Hi hello I am awkward and shy and bad at introductions buuuut...
I'm Jormy, and I just got dragged into this game and it is all Ink's fault. It's been a long time since I was in a game with people I didn't know, so hopefully you'll all forgive me being kind of awkward about... things. and stuff.
Bringing in Éowyn of Rohan, from Tolkien's works, because she is my badass warrior queen and I love her. I'm taking her from book canon, around a year and a half after the end of the Ringwar, so she's married to Faramir and recovered from her battle with the Witch-King. She also has a modicum of Healer training which she didn't have in the books, since I tend to assume that she's the sort of person who, when she says "I want to be a healer, and love all things that grow and are not barren" actually means "I am doing this the moment I am well enough because I have no goddamn patience for having nothing to do".
Anyway. Yes. Éowyn. Or Eowyn, if you prefer.I swear that accent will be the death of me. if it's not there it nags me with its absence and if it is there I have to copy-paste it in. She's representing District 10 and is undoubtedly going to cause many shenanigans with her inability to put up with bullshit.
If you want to talk CR, probably the easiest ways are to message me on this account or to go and poke me on tumblr, since that's where I basically live. I do, as of five minutes ago, have a Plurk, but I have never actually used it before and I will probably forget to check it.
So.
Uh.
Yes.
*sidles away awkwardly*

I'm sure everyone's lovely. I'm just worried I'm going to do something daft, is all. Last time I was in a new game with new people was like 2011 or something. and this one has so much reading and I am in such a weird headspace I'm just like YEP GONNA FUCK UP. (Sorry. Just kinda dumped neuroses all over the place there, oopsie)
And I'm totally fine with an add on plurk, as long as you're fine with me having no idea how to use the dang thing. :p

No worries if you do, honestly! I doubt you will, but even so we all make mistakes once in awhile. And I know how that feels, it is a total information overload when you first start out (or start again or whatever).
If you ever have any questions, at all, feel free to hit me up and I'll gladly answer them or help you out. The best way to contact me is over plurk, though, which is ridiculously confusing as well hahah. My advice would be to just use it and use it and eventually you'll get used to the weird layout.

And that was only one class. If I'd been doing it seriously I would have lost my marbles long ago. Well. You know. If I had marbles to lose.

Like. TWD is on my to-watch list, to-read list, and to-play list, but I have at this point more or less admitted to myself that nothing on any of those lists is getting done until at least the summer holidays.

Understandable. :P

I'm making some progress in that I'm watching Steven Universe, but that's like... item one on a list of about a hundred things I need to watch. And I gots shit to do, yo.

I can only conclude that you are a person with excellent taste and it's doubly a pleasure to meet you!

And the world does indeed need more Tolkien chicks. So does the Tolkien legendarium, in fairness. Like, Tolkien didn't write many women, but the ones he did write are all such fucking badasses.
is it weird that i have this strange urge to play lobelia sackville-baggins? because she is awesome.no subject
also this is a perfectly understandable urge, battleaxe hobbit matriarchs are a thing the world needs more ofno subject
...okay so this means that less than a week after finding out about this place i now have a list of characters to app which is longer than the game allows. i maaaay have a problem.no subject
Black Tom's in Eowyn's District, so that should be fun! :D

Hiiii! I'm Katy and I have Arwen here, though she's mostly movie canon, but YAY MORE TOLKIENS!

I have to admit to being not so well-up on the movie canon (only watched them a few times, and mostly back when they came out, although I did go to the EE marathon my university had last year. and discovered that boromir still makes me cry. but that's beside the point), but I am always a fan of the Tolkiens. :D
