D13 Sign-ups and Week 1 Powers RNG
If you are interested in having your character be moved to District 13 following death this arena, please state so in the applicable header below. Just a simple heads up is all we need at this time.
If you are looking to have your character use their powers at any point during the first week please say so here so it can be RNG'd by fillowing you the info below. This applies to those with Non-Constant powers, and Constant powers who push their ability into action. If you have any questions regarding powers refer to this post.
Powers RNG are based on chance of injury. There will be an instance of the gamemakers punishing them regardless, but it may not necessarily hurt them. First try is a 20 of 100 chance of injury. Second is 40 of 100, third is 60, fourth is 80 (at which point it caps out). Second tries and on also include a chance of death that increases in percentile per usage. Be aware of what your power may cost.
May the odds be ever in your favor.

Powers RNG Week 1
no subject
Power: Going to get a burst of adrenaline to sprint ahead of the Cornucopia rush, and possibly do some shoving around with superhuman strength if anyone gets too close during the window when his powers are active.
Usage: First!
Notes: I mentioned that he'd be using his powers in the Cornucopia sign-ups, but they weren't mentioned in the mod response SO I'm assuming the consequences need to be determined separately. If not, ignore this, I'm a derp

Power: Foresight. She can see/read the future in a bunch of snapshots with an choice-->consequence sort of basis. Choice 1 causes Thing 1, Choice 2 causes Thing 2; so she picks which Choice lands better odds for her, etc.
Usage: First
Notes: She's going to be scrying pretty hard about a lot of things as soon as she realizes she can, including: How to get Initiate out of the Capitol safely, how to get herself through the cornucopia safety, and ultimately how to avoid the consequences of using her powers. A very hasty and scattered back-and-forth-between-things deal--focusing more on the last two, once she realizes that powers are causing bad things to happen.

Due to the nature of Terezi's abilities and her survival, you are welcome to choose whether it will be lightening, fire, collapsing arena parts, or rats/animals that become her threat.
no subject
Power: Psychic outreach, mind-reading, as well as some feeling for how events will unfold.
Usage: First (well, it's constant and low-level, actually, but the first time he'll use them intentionally)
When/where: At the Cornucopia, to try and get a handle on his surroundings and opposition, he'll reach out with the Touch as soon as he feels that he has it back.
Notes: Alain is supposed to get hurt at the Cornucopia. I thought maybe this could be what causes it?
no subject
Due to the nature of Alain's abilities and his survival, you are welcome to choose whether it will be lightening, fire, collapsing arena parts, or rats/animals that become his threat.
Re: Powers RNG Week 1
Power: He'll be using his waterbending for healing, which includes gathering up a bunch of water, making it glow, and holding it to someone. He'll also probably be earthbending or lightning redirection to defend himself from threats that come with power usage, but that depends on the threat.
Usage: First
When/where: Sometime after the Cornucopia, probably in the castle's courtyard.
Notes: He's basically just using his healing to help along Bucky's brain healing. There's nothing inherently subversive or super destructive about it.
Question: should we RNG every minor use of power, or are we allowed discretion with it when it's not involving combat/healing/using physical advantages for purposes of winning the game? For example, if I have Aang practicing his bending forms alone in a field somewhere, should I RNG that or am I allowed to decide what consequences he suffers from it?
no subject
Due to the nature of Aang's abilities and his survival, you are welcome to choose whether it will be lightening, fire, collapsing arena parts, or rats/animals that become his threat for the first try.
However, as waterbending and using bending to redirect consequences counts for two different tries, Aang would be rolled again. Aang's second try with his powers would not be successful and would involve an injury for him.
While minor power usage as you describe (where it does not provide any advantage) need not be RNG'd, we ask that all use gets recorded here for mod reference. On count of a power use not requiring RNG, we expect that players will play out the consequences on their own. Please note that as Aang redirects the consequences, the Gamemakers will seek to use a different form of attack the next time, i.e. if lightening is redirected, the next attack will not be lightening.
Re: Powers RNG Week 1
Power: Shooting laser beams out of wood and also controlling trees and turning into a tree man. So first and second.
Usage: Not entirely sure, but he's definitely going to channel heat/fire/force through his morning star, then head to the woods and have a second incident of going all tree man.
When/where: Cornucopia, forest
Notes: None.
no subject
Black Tom's first threat will be sudden fires. His second threat will be rats/animals.
Re: Powers RNG Week 1
Power: Teleportation, healing powers, laser beams.
Usage: First, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth at least.
When/where: Anywhere and everywhere in the Arena.
Notes: V's plan is to burn out fast and hard so I anticipate she dies in week one.
no subject
However, Venus's third and fourth tries result in injuries.
Venus's fifth try rolls her for death.
Due to the nature of Venus's abilities, you are welcome to choose whether lightening, fire, collapsing arena parts, or rats/animals that become her threats. Please note that for each threat avoided, the gamemakers will seek to unleash a different threat.
Re: Powers RNG Week 1
Power: Regeneration. It's a constant power, but he'll be putting in the extra focus to make recovery even faster (his normal time is in seconds, so I'm imagining it'll be about a minute or two now?).
Usage: first
When/where: The bay/ship area
Notes: Nothing I can think of
no subject
Firo's first threat will be the ire of the fish, sea creatures, and sirens.
no subject
Power: Healing (from scratches to mending broken bones - I have no set plans for what it will be used on, but those are the range of possibilities)
Usage: First
When/where: At the Cornucopia, but after the chaos has settled.
Notes: No notes but a question!
So usually mana needs to build up a moment to fuel a spell (especially without a staff handy), if she were planning to build up for a spell but changed her mind or the spell was just never completed; would it need the RNG or need to be recorded?
no subject
Fiona's first threat will be fire spreading unnaturally rapid from the cornucopia.
And if she does not use the power the RNG is not necessary! Recording is not either.
no subject
Power: Going to take to the skies with a +1 of Sam Wilson along for the ride
Usage: First
When/where: Sometime in the first few days, they'll likely be aiming to go everywhere they can since it's half recon and half resource gathering.
Notes: N/A right now
no subject
Jet's first threat will be a flock of angry crows.
no subject
Power: Running around at the speed of sound-
Usage: First through the hundredth
When/where: Literally everywhere, through at least half of week one until he realizes the correlation.
Notes: No attempts to destroy the arena, but the first time he uses his powers, it'll be to take a few solid laps around the arena to scope the place out, after that, Pietro is likely to uses it in small spurts because he's used to using it even just to take two steps. This will likely be a constant for him, so if those small spurts don't need to be RNG'ed, a rough idea of the types of things coming for him when he does them would be cool.
no subject
Pietro's first threat will be falling arena parts. His second threat will be sudden fires.
Pietro's third try results in injury from the lightening, after his two laps around the arena. Pietro's fourth will also result in injury from the same if he chooses to risk it. His fifth try will be successful where he will be chased by wild boars. Sixth will result in another lightening injury.
(As one hundred is a very high number, we will not roll for all of them, but simply until a point where Pietro takes a hint and reduces his use to emergencies. If he does so...)
no subject
Power: Teleportation, within visual range of wherever he ported from for this first week.
Usage: First, but in multiple instances so it could count for like... 4 or 5? I will lessen the number to avoid being rolled for death this early in his first arena so please let me know. Essentially, he'll be trying to teleport in short bursts from the Cornucopia several feet at a time into a building in the village before he realizes that's the cause of the threats/beacon.
When/where: Away from the Cornucopia, no further than the outskirts of the village.
Notes: The way that Kurt's powers work is he moves through an alternate dimension called 'middleverse' for a split second before appearing in another location in his dimension. It's not long enough for the Gamemakers to lose him via chip, I'm certain, but any computers tracking it might freak out for a second then find him again.

