Capitol Plot Volunteers Needed! (Mid-Arena Madness, Part Two, Electric Boogaloo)
That's right, we've got two things for you today! As with every arena, we try to set up something to go on in the Capitol. This time will involve something that effects those even well beyond it.
This will be tied in with information received during the Blind Date mini-plot but not everyone will need to have done this plot as well (only one or two). In fact, it should be said again that this plot has no specific tie to any particular allegiance either. You can be pro-capitol, pro-rebel, pro-tribute, or anything at all.
The things we do need for this plot to work are people with even slight amount of detective skill, who are able to work with a team to piece things together. Peacekeeper types are welcome, and scientist or two as well (namely someone who can identify a blood sample).
Secondly, any arena characters signed up will need to be killed in week 4 in time for this plot. Non-arena characters (excluding d13) will of course have no issue.
The plot will go down in a few days during a very big party. If you are interested, please sign up here before June 17th Midnight EST
Of course, while we won't actually be pulling any sort of "rocks fall and everyone dies", ICly, this threat will be very real for many characters and those doing the detective work will be depended on to solve the case. Before it's too late.
May the odds be ever in your favor...

Character name: Kurt Wagner
Position: Tribute
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? He blends in with shadows and can climb up into weird places. Good for spying?
Friday evening, at the ball
But then, just like that, she's gone. The party calls.

Character name: Harley Quinn
Position: District 9 Mentor
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Harley has experience in deductive reasoning and problem solving having spent enough time committing crimes and working for other criminals. She thinks outside the box and has a surprisingly sharp eye for detail when she's focused on a task.

Character name: Linden Lockhearst
Position: District 6 Mentor
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Linden's deductive reasoning is fantastic; he's sharp, clever, good at catching small details, and has an incredible memory that helps with all of these things. He was a small-time amateur sleuth in his District ("finding lost things") before he was Reaped and has a little bit of a reputation for having really shrewd intuition and a knack for investigation, puzzles and problem-solving to the point where Stephen already pretty much recruited him for the rebellion for hacking, spying and information gathering (ie, where are these blind spots.) Like any classic Victor, he has his fans and his connections. He's also pretty skilled with Panem's computers and knows his way around a train and/or hovercraft, being from D6 and a former factory worker.

Character name: Terezi Pyrope
Position: Tribute/Junior Peacekeeper
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Absolutely. Terezi's whole shtick is being an investigator of sorts. She's very perceptive and logical, and she tends to notice things that others might write off as unrelated. She also has her foresight available while she's in the arena right now, so seeing ominous things ahead of time is a possibility, since she's scrying for Capitol things already.

Character name: Rose Lalonde
Position: Tribute (District 5)
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Rose is intelligent and good at both gathering information from whatever sources are available and piecing it together to find meaning and plans to suit.

Character name: Quintus Falxvale
Position: Security coordinator of the Training Center
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Quintus has been working in law enforcement in some capacity for the past fifteen years--in the Districts, then Capitol city surveillance, then at the Training Center--and he's certainly been involved in investigating crimes before. Legally speaking, if stuff goes down at the Center, that's his jurisdiction; if it goes down elsewhere in the Capitol and seems connected in some way to people at the Center, there's a possibility he'll get dragged into it. He's technologically savvy and can probably hack/obtain information that way if needed.
I'm also always open to him making announcements or passing news along in an official capacity if needed!

Character name: Peggy Carter
Position: Mentor
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? She is very good at working in teams and taking charge without making people feel like she stole leadership. As a spy for many years, she knows the value of information and how to put it all together into workable conclusion. She has an eye for detail and an ability to put people at ease to give her more to work with. In the process of spying, she's also built a lot of relationships with rich sources of information, so they would be ready to give her info and let her into less public areas without raising an eyebrow.

Character name: Temple Drake
Position: Escort D8
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Does Temple have any specific skills in anything? The jury's still out.

Character name: Derek Souza
Position: District 4 Mentor
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Derek is extremely intelligent, especially when it comes to logic. He's got a lot of book smarts especially related to science in particular, and assuming he had the equipment he could likely identify a blood sample! He's also adapt at making himself easy to overlook and has gained a lot of information in the past by cultivating his image as dumb, unimportant, and totally not a threat at all.

Character name: Shilo Wallace
Position: D2 Mentor
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? She tends to move quietly and blend in with her surroundings, avoiding people noticing her. She's also pretty observant and inquisitive when she wants to be, but otherwise not particularly.

Character name:Nick
Position: Tribute
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Nick's just your average zombie apocalypse survivor, but because of that he doesn't really stand out and can easily eavesdrop on things. He's good at looking like he's minding his own business.

Character name: Cassian Bouchard
Position: D7 stylist
Do they have any specific skills suited to detective work and problem solving? Cassian is good at reading people--particularly Capitolites. He can pick up body language and he's used to using it to try to figure out people--Mostly, what they want to hear, and how to get them to like him. He's not good at being stealthy, but he's probably the best distraction you could hope for.
