I'm not sure whether I'd rather her go out trying to find him because he's been gone for too long or waiting until she's sure he's far enough away that she can slip out and go exploring because she has cabin fever and sometimes makes terrible life choices. Maybe she can get herself in over her head and need Alex to swoop in to rescue her (after she's a little bit worse for the wear, because I am a horrible person)?
