ANYWAY I have returned now that life has shifted a little, and I have brought with me Zed from the (woefully short-lived) NBC series Constantine!



Zed is a streetwise artist (con and otherwise) who has something serious to run from - but this time, maybe she wound up going a little bit TOO far away. She's coming to you fresh from spending an extended period of time with a devil-may-care mage and his pseudo-immortal best friend, armed with the knowledge that yes, all those celestial beings you hear about in stories are true.

It's not that she's not going to be frightened or impressed - it's just that she's not going to be SURPRISED.

She has been placed in DISTRICT 2! So peeps who room with her may want to watch their stuff. She's a skilled thief, which may not be great if she doesn't like you.

Because of the length of time between our activity checks, we do a mid-cycle check in to clear out idlers and allow new people to come in.

All players must provide a link to show us one thread per character that they've been tagging during the cycle (anything from May 8th until now is fair game.) It can be brand new activity, or it could be a thread from the last arena you’ve been plucking away at, anything so long as it demonstrates that you are actively participating in the game. The only stipulation is that the thread have at least 3 comments from your character during the current cycle (prior to this post going up on June 14th). You’ll need to provide one recent thread per character per mid-cycle check in, but you won’t need to worry about estimating credit counts or tallying anything up for those check-ins. A simple link will do.

Please comment here with your character names and journals before June 21st. All characters must check in. Anyone who has not checked in here within one week will be removed. In order to be exempted from the check in, you must have a hiatus notice posted to the hiatus/drop page or have contacted the moderators.

I'm going out to Wyoming for a week to ride horses, see geysers, raft down rivers, and eat criminal amounts of meat. I might get to backtags, but I have no idea what the internet is going to look like out there or if I'm even going to have downtime to do it, so no promises. I'll be back next Tuesday.

youbarium | Carlos will be doing his D13 thing, being forced to train and work on his science projects in between. His dream plotting comment is up, but I'm going to tentatively say that his need for proof that there's a better situation than D13 will let him pass the test. Backthreading the event is totes fine by me.

elfstone | Aragorn will be holed up somewhere recovering from his injuries trying to get to the bells. He's been hit by the Excalibur curse -- when I come back, I'd be down to backthread him running into someone and being a jerk.
