This is not a love meme, however, that also doesn't mean it is a hate meme. Someone's driving can be good, feel free to say as much! Just try to give them an idea on how.
Also please make sure if you are asking for crit you are also giving it. If everyone only posts for themselves, no one will get any feedback. You don't need to comment to everyone, but please be sure if you comment to reply to at least 3 other people. We'll be keeping an eye on this post to make sure everyone's commenting around.
There are some helpful crit questions posted here if you are feeling lost on how to word yourself.

MODS

That said, when I brought my concerns to the mods I was very pleased with the response and I'm appreciative of it being taken into account. My only suggestion is for the follow up to come a little sooner, though I understand it's been a busy month for most of us.

KRYSTAL
Stephanus "Stephen" Reagan | Original, Hunger Games universe |
I'd especially like crit on Stephen, since his character arc is going to involve a lot of development, and I'd like to make sure his character is both consistent and believable.

Both have anon enabled and IP logging off.
I'm still perpetually slow, but I do backtag forever. I really like where Max is going and Topher has plots in the horizon. Both need all the CR, so never hesitate to come at me. You can always reach me on plurk (info on player contact page).

Punchy | Intimates |
Hsiang Penny Jiao | Gone AU |
Victory Hannibal | OC |
I've been kind of slow lately while running a big plot like this, but hopefully I'll be more consistent when I'm not juggling quite so many plates. I also have been told I'm kind of scary to approach, so if anyone has advice on how I can be more accommodating let me know.
Also, I have an anon-enabled IP-off HMD on Howard's journal here.

Seriously though, you may have slowed down a bit, but you've still be doing a pretty awesome job. You've kept up with your tags pretty well (so far as I can tell) and for those did go long, you've been really great about keeping me up to date on where the threads stood.
As always, I remain forever in awe that you can not only keep up with so many characters but that all of them are so unique and each has their own distinct voice.
Something I really appreciate is your enthusiasm for the game. You're always plotting, always planning for what's next, and that just helps feed my excitement and my eagerness so a big thank you there for that. C:

Ink | The Signless
As many of you know, I had some Serious Real Life Stuff put me out of commission for a few weeks. Since I returned (on slowatus) I've been focusing mostly on keeping old threads going and keeping up with established CR, but after finals are over (around the 18th) I plan to come off slowatus, start seriously tagging into open posts and get back in the habit of making open posts myself. I know my activity has been the main subject of crit in the past and I hope I've shown that I'm dedicated to being more on top of things and more approachable for new threads and CR, as well as in general more reliable.

Despite that, however, I really do think Hanji is a fun addition to the game, and I've enjoyed seeing her around. I look forward to threading with you more.

World
I've also been (attempting) to play Madoka Kaname from PMMM as an NPC, despite my awful tagging habits this week. You can also give me some tips on how to do better!
Though I kinda dropped the ball this week, I've been trying to work on my speed and making an effort not to drop tags. Please let me know how I'm doing! I worry I've sacrificed quality for speed. What do you think?

Michi
The past several weeks has been a series of health problems (bronchitis, eye strain, etc) and unexpected work hours, so I'll just be up front with an apology for my slowness lately. I can promise that I'm working on it. But beyond that, if you have anything to say, feel free. I'm all ears.
For the record, I also have a private/screened HMD on my journal, which also doubles as an opt-out post if you're just not fond of Terezi as a general character.
Garshil (Nasir)
I haven't been able to work on integrating as much as I'd hoped due to health issues that flared up but I'm going to focus more on that for the upcoming Arena as he's more in his element there.
I'm especially appreciative of any feedback you have on his fighting since I'm rusty playing that.
I also have a HMD for him on his journal here with IP logging off.

hallie ›› sherlock
›› my activity's been a bit all over the map for the past month and a half, and for that i do apologize! it's a combination of real life hitting and me wanting to clarify some voice issues. i've been doing a pretty thorough canon review and hope to be up to speed and tagging out a lot more by this weekend. if there's anything i've dropped that you would like to continue or follow up on, please let me know. and, as ever, if there's anything you'd like to bring up with me i'd be happy to hear it.

Also, I am pretty darn sure I dropped a thread with you, way back in the Crowning log. I just wanted to let you know that that was totally my bad, and the fault of a lot of school happening all at once. I'd love to get to follow up with them at some point in the near future - whenever you're back into the swing of things with Sherlock, I would love to give his and Cecil's meeting another go, or plan something else (or even continue the Crowning thread, if you're okay with backtagging that far).
Britt
Maximus | Gladiator |
Ellie | Last of Us |
Kurt Wallander | Wallander |
So, I've been working hard on keeping my activity regular and even across my characters, with the except of my recent crazy work hiatus.
Wallander is brand new, so I would love any crit for him you could offer - I know that people are canon blind, but since he's a panem AU you can crit on that too.
Ellie and Max I think have been fairly straight foward, nothing I feel like I need to explain!
Sherlock has been a tough one lately, he's been in the games so long that he really isn't himself anymore, and I'm a bit worried that my voice has been a bit watery because of it... I have a really awesome plot planned coming up with him soon, as Te hinted at in the rebellion post, but there it is.
no subject
You know how I feel about Ellie and Max - my love knows no bounds - but I do just want to comment on how well you separate the voices. Obviously, Ellie is a teenage girl and Maximus is a grizzled war veteran, but the differences go even deeper than that and you do a great job. I mean, just looking at speech patterns you could tell who's speaking without any pronouns to help.

