine's plot, so hey, going to see what happens there.

Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Soldier
Basic personality: Gentle, easygoing, studious murder machine. Very intelligent, but not very quick. Determined to win this war to make up for not seeing the end of the one in his own world.
What has happened to them recently?: Since getting his gun back in the plot a couple of months back, Alain has been training and helping other Rebels train between missions. His two District missions have been eventful: in D7 he wound up fighting Roland, and in D9 he took plot-messages to both Firo and Altair.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'd love anything! He'll be quite active in D13, especially around the shooting ranges, so if you want a starter it would be easy to have him approach your Rebel character. I'd also really like someone to draw him out on the subject of what happened with Roland, which he hasn't really talked about yet.

Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Soldier, media talking head
Basic personality: Sexy Russian mercenary with a heart of bitch
What has happened to them recently?: Molotov got married, which she is extremely pleased about. She does not harbor delusions about her dumb supervillain husband, but she loves him all the same. She's a Capitol soldier, used mostly in stealthier missions, and she's still under contract to do media appearances despite the PNN tragedy. She recently lost her protege/adoptive daughter, and also her platonic boyfriend. Molotov also designs and models underwear, so that's cool.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Molotov's real allegiance is to herself and Tom, so she is totally open to being approached for ~non-sanctioned~ missions (if you got that cash). She is also real pissed at D13 right now, thanks to them kidnapping Ford and also killing Black Tom a few times. Negative CR will be easy to get that way.

Basic personality: Bubbly, motherly, hella gay Stylist who deals with her fundamental loneliness by ferociously caring for the people around her.
What has happened to them recently?: She's been doing Stylist work for the propos, and starred in one of them. She recently came clean to Emily about her District connections.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I would love love love more Capitol CR for her. I'm also struggling with her activity, so any ideas for plots are more than gratefully received! She'll stay in a non-combatant role unless she has literally no choice, but she'll be active in propaganda and other war effort campaigns in the Capitol.

Sansa Stark | Jormy

Current or Ideal Role: Non-combatant, ideally propaganda but that hasn't happened yet
Basic personality: Thirteen-year-old girl goes through hell, comes out with impressive skills in manipulation and politics. Also, is somehow still a kind, gentle person.
What has happened to them recently?: Arya leaving hit Sansa hard. She's been doing her best to hide it, but she's still very shaken and upset. She's living with Tom and Molotov, trying to stay out of their way in case they decide not to keep looking after her now Arya's gone. She's been working with the fashion house that was hiring her during the Games, and has just recently started taking a hand in designing her own line. She's trying to ignore the war as much as possible, but she does keep visiting the DC to see Luna.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I just want her and Luna to be happy what is this pain no but seriously anything's good. She'll be in the Valentine's plot, so that's a thing.

Swann Honeymead

Current Allegiance: Hahaha she's defected to D13 because of Jason, but she's Capitol at heart
Current or Ideal Role: Currently, she is absolutely useless. Ideally, she would be used as a hostage.
Basic personality: Sugary sweet candy coating with a nasty core of clinical depression
What has happened to them recently?: HAHA she ran away with Jason to D13 and got let in because who better to have as a hostage than the Capitol's media conglomerate heiress? However, she is faring really badly. She's currently in the clinic because her depression over leaving her home (including her Avox and father) has gotten so bad that she basically started starving herself to death. She's pretty much just chained to a hospital bed on a feeding tube.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: ANYONE WHO CAN GET HER PETS BACK TO HER WILL PROBABLY BE HER NEW BFF and might get her back to not being actively suicidal. Otherwise, it would be cool for her to ultimately be used as a tool by the Rebellion -- remember, she's a famous socialite with a daddy who works in tandem with Snow to control the entire media of Panem. Speaking of, if you are Capitol-side, there is currently a whole lot of coverage of her 'kidnapping' by the traitor Jason Compson.

It might be something of a stretch, but if Haruto did find out that there's some poor pitiful Capitol hostage who seems to have lost all hope... well, he's not actually going to be any good at fixing this, but he'd at least be someone that could try and get her those pets back. If he winds up in the infirmary for whatever reason (if that's where she is) he'd try talking to her, at least?

