Pining for the fjords!

Just a little note here to announce I am dropping Orc as of this thread.

He died in an attempt to rescue Eva. It was a poorly constructed plan but what can you expect from inexperienced Teenagers with more emotions then skills and intelligence?

I brought Orc into the game originally for his best friend Howard who was already in the game. The two had a great relationship as toxic as it could be in the last game Lisa and I played the duo. In this game we were allowed to explore the other more toxic directions the relationship could take. They fought more, upset each other and ultimately separated on less then friendly terms. It was painful and fun and I'm glad I got to play through it. Thank you Lisa!

But something else happened as I forced Orc out into the world. He started drawing around him kind hearted adult characters and some more charming and friendly Teenage characters who made him think and feel and grow. Orc was recovering from all the pain his original canon has inflicted upon him. So for those of you who took a chance on tagging with Orc, and for those of you who even came back to tag with him again and again thank you so much! You meant alot to him and me.

Finally to pierette. Eponine and Orc's relationship wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it was exactly what he needed at the time.They met on a whim when I decided to have Orc speak with Howard's girlfriend or Ex-girlfriend...whatever she was at the time and look how far they came! She brought him out of his shell and gave him a taste of what a normal life might be like. Thank you for providing a silly little romance for a character I never thought would have one.

And so I say goodbye to Orc once more and look forward to where the game is headed even if he will never see the end.

I still think this death is better then how his story ended in the original canon.

His story ended pretty badly in the canon...but at least he didn't get eaten by coyotes?

I've just read this - so much sadness. But thank you for putting up with Eponine (you've just made me feel way guilty about all the crap she talks.) Orc made her better as well. He taught her a little bit of what real love is, though she doesn't yet realise it. And his death is slowly teaching her not to be so self-involved and so thank you for that!
