Arena Update.

The second button has been pressed. Week two ends and week three begins with a deafening cacophony of bombs. Only one portion of the arena has been targeted but it that portion has all been completely wiped out. The western lowlands of the Medieval-Fantasy section are left to ash and ruin.

Come Away To The Water

Deep down below the waves, the undersea palace glistens by what little light gets through. It might be chilly down there, but it's undeniably a beautiful sight. Those who swim inside will find, where once the door was sealed, an opening has formed, it's clear you're meant to swim up inside.

To get here, you will have grabbed all the scuba supplies from the ship and the island. You are rewarded with a great number of treasures. Medicine, food, water, fresh clothes, a spear, knife, fire starting kit, a sleeping bag, and even a tent. There's also one fresh air tank. Excluding the air tank, it's all inside a water tight plastic contain with a buoy atop it, made so that it will all float right to the surface when you go to leave with it.

Well, one of you. It seems someone else has found this little cove. Both doors seal behind you and the water drains enough it's only knee-height. As time wears on, the place fills with water once more and you'll both find that your own air tanks no longer work. Only one of you will be leaving here.

Those who decide to participate must sign up by Wednesday October 14th at 11:59pm Eastern time. Those who sign up will then be assigned a target to fight within the castle. If you choose to participate, your Tribute will have a 50% chance of death with no buy-out option. However, if your character survives, they will have access to all the treasures promised them.

Close Quarters

If you somehow convinced yourself the city was safe, or at least safer during the day, your hopes are about to be crushed. Literally. There's a creaking groan in the pavement as the crumbling structures suddenly begin to shift. The buildings begin slamming together, right in the middle of roads in attempt to crush unwary Tributes. It's time to think fast and run even faster.

The buildings crunch and crash together, condensing the city to a smaller space to compensate for the steadily shrinking arena. This will be happening over the course of the week, until sure enough, there are no real paths left in the city. The only ways around are to climb over the fallen buildings and walk through the ones still standing, risking it with the undead within, or to go all the way back around to reach the other side.

Talk about close quarters living!