Éowyn | Jormy

Character: Éowyn of Rohan
Current Allegiance: Capitol (unwillingly)
Current or Ideal Role: Hostage/prisoner/occasional Healer
Basic personality: Stubborn asshole with an overdeveloped sense of honour, will stab you in the face if she has to. Also thoroughly claustrophobic and bad at being a prisoner.
What has happened to them recently?: Mainly, she's been pacing. A lot. A while back, she and Firo were involved in the power shutdown plot on behalf of the Rebellion; following that, she was put in solitary confinement, which pushed her very nearly to the breaking point. She's visibly struggling, having lost a lot of weight and unable to stay still. She's done a little work healing her fellow detainees after missions.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I'm toying with her attempting to break out (whether or not she's successful I don't know yet, and it's quite possible that may end in her death); the only thing keeping her going is the knowledge that the Capitol has the One Ring and she has to stop them. I haven't figured that out yet, though. Other than that, I'm up for most CR, especially if anyone wants to challenge her about her obvious failure to cope.

Altaïr ibn La-Ahad | miso

Character: Altaïr ibn La-Ahad
Current Allegiance: Capitol (rebel-sympathizing)
Current or Ideal Role: soldier
Basic personality: Disciplined but inquisitive and tenacious. Low bullshit tolerance. Forbidden to talk about his assassin profession back home, but is actively seeking allies independent of the Capitol/Thirteen conflict. Actually starved for friendship and affection, but will never admit it, which makes him awkward.

What has happened to them recently?: Altair was captured by the Capitol during the District 1 battle. I wanted to play with the notion that he's been in isolation and fooled into thinking the people he's talked to are rebels. The missions he's been given have all, unbeknownst to him, been to serve the Capitol. I thought about getting him some CR with Capitol loyalists who were willing to pretend to be rebels to pass him his missions, but the holidays waylaid that. It's still technically possible, but:

Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: During the last battle, in D9, he received actual rebel intel from Alain about the upcoming Valentine's plot (which hasn't finished threading due to rl kicking my ass). I tried to get anyone in D9 to reveal to him that he's been fooled by the Capitol during that battle, but i may be stuck in handwave hell with that (unless someone wants to swoop in on the backdate train, no sign-up required to encounter him on the anti-assassination mission).

SO he has just had his world shattered by finding out he's been working for the Capitol in their custody all this time. There are tentative plans for Quintus Falxvale to torture him on broadcast for freaking out and attacking him about that, so for now i'm assuming he's behind bars and not allowed to speak to anyone suspected of rebel leanings. And he STILL has the traitor's cuff from way back before the final reaping, i'm laughing so hard at that fact. Someone point it out to him.

I may want to switch him over to rebel side next roll, but we'll see.

I just want to say how excited I am for Altaïr to potentially be the one Quintus is torturing in that broadcast, since he witnessed the first time Quintus flew off the handle and did the same in Emily's dream a while back. If you do switch him over to the Rebels later on, I think they'd have a lot to talk about.

Character: Haruto Soma
Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Soldier
Basic personality: Relentlessly optimistic protagonist-sort who tries very hard to act cool and/or like none of this terrible stuff is actually getting to him.
What has happened to them recently?: He has recently failed at a mission to capture a vehicle full of supplies, has attempted to undo his friend Nitou's brainwashing, and is now coping with the loss of a lot of his D13 friends. He's trying very hard not to be visibly upset.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He's still waiting to find out if his attempt at hopping into someone's mind/soul/internal landscape was successful at de-brainwashing them, though he maybe should discuss the fact that he attempted this with someone. He's missing a lot of his friends/CR from D13 right now and as a result will be reaching out all the more aggressively to anyone that remains, so now's a good time to make new friends?

Character: Linden Lockhearst
Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Hacker/soldier (wherever he's needed most, he'll step in happily.)
Basic personality: Linden is known to most in Panem as that morphling addict Victor from D6 who was slowly killing himself with vices, but D13 has done wonders for revitalizing his sense of purpose and his will to live. Though Linden is somber and stunted and a little on the obsessive side, he's also clever, resourceful and adaptive.
What has happened to them recently?: In the most recent mission Linden was rolled as a soldier instead of a hacker; he's very determined to help out where he can and as he gets healthier, he's growing less content to sit off to the sidelines when he is able to contribute. When he is on the sidelines, though, he can often be seen with Temple, his on-again, off-again lover when they were in the Capitol and the ex-wife of the late Gowan Stevens (whose death Linden was involved with.)
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I want to get Linden into the swing of things as the game wraps up, and I'm up for a heck of a lot! I'm a little behind but I'm going to be tagging around a bit later and trying to catch up; as always, I'm up for both positive and negative CR; Linden shines a lot when his personality clashes with someone's but they have to work together, for example. I'm open to him being injured, captured or betrayed, and open to him injuring, capturing or betraying someone else. I really want something to happen with his and Temple's biological son. I want drama intrigue and passion! I'm... actually pretty easy because I want everything.

