Hey everybody! This is Neb, a brand new player. I'll be bringing in Cassius Jones, aka the most useless Peacekeeper to curse Panem's soil. He's a spoiled Capitol boy who enlisted to pay off his family's staggering debt, spent most of his tenure in Capitol 12 living a life of benign corruption, and was transferred to the Capitol shortly before the Third Quarter Quell. Since then he's been laying low, kissing ass, and trying to avoid a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad fate. If you have a Capitol character I'd love to plan out some history and CR with them! Hi, Neb! I'm Smurf, and I play Bruce Banner, Aang, and this lovely (horrible) lady over here! Said lady is an AU of Justine Florbelle of Amnesia: The Dark Descent fame, and she's probably dealt with Cassius at one point or another. She, too, came from a family that found itself in a precarious position, but that was because both her parents semi-openly to openly expressed treasonous sentiment and were either dragged away by peacekeepers or mysteriously beaten to death. (She is responsible for both of those things, actually, but no one knows that.)

They could be childhood/teenager-hood friends who knew each other through the party scene, but she's probably not been paying much attention to him since he enlisted to be a peacekeeper, since she was busy being a highly skilled scientist and climbing the social ladder.

Hey Smurf! I read your app and she seems pretty interesting, and I can't wait to see her around. And I like that idea for their backstory! Most of his friends drifted away from him after he enlisted, so it fits into his history nicely. Maybe he remembers her as that girl who seemed nice enough, but was just a little bit off? For good reason, of course - awful business, really, what happened with her family.

Thanks! Can't wait to see you around too! Depending on how long he's known her, he could know her as Locusta instead of Justine. That's the name she went by before her father was 'tragically taken', and she didn't stop people from calling her that, but if they met after that, he'd know her as Justine. Either of those things are up to you, since it might be cool to play a childhood friend angle.

I really like the childhood friend angle, so let's go with that! He'd probably still call her Justine, but he might tease her with Locusta if they're ever in a one on one conversation. And if there's anything you want to know about what Cassius would have been like as a kid, just drop me a line.

Oh god, from what I know about Mariko, she's going to loathe Cassius on every possible level. So of course they need to interact. I'd also love to toss him at Belle when she comes back from the Arena
