hey all, i'm rift and new to the game. i've joined with clint barton of avengers fame, that dude nobody ever seemed to remember was an avenger (until he showed up in a movie or two).

regardless, this is his incarnation from the marvel 616 comics continuity (specifically from his solo book), meaning he's more of a screw up and less of a badass soldier. he's been taken from... somewhere during the current run of his solo title... which is a little hard to pinpoint since the books jump back and forth and have been subject to ridiculously long delays.

either way, clint's a pretty nice guy, who is also a complete train wreck and absolutely terrible at getting through a day without getting beaten up. surely, this skill will work for him beautifully while competing in the arena. he's going to be from district 4, though he'll probably go for months without any idea what that actually means.

Not that I'm excited that you're bringing Hawkeye or anything. I've read up to Hawkeye #6ish and I just love that you're bringing him from that area of his continuity.
