yet another Homestuck

Hey everyone! This is Nabi, player of your resident Karkat, now bringing you another Homestuck. This time it's Rose Lalonde, who is pretty different from that short, angry dude.

Rose is:
- snarky, sarcastic, and over acquainted with a thesaurus
- an avid knitter
- a majestic wizardress magic user
- a former vessel for dark powers granted by tentacled Outer Gods
- liable to hate this place but do a good job of playing nice anyway
- until she has chance to explode things
- still 13 years old

To those of you familiar with canon, she's taken from the middle of Cascade, just before the bomb goes off.

She'll be in District 5 with a score of 7, but she won't be showing up until the start of the arena. Which will be very disorienting and a lot to deal with, fun times. I've got a plotting comment for her (and Karkat) over here!

Edit: Also notable is that Fritz suggested she'll be assigned the Initiate's former room. Won't be relevant until after the arena, but I'm sure some characters may notice then.

Ahaha oh boy, Sigma's probably not going to be happy about the room reassignment :P Well, I hope I have the chance to play with Rose nonetheless! (And there needs to be a knitting club in the Tribute Tower, I think.)

Just a quick question for you, Nabi! As he is a Gamemaker-in-Training, would you be okay if Sigma were to be present for Rose's scoring? It would help him to learn her score and her name. He won't be present for every scoring session, so if you'd rather he not, that's fine too! :) Either way, looking forward to see Rose in the Arena.

Yes to all this!! I would love for Sigma and Rose to meet somehow, and I am totally down with him having been there for her scoring. She's going to be very noticeable in the arena too, between one of the fancy wands exploding in her hand and then later causing general chaos once she makes some fake ones out of sticks or whatever. I intend for her to eventually go down while trying to explode stuff after catching the plague.

Also hell yes knitting club.

Generally I will say that she'll be wary of him, knowing he's obviously someone employed by the Capitol, but she'll be pretty good at keeping a lid on it. She'll need to gather info on this place and everything, and she can't really do that if she's making a big target of herself. Hope he doesn't mind snark, though.

Replying all at once: Ahaha, sounds like it's gonna be a ride :D I love this Arena's theme, so many cool things are going to come of it. I'm gonna stalk everyone.

And his partner in crime back in his canon also happened to be a sassy young girl so he's totally cool with snark. Seems a lot of people are willing to play nice with Sigma to get info, and I love that :D Hopefully they can get some CR soon! I'll make sure to tag her at the crowning if opportunity doesn't present itself sooner.

As for my plurk, I'm super sorry, but I actually don't use plurk for RP anymore. But you can contact me on Skype for sure, it should be on the Player Contact Page! :) If not, I have an AIM I can give to you that I don't use much, but I can go online whenever you wanna plot stuff out. No problem! I can rely on PM then, and there should be opportunity to see Rose after the arena before Crowning if he's ever out and about in the tower or elsewhere. I definitely intend to put up some sort of open log for Rose post-arena. If not, Crowning still works.

Oh, one last thing. Since Sigma would have been there for her scoring, you can go ahead and read the prose sample on her app if you like! That's pretty much how it would have gone.

Or tl;dr: Rose stands there staring into space for a little too long before grabbing some tiny knives and attacking the dummies.
