Capitol-Style Blind Dating!
Surprise, surprise!
That's right boys and girls, it's time for Capitol Blind Date. This edition is brought to you by The Swift Cut restaurant, home to the Medieval Barbarian Banquet and proud sponsors of Arena 14.
How it Works
Tribute's may sign themselves up or be signed up by their Escorts and Mentors (for those Tribute's who would not sign themselves up but whose muns still want them to participate). Once sign-ups are closed each Tribute will be randomly matched by RNG to another as their blind date. In the case of an odd number of sign-ups one lucky date will consist of 3 participants.
After all match-ups have been handed out there will be an event log posted where Tribute's will make their way to The Swift Cut restaurant provided only with a table number. This is to make sure the reveal of who their date is will be kept secret as long as possible. The whole thing is going to be filmed by a television crew to broadcast for the Capitol audience later after all, so they want to get the most dramatic reactions possible! Remember, the Capitol loves a good story, so dates going disastrously will be as entertaining to them as one's that go perfectly.
And that's not all, a small number of partners/groups will be selected for the chance to overhear some very important plot relevant info. They will want to hang onto this when they hear it because in very short time, they may find themselves needing it again. They do not have to be of any particular alliance to overhear this.
For those without Tribute characters, or whose Tribute's are still in the arena, have no fear! Tribute's won't be the only one's able to get in on the action, Staff and Capitolites alike are also welcome to sign up as part of a charity event; though they will only be matched up with other Staff and Capitolites to keep in line with the rules on fraternisation.
You have until June 15th Midnight EST to sign your characters up for this event. If your character is in arena, they will need to die this week or at the very beginning of week 4
The age limit on this event is 16 and over only. Characters aged below 18 will only be matched with those of a similar age.