Amry
I'd like to apologize in particular for the dropped threads around the time of the Crowning log - I'd been working hard to make sure that I finished as many threads as possible with Cecil, but I really dropped the ball there. I didn't communicate with you guys about that, either, and I'm very sorry! I hope that I'll be able to give all of my planned CR another try in the next couple of weeks. If I dropped a thread with you, I'd love to get to contact you so we can plan out another attempt.
Otherwise: How is Cecil's voice? Does he sound like him? Is he well-integrated into the setting? Any comments on his development? Anonymous crit can also be dropped over at his personal HMD.
Thanks!

Tipple
Guy Crood | The Croods |
Jan Arrah / The Progenitor | DC Comics |
My speed's getting a little better since my RL is settling, but I'm still working on that to try to get it a little more up to snuff. AFAIK I haven't dropped anything I haven't contacted the other player about - and as a whole I just don't drop threads on purpose without talking to someone unless it seems like a finished convo on the network, so if I have dropped one, please let me know. I might tag slow but I'm willing to tag in perpetuity and my phone sometimes does this dumb thing if I slide the screen the wrong way where it archives my emails so I've noticed some lost notifications.
I've also noticed some of my tags are a little thin but I'm finally getting my sleep on track so that should be improving since my brain's doing a little better.
So those are the things I'm aware of/worried about myself. Lemme know if you're having problems with anything else, how I'm doing on voice, etc etc.

So, pretty much, just keep doing what you do, and I hope to get to play off your characters soon!

Fritz
-tag speed
-tagging out (especially with non-castmates)
-creating multiple hooks (I only have one open at the moment but...)
-Trying not to overwhelm myself and be consistent with plan follow through
-keeping the convo focus balanced between Initiate's business and the other character's
I haven't left a tag for over a week yet and so haven't needed to contact anyone in warning for such. I still need to watch for Typos, spelling and grammer errors but I will keep trying. Also been poking with re-strengthening the voice a bit.
To remind, I have an HMD in my journal if anyone needs it. If you'd like to not be tagged by Initiate, have the speech quirk removed, swears edited, whatever, you can let me know there as well as here.

I'm psyched to see what we can eventually get up to with Jan and Initiate. As usual, I keep finding him really interesting. I like how interactions with him feel like they move sort of organically. Like I never quite know where a thread is gonna go with him and that's a lot of fun. I'm also excited to have Brainy dance around him with the Lonestar stuff, since Initiate is interested in working with one alias but kinda wants to murder the other persona.

Garak |
Garak is new and I'm a lot less certain of his voice. Because of that, and just the timing of apping him in with my schedule for school and work, I feel like I've made him kind of unavailable and I'm sorry for that. If you do have any critique though, particularly involving his voice, I would very much like to hear it. It's my first time attempting to play him and yeah, no, I'm just super unsure of myself a lot of the time.
Enjolras is still floating along. He's not in as awful of a place as he was at the point of last HMD, but that could easily change depending on how this exposé thing plays out in the next 48 hours or so. As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns on his characterization, narrative arc, or anything else, feel free to come at me!
As a general note, I've been slow over the past month or so because of school and I'm really sorry for that. I've also noticed notifs slipping, and some sloppiness with regard to typos, syntax... Exactly the things you'd expect when tagging with a fried brain. The semester's wrapping up, and hopefully I should be back to full capacity in another week and a half or so, but thank you guys for being patient with me, and I'm sorry if I've inadvertently left you hanging anywhere. Please please please tell me if there's something you want clarification, or if I've lost track of a thread or something, though. I promise, it's nothing personal, I'm just a hot mess lately.
And both of my guys have anon-enabled, non-IP logging HMDs stickied to their journals, if that's more your style. Comments are unscreened because that's just how I roll. Thanks!

I'm currently on slowatus until the end of the semester on May 21st, after which I should be a lot more regular about my tagging schedule. I can't think of anything major that might need clarification, but I want to encourage feedback of all kinds so if you have any questions or feedback, I welcome it.
Also, I just joined the mod team as a list-maintainer/general helper about two weeks ago and I'm updating the lists and tidying things slowly but surely. If you have any feedback or recommendations about those sorts of things, please let me know! On my current agenda: cleaning and organizing the tags, creating a dropped character list, better organizing the navigation as a whole. If there's an area that needs attention, please always feel free to direct me toward it. Likewise, I'd like to know what is working in terms of organization. Thanks, everyone!

As a note, and I think this was brought up to you but for me it was never fixed, on the reserves list whenever a canon went too long that it went onto a second line, it threw off the others so the canons weren't listed with the corresponding character. Not sure how to fix this but that's how it showed up on my layout (I use the default). It's a little thing though. You really do seem on top of the lists and thank you for that!

Wesker|
I don't think too much has changed since the last time so... all my usual disclaimers. Typos and such are an ongoing battle. I really do my best to catch them beforehand, and will always try to edit if I can still do so after tagging.
I know Wesker has been pretty M.I.A., but I'm trying to get him out more. He's just not a character that lends himself to a lot of random encounters/idle chit-chat.
Any problems, feel free to bring them to me, I will try my best to work on them/with you to fix them.

I've been slow to pick up new CR but I do have an open log going to try and make Chris here more accessible. I will be better in the future about giving him open threads but for those of you who don't know my real life has been slammed trying to start my own business. Now that I'm open I actually have more time for RP so if I'm not better slap me!
That said I welcome any and all criticism, I love this bar.
Re: ca
I'd like to see your guys tagging around a little more? Maybe it would help to pick a day on which to hit up new-ish logs?I know a few players who specifically tag new things on Xday of the week. But that's the only feedback-y feedback I can really think of, and honestly, they're perfection characterization-wise so you know. Whatever. Ignore my nitpicking.
Have my super serious death icon cause I never have opportunity to use it on anyone.

I was told some posts were being updated for the future and instead of asking people to recon, I'm just going to go through with the threads the best I can. thanks. }
