Team
All right guys, are you ready for some blood sport? On Saturday, each Tribute will receive a parachute challenging them to participate in a little game. Tributes who opt in will be summoned to the Cornucopia on Tuesday morning to participate in a game of capture the flag… of sorts. Those who choose to participate will be tasked with stealing the District patches off of the jackets of their opponents. The Tribute(s) who collects one of each (or whoever has the most at sunset) will earn a very big prize: They will be removed from the death roll until the final round.
Those who choose to participate will face down some steep odds, however. There is a 30% chance of death (no buy-outs), 30% chance of injury (can be treated with medical kits), 30% chance of escaping unharmed and with a delightful prize: A backpack containing one week of food and water, clean underwear, and a .38 colt revolver and one box of bullets.
This game is meant to be bloody. It's meant to spur on some tensions. And those who don't choose to participate may still find themselves being stalked and hunted by other Tributes. That's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Even when you choose not to play the game, you may just find you've been dragged in anyway. No one is safe when the prize is that high.
And, if that’s not enough to get you to join in the fun and games, Tributes are encouraged to work together with members of their own Districts to accomplish the goal. If a group from the same District works together and is rolled to win, all members of the team will be removed from the death roll until the final round and all members of their District will be immune from death next week. This only applies to Tributes who work with members of their own District as a team. People who work solo or with other Districts will not spare the lives of their District-mates next week.
In order to participate in this event, you must sign up by Monday, 16 February, 2015 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. The winner will be rolled and announced on Tuesday morning, when the log will go live. If you choose to work as a team, please indicate who will be on your team in that thread.
Hail Storm
Monday afternoon starts out peaceful and sunny, with the first round of parachutes arriving early in the day. However, the sky soon turns black and over the course of about ten minutes, the sky opens up and begins spewing sleet onto the Arena. The storm sustains, then intensifies over several hours, eventually dumping hailstones larger than baseballs and weighing over three pounds. These suckers can and will do serious damage to anyone who doesn’t find shelter right away. The storm doesn’t let up until well after sunset... just in time for Tuesday's festivities!
Nessie
You’ll never find a Nessie in the zoo, but you might find one in the pond this week. You can also find a few of them in the lake. These shy, gentle creatures can be heard crying and singing their beautiful haunting songs all night every night for the rest of the Arena. But don't mistake them as harmless sea beasts. Docile as they are, they are large and dangerous, and they will attack anyone foolish enough to try hunting them.

Do you have any preference on how sigma dies or how quickly you want it to happen? Like, do you want them to fight for a little while first or just have it be kind of quick and dirty?

Well, I wouldn't mind if Sigma put up a fight, being that this is his last Arena and I'd like him to literally die trying - but seeing as he's outplayed in strength here, I don't wanna draw it out too long. :P Maybe he could be completely incapacitated and then try and struggle against inevitability as Jet finishes him off? I think I would like that. Also if we could maybe work in some kind of conversation first or during the fighting, that may be swell (Sigma would be surprised to be attacked, he didn't think Jet had any bad blood with him seeing as Albert was the one who charged Sigma). It's okay if it wouldn't work ICly, though!

And all of that sounds good to me! Jet wouldn't start with a conversation, but it's easy to have him make an initial attack that either misses or Sigma dodges and they can talk from there, Jet's not against conversing while fighting.
We can start the thread and sort of see how it goes and just keep up the plotting through, I want it to be as awesome as you want it to be since it'll be Sigma's last <3