Power: Barrier. Basically throws up a magical shield that has to be broken before any harm can come to those targeted by the spell.
Usage: first
When/where: at the cornucopia, after she regains her senses when her hand splits open, she'll throw the barrier up around her and Cullen when he gets to her.
Notes: Not sure if she'll be doing more magic this week or not yet, I'll make another comment if it looks like she will. (not even sure if this one will happen, just making the post just in case!)

Adella's first threat will be angry animals/rats.
forgot to post this earlier 'cuz i'm a loser
Power: Shapeshifting, conjuration, some healing, talking to animals.
Usage: First, second, third, maybe fourth.
When/where: First case will be at the Cornucopia, shapeshifting into a bird to try and get away faster. Second will be in the castle, conjuring up some yarn and knitting needles. I don't know about other ones, since they're likely to develop in-game, but they'll probably be in the castle still.
Notes: Merlyn is liable to keep using his powers in stupid ways because he's an idiot, but none of them will be directly anti-Capitol.
no subject
Merylyn's first threat will be a flock of angry crows. His second will be sudden fire. Due to lack of of information regarding the later uses, you are free to choose.
Re: Powers RNG Week 1
Power: Telekinesis used to fly away from the Cornucopia
Usage: First
When/where: Cornucopia
Notes: His powers seem to manifest electrically, as this very flashy red and blue gif shows. Since plans to blind him via magic wand fell through, it's my hope that he gets struck by lightning as punishment. If so, he would involuntarily channel most of it out his eyeballs as an optic blast (versus dying of a fried brain), and wake up blind as a result.
no subject
The Ψiioniic's first threat will be lightening.
no subject
Power: Prophecy of death
Usage: Second
When/where: 3-ish days into the arena; Catacombs
Notes: He will try and succeed at having a vision, though he can't control what it's of. He will see Rose Lalonde's death (most likely by plague) while hiding in the Catacombs. When she finds him there, he will tell her about it.
no subject
The Ψiioniic's second threat will be bats.
no subject
Power: Black magic! Specifically stop, which is a non-damaging spell that freezes the target in time.
Usage: First.
When/where: During the first week, after the cornucopia run. He, Rick, and Daryl are gonna be camping by the trees in which one of the trees attacks the zombros. Vivi's to save them by casting "stop" on it, since casting a flame spell could burn them too and he doesn't want that.
Notes: He won't try that, nope! I'm fine with Vivi getting mildly injured and both Rick and Daryl mun are okay with them suffering injuries too, but we're asking for no death to happen please!
no subject
Vivi's threat will be: fire.
