Hi, everyone! This is Smurf, player of Bruce Banner, bringing in Aang from Avatar right before the arena starts. For those who don't know, Aang is from a world where a huge chunk of the population can manipulate one element, and he's able to manipulate all four of them. He's reincarnated over and over again, and in every life, he's expected to make sure the world stays in harmony and no one gets too much power. He's basically a mix between Jesus, the Dalai Lama, and the UN. And he knows how to kick ass.

I take him directly before the final battle of the series, so he's a little on edge. He's a bubbly, happy boy who is twelve and thus far too young for the Games. Thus, I'm going to dump him right in without any breathing room. He's got a score of 10 and has been put in District 4.

I'll intro him tomorrow, so his first meeting with anyone will be randomly hugging them in the arena, because he has no idea what's going on but people are hugging so that's what he'll do. If anyone wants to do something with him in the arena, just drop me a line here.

Just commenting here so we both remember it but I'd love two things.

1) Having him hug Hiccup and then later when Hiccup's less out of it him getting his friends to help find and check on him because holy hell, little hugging boy he's never seen before being nice and hugging strangers, they need to make sure the kid is okay.

2) Having him ask Brainy why he's green so he can lie and say he's a plant person. Chlorophyll. He flowers every spring. :|

1) Aang can hugbomb Hiccup, then they can find him after the Cornucopia has mostly cleared, because Aang won't think to rush off and find supplies like all the experienced Tributes will.

2) Aang would absolutely, positively believe him. And will ask him what kind of flowers he grows, because that sounds amazing.

I'm pretty sure Hiccup is gonna cry a little over the hugbomb. Because it's like...torture, maiming, horror, people exploding - Astrid's going to be hurt by the explosion.

Then the Cornucopia is mostly peaceful and this little kid hugs him because everyone looks sad and is hugging. Random kindness and empathy out of freakin' nowhere.

In one short second, he gets to have his faith in humanity restored after it's been so heavily fractured.

If Hiccup cries, he'll get a prolonged hug, because he clearly needs it. Aang has no idea what he's just gone through, but he'll be there. He just has that much good will.

Between Aang and Bruce, I'm sure we'll get Hiccup's faith in humanity back up to snuff.
