Hey guys, Campa here! I know I failed to announce it here, but I've been on an official hiatus for the last week, traveling around and all that jazz. But now I'm back! I'll slowly be working to get back into the groove of things and replying to my back tags again. So, if you get some older tags, you know why now.

Ali here with one last character! This is Jade Nguyen, better known as Cheshire from DC Comics. For those who aren't familiar or only know her from Young Justice, she's best known in the comics as one of the world's deadliest assassins and as Roy Harper's baby mama. She's also got some mental health issues that rear up, so head's up on that one.

So initially Jade was gonna be an NPC, but I ultimately decided to app her straight to D13. She was originally a free agent assassin raised in District 7 by a pair of terrorists, but was recruited by the Rebellion once they started to properly organize. In D13, she is best known for assassinating one of Snow's relatives several years ago, though she never publicly took credit and the death was played off to the public as a natural death. Her AU backstory can be found here!

She's a hardass in, the Rebellion and she's not gonna take any whining or any shit from any off-world Tributes.  She basically sees them as weapons in an arsenal (har har) and her priority in life is to burn the Capitol to the ground no matter the costs.  The Games don't bother her so much as the nuking of D13 and their plight does.

I really hate doing this, and more, telling this embarrassing story.

Two weeks ago, I was bitten by a very antisocial cat.  I've been bitten by cats before and no problems, but this time...everything went terribly badly. I spent all last week in the hospital (for a CAT BITE for fuck's sake!). 

Right now, I'm out of the hospital, but we're not sure how permanent the nerve damage (from a CAT BITE!) is.  Right now I can't really use my right index finger. 

Needless to say, my head is not in RP, the game, or, well, anything other than this whole drama (because there's the state board of health breathing down my neck trying to assess if he's a dangerous animal who needs to be put down, etc, etc), so I'm going to hiatus for the rest of the month.  I'll try to catch up on my back tags.  I love this game and hate that I'm missing STUFF, but I will be back with The Nerd.  As soon as I can reliably type.