Character: Sandy Marko
Current Allegiance: Rebellion
Current or Ideal Role: Soldier/cafeteria staff
Basic personality: Sandy's mood has been on the rise since she arrived and was detoxed from the Capitol brainwashing. Even if the Rebellion loses some districts she's feeling better now that she's on the side that's actively trying to make the world better. She may not buy into the propaganda entirely but she's still happy to be here.
What has happened to them recently?: After spending a good long time being detoxed and unbrainwashed so that she wouldn't become an accidental threat to anyone, Sandy took a job in the kitchens so she could try and show a little sympathy to prisoners from the capitol, and so she could occasionally sneak snacks to people she cares about.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: It might do her some good to see the darker side of the rebellion, but other then that I want to get her active in the field next round...for better or worse.

Character: Albert Heinrich
Current Allegiance: Capitol
Current or Ideal Role: Soldier
Basic personality: Usually friendly when working towards something he believes in, Albert's turned much more stoic in the Capitol and mostly answers people with monosyllabic grunts and meaningful looks.
What has happened to them recently?: Due to Jet being all hopped up on brainwashy drugs, Albert had to shoot him out of the sky and then got captured when he ran to his downed husband. He's currently in the Captiol doing his best impression of an emotionless drone (aka on his best behavior until he can find a way to escape with his close CR)
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: He's going to be searching for a way to work under the table for the Rebellion while he's in the Capitol, but he knows they're watching him closely so he can't do anything at all overt. Daryl Dixon | Moz

Character: Daryl Dixon.
Current Allegiance: Rebellion.
Current or Ideal Role: Currently a soldier, ideally I might like to expand beyond that.
Basic personality: Pragmatic, guarded, intensely loyal. Able to quickly adapt to most situations and won't waste time complaining, he'll just get things done. He's generally even-tempered, outwardly cool and collected, with a sarcastic sense of humour. Inwardly, he worries endlessly about the people he cares for — the war is very much secondary to his concern for them — and struggles with the knowledge that he can only protect them so much. Because most of his motivations revolve around the people he cares for, without them he tends to lose direction.
What has happened to them recently?: He's been reliably doing his duty as a Rebel soldier in every liberation because he opposes the Capitol, while his true loyalty will always remain to his family and friends. Frankly he doesn't trust D13's leadership any more than he trusts Snow, but it seems the lesser evil right now. With Vivi's earlier disappearance/death and now Rick's capture during the District 9 liberation, his already frayed nerves have been unravelling. He's not in a good place, though he isn't likely to let this vulnerability show if he can help it. He has repression down to an art form. This leads to moonshining it up with Ellis in D13.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: Some of my earlier plans for Daryl didn't pan out, and I've been trying to come up with things to do with him so I'm not just drifting through end game. Developing closer CR with those he's on good terms with would definitely be nice. His crossbow skills are second to none and he finally has his bow back, so anything that might specifically call for them would be fun. Previously he worked as a mechanic and volunteer Peacekeeper in the Capitol. He has some pretty solid medical knowledge courtesy of Merlyn mentoring him, and also learned sign language ages ago because of Nill but has only ever had a chance to use it once ('on screen', anyway), with the Initiate. I'd welcome more reasons for him to use either. I've regrettably missed out on many of the events to advance the game-wide plot(s), mainly due to the timing or just not knowing how to fit him into them. So jumping in and getting involved with the game plot when and where possible is something I'll try to do more often.

I really really want to get these two on something friendly. I've loved how the first thread has been going and now that I'm free to tag, I'd like to do more with him. I could even have him ask Daryl to help him spread signing out, espec to other avoxes or as a rebellion tool or just because.

Meulin Leijon | Terra

Current Allegiance: Capitol (stuck in D13 and eventually coming back to rebel)
Current or Ideal Role: Noncombatant; ideally some writer/reporter/propos helper but not likely to happen before endgame
Basic personality: Romance obsessed and friendly girl is brainwashed from rebel to Capitol loving by her boyfriend, which is totally fine and not at all awful and traumatizing.
What has happened to them recently?: Meulin has been writing and doing some video recording for the Capitol in the Districts and recently costarred in a propo about hope. It was all going well until the fire nation attacked broke out in D9 and Meulin got snatched up to D13. She's being kept in a cell for the time being until she's deprogrammed enough not to just run away. Visiting hours are all the time. She's bored between attempts to get her back to normal.
Upcoming plots, wanted CR or other things to note about this character: I know her cr in D13 has been trying to nudge her back to rebel side, so I'd love to do more with that. Either with people just being nice to her or with people who got brainwashed and can try to help her with that or explain the faults in her logic. There's not a lot of grey to her black and white view of things but it's there.

I'm also up for negative cr if anyone wants to poke at the district girl. She DID just take part in a big propo and had been telling some half truths about everyone for months.
