Hello, friends! It is I, Jormy (Éowyn/Merlyn), with another nerd to bring to the party!

This is Alain Johns, from the Dark Tower series. He is a delightful puppy of a human being, who is also a gunslinger who can kill the crap out of you. Important things to know about him: he's technically psychic and extremely sensitive even with the Capitol-mandated-powerlessness, he's a fantastic sharpshooter, and he really, really wants to go home right now.

Yeah, to be honest a huge chunk of Alain's characterisation is picked up from here and there throughout the series, and the only one he's actually in is Wizard & Glass, so I can see how you'd not have picked that up yet. :p You're keeping pace with Ink, right?

CR is good and glorious and given that they seem to be filling remarkably similar roles with regard to the Roland/Signless relationship... yes. yesgood. all good.
