Reminder: As of January 2015, all players must post to the Games' HMD at least twice a year, either using this HMD post as an HMD, or by commenting with a link to your private HMD or preferred method of contact.

This is not a love meme, however, that also doesn't mean it is a hate meme. Someone's driving can be good, feel free to say as much! Just try to give them an idea on how.

Also please make sure if you are asking for crit you are also giving it. If everyone only posts for themselves, no one will get any feedback. You don't need to comment to everyone, but we highly encourage everyone to comment to at least three other members with feedback.

Been feeling a little nervous about Wesker lately, as I've been trying to get him out a little more - especially as we head into endgame. If there's something you've seen or are uncomfortable with, please don't hesitate to mention it. I'll definitely try to fix it.

I... think all my guys have HMDs at their journals (anon off, IP on, just for disclosure), and I can always been reached via plurk (when it's not being an ass), and by PM any of the journals, of course.

I got extremely overextended over the summer and still feel like I haven't caught up from when I hiatused for the bar, but I've put measures in place to handle that and should be back on top of things shortly. While I'm still hoping to improve my activity and I know it's been suffering a lot in recent months, I am almost positive that once I am over the hurdle that is September things should start to be good again. I've put all my focus on just this game this month in hope that it helps things.

I feel things are pretty alright, character-directionwise, or at least as much as they can be with my activity.

Speed has been up and down but I've been working hard not to let things sit for long and have adopted a one-week turnaround policy that I've been doing my best to stick to. ...Yeah I really have no excuse for how terrible my activity has been lately except that I was planning to be a little more lax with it anyways. I'm slowly but surely working through the tag mountain as I type this and hopefully getting closer to wrapping up some of these older threads; if anybody wants me to prioritize a thread or handwave or whatever for the sake of speed and closure, please let me know!

Otherwise, looking for usual crit--any comments on Gary's characterization/motivations/reactions/actions in general? Anything about my writing in general that could use some work? Also have a personal HMD on this journal, if you'd rather take it there!

I'm so happy about the direction you've taken Gary. I admit I was expecting the 'upbeat and naive character is destroyed and made cynical by the crapsack world' plot, and it delights me that you've had Gary instead aggressively embrace the Capitol even as he gets more and more uncomfortable with it. He's growing up and seeing the Capitol more and more for what it is, but he's playing to his strengths and trying to make a comfortable situation for himself. I wouldn't call it selfish, exactly, but it definitely speaks to his priorities and I like that he isn't going the straight-up 'THIS IS SO WRONG OMG I WAS SO BLIND I MUST AID THE REBELLION' route in favor of 'this is how I have to survive here, so I'm going to throw myself into it'. Hopefully that's what you're going for!

Got Jet here and Bucky (hollowvictor, don't have a lot to say right now. I'm slow and on hiatus right now, but I'm trying to keep fairly regular on my speed otherwise. My only potential concern otherwise is voice and making sure no one sounds like anyone else.

In fact, over all, I find you a really easy person to thread and plot with. Very nice and very welcoming.

I don't think I've actually had a thread with Jet yet, but I have read some of what he's been up to and I'd definitely say that he and Bucky have distinct voices. They don't read alike to me at all.

I feel like I've been pretty strong this cycle with tagouts which is something I've always struggled on, but I also want to know if there's anything I could improve on voice-wise with my characters--are they sounding IC?

Both my people have HMDs with IP logging off and anon on in each of their journals, and Peggy has an opt-out post if you ever want to either partially or wholly avoid her, since she is ICly involved with a lot of OOCly touchy stuff.

Right now, I'm on a slowatus while I get settled back in school. My tagging speed with my older threads recently slowed down so I could keep up with the more recent threads, but overall, I try to be pretty consistent with speed when I'm not on a slow/hiatus. Go ahead and let me know if you have any concerns.

I really liked the tags with Adella and Shilo that I had, but my threads with you got dropped only a few comments in each time. It's been very discouraging, and given that one of our threads was a paired plot thread, left me feeling hamstringed. At first I thought it was something I had done wrong or that you weren't interested in negative CR, but then I noticed that you drop threads fairly often. If it's the health issues, that's understandable, but I've noticed it's been a habit throughout your time here.

You are a very good writer, and I would love a chance to get CR with Adella, especially since I play close CR for Cullen, but not if the thread is going to be dropped two comments in. I think if you worked on your followthrough you could really make Adella a force in the game, and that sounds like something you want to do.

I fell down and crashed pretty hard on the dream event, and I feel super-bad about it. It has made me realize that I need to alter my RP load/be careful how much I take on/stay more on top of the stuff that I plot. If anyone has any good advice in that regard, I am very much open to it! My reliability is the thing that I want to work on the most.

I'd also like to know if my characters have sufficiently solid voices, if they're engaging and interesting to play with, if my writing's been up to par... crit of any sort is very much welcome, and you can leave it here or at the HMDs on their journals.
